Man Utd interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that he could have both Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial available this weekend

The Red Devils will be looking to make it nine games unbeaten under the Norwegian tactician, while attempting to bounce back after dropping their first points under his stewardship in midweek against Burnley

"We've not had a proper session since the game so hopefully both of them can get through that I don't think there's anything with Paul," he is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News

"Anthony will do some rehab work I would imagine him to be involved, he seemed happy yesterday

" Particularly given Pogba's form in recent weeks which has seen him score six goals and provide four assists in his last seven Premier League outings, the Frenchman's presence this weekend will be important to help United keep the pressure on their rivals in the race for the top four

As per PA reporter Simon Peach's tweet below, the World Cup winner was seen limping after the game against Burnley, and so he has been an injury concern this week

However, based on Solskjaer's latest update above, it would seem as though he has allayed those fears and doesn't think that the reported knock is anything that will keep Pogba sidelined

News24 - Man Utd news: No sign of Pogba but injury boost as Martial spotted arriving for training - Duration: 2:38.

Manchester United stars were spotted arriving for training in frosty conditions at their Carrington base on Friday morning

A host of first-team players including Anthony Martial were photographed pulling into the complex as they continue their preparations ahead of Sunday's clash with Leicester

However, there was no sign of Paul Pogba among his team-mates – with the French midfielder a doubt to face the Foxes due to a groin injury

While there are two entrances to Carrington, the fact that the majority of the squad were spotted using the same track in the wintry conditions casts questions over whether Pogba was at training this morning

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope the World Cup winner is fit to face Leicester, having been in superb form since the Norwegian took over at Old Trafford

Pogba has scored six goals in seven matches, including his latest from the penalty spot as the Red Devils fought from two goals down to draw with Burnley

Martial is also in a race to prove his fitness ahead of the weekend, having signed a new five-year deal on transfer deadline day

The French winger has been struggling with a training ground knock but Solskjaer is hopeful both his players can feature at the King Power

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday morning, the United boss said: "We've not had a proper session since the game [against Burnley]

"So hopefully both of them can get through that. I don't think there's anything with Paul

"Anthony has done some rehab work and will try a session today. I would imagine him to be involved, he seemed happy yesterday

" United currently sit sixth in the Premier League, two points behind Arsenal and Chelsea while they remain 16 points off the pace of table-toppers Liverpool
