Celtic team news vs Valencia: Predicted line up – EIGHT stars miss out but one ace returns - Duration: 3:12.

Celtic are back in Europa League action this evening as they look to upset the odds and overturn a 2-0 deficit against Valencia

Goals from Denis Cheryshev and Ruben Sobrino last week left the Hoops on the brink going into the second leg of the round of 32 tie

However, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted his team can get the better of the La Liga giants

"It was disappointing last week but we can come back again tomorrow night and that is something that is very much within our culture," Rodgers said on Wednesday

"We know it is a challenge but if I look at the game and ask myself do we have a chance? Of course we do

"And when the answer is yes we have to put every energy and effort into taking that chance, even though it will be difficult

"That's been the make-up of this group since I came. It's a game that we look forward to

" Celtic's task will not be made any easier, though, by the lengthy list of absentees

Kieran Tierney, suffering from a hip problem, joins Olivier Ntcham, Leigh Griffiths and Tom Rogic on the sidelines

Filip Benkovic, Eboue Kouassi, Anthony Ralston and Daniel Arzani are not available for the trip to Spain either

Rodgers will, however, have Jozo Simunovic back among his ranks after the defender sat out Sunday's win over Kilmarnock

Simunovic is expected to partner Dedryck Boyata in the heart of the Celtic defence in front of Scott Bain

On-loan Jeremy Toljan will continue at right-back, with Jonny Hayes deputising for Tierney on the left

Scott Brown and Callum McGregor will be looking to take centrol of the midfield at the Mestalla

James Forrest and Scott Sinclair are set to play on the wings, with Ryan Christie in the hole behind striker Odsonne Edouard

Edouard has bagged twice in seven Europa League appearances this season and Celtic will be banking on him doing the business again

Celtic predicted line up: Bain, Toljan, Boyata, Simunovic, Hayes, Brown, McGregor, Forrest, Sinclair, Christie, Edouard

Royal news : Royal FEUD: How Charles 'KNEW Diana and Sarah Ferguson were PLOTTING against him' - Duration: 3:55.

The Prince of Wales is the longest-serving heir apparent in British history, having become first in line to the throne in 1952 upon his grandfather George VI's death almost 67 years ago

Just a year before Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced in 1996, the Princess of Wales questioned Charles's suitability to be King during that sensational Panorama interview

This led to Prince Charles working himself into a frenzy over fears Diana and Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew, were "hatching plans to replace him", according to royal biographer Tom Bower in "Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles"

In the 2018 book, Mr Bower writes: "Now, mindful of Diana's prediction on Panorama that he would never be king, Charles convinced himself that Diana and Sarah, Andrew's estranged wife, were hatching plans to replace him as heir – by announcing that on the Queen's death or abdication, Andrew would be Regent until William was 18, when he would take over

" The Prince of Wales was fuelled by fears his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles would ruin his chances of succession

Following Diana's sensational interview, the Queen and Prince Philip persuaded their eldest son to divorce the mother of his children

Mr Bower said: "After the broadcast, the Queen and Prince Philip – neither of whom Charles viewed as well-meaning advisers – told him that he could not rebuild his image nor dampen the controversy about the succession until he broke with Camilla

" In 2019 it was revealed that nearly half of all Britons would like to see Prince Charles pass the crown directly to Prince William upon the Queen's death, according to a new poll

The survey, carried out by BMG Research for The Independent, found that 46 per cent of those questioned would approve if the Prince of Wales, who recently celebrated his 70th birthday, removed himself from the line of succession in favour of his son

Overall, "just 13% said they would 'strongly oppose'" such a move, The Independent reports, "while 11% said they would 'somewhat oppose'"

Royal biographer Craig Brown confirmed that Princess Margaret's feelings towards Diana changed after she began to discuss her marital problems in the media

In Mr Brown's 2017 book "Ma'am Darling: Ninety-Nine Glimpses of Princess Margaret", it is mentioned that Margaret decided to completely cut Diana out of her life after the Princess of Wales gave a controversial interview in 1995

Diana said: "There were three of us in the marriage, so it was a bit crowded." The royal biographer also claimed that Margaret referred to Diana as the 'wretched girl' and she would tell friends that "Poor Lilibet (Queen Elizabeth II) and Charles have done everything they can to get rid of the wretched girl, but she just won't go

" Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter described Prince Charles and Prince Andrew's ex-wives as "two little naughty schoolgirls"

Chelsea news: Merson makes Zinedine Zidane and Frank Lampard claim amid Sarri worry - Duration: 2:19.

That is the view of Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson, who says that he is unsure whether either of them would be suitable at the moment.

Sarri is under increasing pressure at Stamford Bridge after after the team's poor run of form in recent weeks.

Heavy losses to Manchester City and Bournemouth and defeats at Arsenal and Manchester United have not done gone down well in west London.

Chelsea bosses are said to be weighing up their options and with the team set to take on City again on Sunday in the Carabao Cup final, it could get worse.

It has been reported that Zidane and Lampard have been identified as targets to take over should Sarri leave.

But former Arsenal midfielder Merson thinks that the club should look elsewhere if that is the case.

"I think with Zidane, how long would that last? Another year or one and a half years at the most?" he told Sky Sports.

"Lampard was a legend at Chelsea. If you are going to have a five-year plan then I would say get Frank, but if you are not going to do that - and Chelsea are renowned for changing every year and a half or two years - then it's going to end in tears.

"I don't think he is ready at the moment.

"I would have no problem if you said it's going to be a five-year plan and then go with Frank and see what happens, but I don't think Zidane. He would be another short-term plan.

"Chelsea need stability. They have won trophies and it has worked, but sooner or later it isn't going to work and teams are getting better as Chelsea are changing."

Zidane has not been in a job since he left Real Madrid at the end of last season after winning a third consecutive Champions League trophy.

While his standing in the game is not under question, his lack of English speaking could be an issue.

Chelsea legend Lampard is pushing for promotion from the Championship in his first season with Derby after starting his tenure well.

Whether or not bringing in him to Stamford Bridge this early in his career would be a good thing is open to debate.

Lampard is a legend at the club and finished his Blues career as their top goalscorer ever.

He also won three Premier League titles, four FA Cup's, the Champions League and Europa League during his time at Chelsea.

Royal news : Meet the Artist Behind the Stunning Meghan Markle Portrait Featured by Beyoncé and Jay - Duration: 3:58.

Beyonce and Jay-Z surprised royal watchers and the BeyHive today when they honored Meghan Markle while accepting a BRIT Award

The duo shared a video of their brief acceptance speech featuring a stunning framed portrait of the Duchess of Sussex in the background, mirroring their pose in front of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre from their "Apesh**t" video

Bey later shared footage on her Instagram, celebrating the duchess in honor of Black History Month and congratulating her on her pregnancy

The tributes might not have been the same, however, without illustrator Tim O'Brien, who created the hyperrealistic portrait of the duchess that appears in the Carters' video

The Brooklyn-based artist "did not know" that the Carters were going to use his masterpiece, "but if they can now put my piece in the Louvre, I'll call it even," he tells BAZAAR

com via email. O'Brien, 54, originally created the oil painting of Meghan last year for the Summer 2018 cover of her sorority's magazine

"I was hired by two great creative directors, Erin Mayes and Kate Collins out of Austin, to paint the cover of The Key, the magazine for the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority," he tells BAZAAR

"This was a collaboration and we worked together closely on the image and all the tiny details specific to the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority

" The painting is a stunning juxtaposition of a modern royal—in every sense of the word—alongside traditional symbols of royalty

This Meghan appears in a Victorian-like portrait wearing a towering tiara, several layered pearl necklaces, and a rich and frilly gown wrapped in a fur shawl

"I think she's lovely and I wanted her to look regal, like a classic portrait, even trying to achieve an aged feel to the color of the piece," O'Brien explains

The Duchess of Sussex doesn't have an official royal portrait yet (although Prince Harry does), so perhaps the future artist can take some notes from this one

But has Meghan seen the portrait herself? "I would imagine she's seen it and I do not know how she felt about it," the artist says

"Would love to know, but I'm sure she's a busy person these days." O'Brien has been illustrating for 30 years and studied in New Haven, Connecticut

He has a penchant for subjects in pop culture—he's even made a royal portrait of Beyoncé, too

"I've painted queens, presidents, rock stars, and dreadful people," he says. The artist has also illustrated multiple TIME magazine covers, covers for Rolling Stone and Sports Illustrated, and several U

S. postage stamps.O'Brien also does commissions, and most of his work is for sale on request

✅ Breaking News - Roberto Firmino parks £250,000 yellow Lamborghini in disabled bay - Duration: 3:01.

Roberto Firmino appears to have a parking fine heading his way after the Liverpool striker abandoned his £250,000 yellow Lamborghini in a disabled bay as he went out for dinner

The striker was enjoying a meal at a new £1million restaurant formed by a partnership between the iconic Cavern Club and the Bem Brasil restaurant chain on Wednesday night

Unwilling to find a legitimate parking space, Firmino opted to just leave his car in a disabled spot as he enjoyed his evening off

Share this article Share In the UK it is an offence for anyone to park in a disabled space without displaying a valid Blue Badge and the offence carries a maximum fine of £1,000

Firmino, who earns £180,000 a week at Anfield, looked to be unfazed by his choice of parking spot though as he walked into the restaurant while on the phone

His car, the Lamborghini Urus, boasts a hair-raising top speed of 189.5 mph and can do 0-60 mph in just 2

93 seconds.Firmino looked extremely casual as he opted to wear joggers, a hoodie and a leather jacket on top and was joined at the restaurant by wife Larissa Pereira

Fellow Brazilian and Anfield stopper Alisson was also in attendance as Jurgen Klopp's players enjoyed a night off after their hard-earned 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League

Alisson's wife Natalia Loewe was also in attendance as she walked into the restaurant just in front of her husband

Completing the group was Alberto Moreno, who played no part in the draw at Anfield against the Bundesliga giants

The Spanish full-back is expected to leave the club in search of regular football in the summer and seemed keen to make the most of his final few months in the city by attending with girlfriend Lilia Granadilla and their children

The group were trying out a new menu put together by Bem Brazil and the Cavern Club at a venue on Mathew Street

Bem Brasil serves 'authentic' Brazilian cuisine, with the menu featuring treats such as 'prime Brazilian sausages' and chicken hearts

It has a very popular branch in Manchester, as well as Liverpool, and the restaurants are a prime spot for footballers to enjoy some South American food

Man Utd news: Ed Woodward delivers on promise as Red Devils near Marcus Rashford boost - Duration: 4:19.

The Mirror claim that United and Rashford's representatives have made significant progress in talks and that a deal will be thrashed out for the striker to commit his future to the club until 2025

The 21-year-old is one of several star players that the Red Devils are desperate to tie down, particularly in his recent form

Under the guidance of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Rashford has eight goals and three assists in 12 appearances having had just two goals and five assists in 20 games before that

Rashford's current deal - which he signed in May 2016 - expires at the end of next season, although United have the option to extend his current agreement by 12 months

But having handed Anthony Martial a new five-year, £200,000-a-week deal at the end of January, United are now close to making Rashford another of their highest-paid players

And that will see United chief Woodward carry out a promise delivered to investors during a conference call last week

With United hoping to get Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Ashley Young and David de Gea to put pen-to-paper in addition to Rashford, Woodward said: "It's pretty well known the end dates of the players' contracts

We are a long way through the ones we had planned to do this season but obviously we want to finish off the final few as rapidly as we can

"Possibly, by the time we get to the summer we will be in a much stronger position with regard to the average tenure of each contract with our key players

" The Mirror say that Woodward is confident he will confirm Rashford's Old Trafford extension in the coming weeks with the young forward having previously been linked with the likes of Real Madrid

It is claimed the United academy graduate even contemplated his long-term future at the club under previous boss Jose Mourinho

The forward was not a guaranteed starter under the Portuguese coach and was often shunted out to a position on the wing, whereas his preferred role is through the middle, where he has played under Solskjaer

The England international is thought to be particularly pleased with the Norwegian interim manager's confidence in him to play as the side's No 9 and he is set to sign a deal that will put him on a salary closer to that of team-mate Martial's

The report suggests United also want to keep midfielder Andreas Pereira, who it is said wants to leave the club in search of more consistent game-time

While his minutes have increased under Solskjaer, the Spaniard is still no closer to being a regular starter at United - who want will use their one-year extension in his deal and try to convince him he is suited best by remaining with them

Woodward is also said to be confident of closing a deal for Herrera, who was particularly key on Monday and scored the game's opening goal as United beat Chelsea 2-0 to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals

United have won 11 of 13 games in all competitions under Solskjaer and will hope to maintain their fine form when they host Premier League title hopefuls, and bitter enemies, Liverpool at Old Trafford this Sunday (2

05pm).

Netanyahu rivals form alliance for Israeli election News Al Jazeera - Duration: 3:40.

Netanyahu rivals form alliance for Israeli election News Al Jazeera

Polls suggest that a Benny Gantz Yair Lapid alliance could become Israels largest faction after April 9 vote.

Israels primary centrist challengers to Prime Minister have announced they are joining forces, a dramatic move that has created the first credible alternative to Netanyahus decade long rule.

Retired military chief of the Resilience party and ex finance minister Yair Lapid, head of the Yesh Atid party, said they would present a joint list for the upcoming Israeli elections that "will constitute the new Israeli ruling party".

In a joint statement, the two said they were "motivated by national responsibility".

"The new ruling party will bring forth a cadre of security and social leaders to ensure Israels security and to reconnect its people and heal the divide within Israeli society," a statement from Yesh Atid said.

Recent polls suggest that together, the two could surpass Netanyahus ruling Likud to become Israels largest faction after the April 9 vote.

Under their unity arrangement, the two agreed to a rotation leadership should they come to power, under which Gantz would first serve as prime minister and would then later be replaced by Lapid.

Following them in the joint list would be a pair of other former military chiefs, Gabi Ashkenazi and Moshe Yaalon.

Even if the joint list surpasses Likud at the ballot box, it is not guaranteed to form the next government unless it can garner a parliamentary majority with other parties.

Since Israels creation in 1948, no one party has clinched an outright majority in the legislature and so post election coalition building has determined the composition of governments and who leads them.

Following news of the merger, Netanyahus Likud party issued a grim warning.     "The choice is clear: its either a left wing Lapid Gantz government with the support of the Arab parties, or a right wing government led by Netanyahu," a statement said.

Netanyahu, who is embroiled in multiple corruption allegations and faces a potential indictment, has taken a hard turn to the right in recent days to shore up his nationalistic base.

On Wednesday, Netanyahu helped negotiate the merger of two far right parties, the pro settler Jewish Home and the racist Jewish Power, that could give followers of the late anti Arab rabbi, Meir Kahane, a stronger voice in politics.

Jewish Power is comprised of hardline religious nationalists who have cast themselves as successors to the banned Kahanist movement, which dreamed of turning into a Jewish theocracy and advocated the forced removal of Palestinians.

Netanyahus courting of such forces drew sharp condemnations from much of the Israeli mainstream, with Gantz accusing him of losing touch "with his Zionism and with his dignity".

Gantz has been the target of repeated barbs from the prime minister for being a "weak" leftist, which he had brushed off, drawing criticism that he lacked a fighting spirit.

But in a campaign speech in Tel Aviv on Tuesday night, Gantz hit back at Netanyahu, chiding him for his long years studying and working in the US, and accusing him of becoming "addicted to the pleasures of power, corruption and hedonism".

The flurry of developments comes ahead of a Thursday night deadline for parties running for the April 9 parliamentary election to submit their lineups.

Royal news : Beyoncé thanks Meghan Markle for 'pushing race relations forward' - Duration: 4:49.

Beyoncé has posted a gushing tribute to the Duchess of Sussex on her blog, in which she thanked the royal for 'pushing the race relations dialogue forward'

The singer, who last night honoured Meghan in her BRIT award acceptance speech, praised her for putting black culture 'front and center' at her wedding to Prince Harry and congratulated her on her pregnancy

The Duchess, whose first child is believed to be due next month, returned this morning from a lavish baby shower in New York attended by the likes of Amal Clooney and Serena Williams

Pointing to the black pastor, gospel choir and black cellist Meghan chose for her nuptials at Windsor Castle in May 2018, Beyoncé thanked her for 'using her platform for good' as a former actress and now member of the royal family

Meghan was widely praised for breaking with tradition by enlisting the African-American Reverend Michael B

Curry for delivering the sermon at her nuptials while the Kingdom Choir performed a rendition of Ben E

King's Stand By Me. Scroll down for video It comes after Beyoncé and rapper husband Jay Z paid tribute to the 'Melanated Mona' in a pre-recorded acceptance speech for their Best International Group gong

In a spoof of their Apes**t music video, which showed them standing in front of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre in Paris, the superstar couple posed in front of a portrait of Meghan Markle wearing a crown

In an accompanying image shared on Instagram, Beyoncé wrote: 'In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas

'The hitmaker then added a message to Meghan, saying: 'Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy

In her engagement interview in 2017, Meghan, who is biracial, discussed the 'disheartening' racial discrimination she had faced since embarking on a romance with Prince Harry

'At the end of the day I'm really just proud of who I am and where I come from, and we have never put any focus on that,' she said

'We've just focused on who we are as a couple.' The former Suits actress married Prince Harry last year and returned this morning from New York where she enjoyed a lavish baby shower with her celebrity friends

The couple's baby news was announced by Kensington Palace via Twitter on October 15, with Baby Sussex expected next month

The painting chosen by Beyoncé and Jay-Z was created by Brooklyn-based illustrator and portrait painter Tim O'Brien

He seemed as surprised as anyone to see his painting used in the BRIT Awards clip, tweeting: 'Interesting to see my painting of Megan Markel [sic] behind @Beyonce and JZ for their Brit award

Congratulations to them both.'   O'Brien said the couple never asked for permission to use his work and haven't paid him, but he doesn't mind because he feels so 'honoured'

In their acceptance video, played for the crowd at London's O2 Arena, the Lemonade singer said: 'Thank you so much to the BRIT Awards for this incredible honor

You guys have always been so supportive. Everything is love. Thank you.' Jay Z then nonchalantly added: 'You're welcome'

Making a surprise appearance in the clip was Blue Ivy, who - although not being seen on screen - could be heard asking 'Why?' after her parents turned to face the Meghan portrait

Despite the clip going down a treat with the audience, it clearly irked show host Jack Whitehall that none of the nominees for Best International Group - which had included First Aid Kit, Brockhampton, Chic & Nile Rodgers and Twenty-One Pilots - had shown up at the show

Man Utd transfer news: Kalidou Koulibaly alternative identified by Italian football expert - Duration: 2:29.

That's according to Calcioland podcast host David Amoyal, who believes the Roma centre-half 'makes a lot of sense' for them

United have long been interested in Napoli defender Koulibaly. The Senegal international, 27, is regarded by many as one of the top centre-backs in European football

However, Amoyal can't see him leaving Napoli anytime soon.  "For me, Koulibaly, it's been a long time since I've seen a defender as good as him make such an impact," he told The Calcioland podcast

"I've said it, in one game I'd probably take [Giorgio] Chiellini in Serie A over him, but over the course of the season I'm taking Koulibaly without a doubt over any defender in Serie A

"He could do great on any team, so I think he's definitely worth whatever the fee a club will pay

"I'm still not sure he will be available, he keeps saying he wants to stay at Napoli

"I think if it came to it, Napoli would much rather sell Allan than Koulibaly because they have a great track record of finding midfielders

Defenders like Koulibaly are much harder to come by.  "So as it stands now, I'm still gonna say I'd be rather surprised if Koulibaly leaves in the summer

" United have beenon the hunt for a new centre-back since the days of Jose Mourinho, who was sacked at Old Trafford in mid-December

It is believed the club have a strong interest in Koulibaly, yet it appears tricky to prise him away from Naples

Amoyal, therefore, thinks they should look at Manolas instead.  "As far as Manchester United [go], I still think they should shop in Italy," he said

"I think Manolas makes a lot of sense for them. He's an outstanding centre-back in Serie A, I have him as maybe the fourth or fifth best one in the league

"Best Champions League pedigree, has experience, has speed - which in the Premier League helps - he has a reasonable exit clause, he has Mino Raiola as his agent

"So that makes a lot of sense to me."
