 Meghan Markle has spent the last five days enjoying a luxury break in New York with some of her closest pals

  As well as munching on macarons and sipping tea at Laduree, and dining at Ralph Lauren's swanky restaurant, the 37-year-old was also treated to a lavish baby shower

  The party was held at the The Mark Hotel in Manhattan, an exclusive five star venue dubbed a 'castle in the sky', where certain rooms cost an eye-watering £57,000 a night

    Tennis star Serena Williams is rumoured to be responsible for planning the bash, along with Meghan's long time BFF and stylist, Jessica Mulroney

  Both were on the guest list for the baby shower, as well as Amal Clooney, Gayle King, Misha Nonoo, Taryn Toomey, Abigail Spencer, Serge Normant and Daniel Martin

  Deliveries of pink roses, orange trees and even a candy floss machine were made to the hotel in the run up to the event, which was followed up by a number of expensive gifts arriving, including a travel cot worth £290

 While little is known about the intricacies of the party itself, one of the attendees has just shared a look at the sweet treats given out to guests - and they're so cute

    Meghan's royal wedding make-up artist, Daniel Martin posted a photo to his Instagram account of three hand-decorated cookies from the baby shower

 The biscuits are delicately shaped into different designs, showing a baby bib, a rattle and a stork carrying a baby

 He captioned the post: "Such an incredible day celebrating #babylove."    Despite other guests remaining tight-lipped about the shower, Daniel has never been afraid of sharing photos from his time with the duchess

  The New York-based make-up guru recently shared a look at a brunch Meghan made for him during a visit to London, consisting of avocado on toast, tea and chocolate truffles from Fortnum & Mason

 He affectionately called the mum-to-be the "avocado toast whisperer" and said she was a "consummate hostess" in the caption

" Mr Bower claims Mark Bolland, who acted as Charles' spin doctor said: "Andrew wanted to be me

I should have let him work with me. Now he's unhelpful." The biography claims Charles believed his brother "had been spreading poison" about his now wife Camilla Parker Bowles to the Queen and Prince Philip

 When Charles and Diana divorced that year, the Prince of Wales began to appear at private functions alongside Camilla

 However, after Diana's tragic death in a 1997 Paris car crash, it was another two years before the royal pair were seen together openly and a further 18 months before the public saw an open kiss on the cheek

 A source told the Daily Mail in 2018 that Camilla "hasn't forgotten" how "deeply unhelpful" Andrew was in facilitating her acceptance into the royal family after Princess Diana's death

 They revealed: "Camilla has always felt Andrew could have done more.  "The Queen listens to Andrew and he could have helped his brother at a time when he had few allies within the family

 "In fact, I would go so far as to say he was deeply unhelpful when support would have meant a huge amount to her and the Prince

  "Looking back to when there was little public sympathy for Charles and Camilla, if not open hostility, it was a case of Andrew playing politics

Camilla hasn't forgotten." This alleged rift with Andrew sparked rumours as to the reason why Camilla did not attend the lavish wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in October 2018

 The Duke will celebrate London's Air Ambulance's 30th anniversary at a special event held at the Royal London Hospital

 William was an air ambulance pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance between 2015 and 2017

The Tottenham playmaker as been pivotal to Spurs' title challenge again this season and his importance to the side has only been furthered by the recent absences of Dele Alli and Harry Kane

The Danish star's contract with the club runs until June 2020 but Spurs are reportedly eager to tie down the midfielder amid interest from elsewhere

But according to his agent Martin Schoots, Eriksen is not likely to engage in negotiations any time soon

'Christian only wants to focus himself on football,' Schoots told ESPN.'Besides his technical, tactical and athletic skills, also this attitude has contributed over the years to his impressive transformation from world-class talent to world-class player

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN'S STATS THIS SEASON  33 7 (five in PL) 12 (nine in PL, second highest)  'At this moment I would prefer not to join the speculations about contracts and transfers

'Kane and Alli, along with coveted coach Mauricio Pochettino, have all signed new deals with the north London club this season

Eriksen meanwhile is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract and reports have suggested Real Madrid could make a move for him, with Marca suggesting the European champions could use Gareth Bale as a makeweight to any deal

People at home were thrilled when they saw the painting, which looks like it has been painted in a Dutch Masters style

Meghan and Prince Harry are currently expecting their first baby together, with the due date believed to be some time in April 2019

The Duchess of Sussex is now seven months pregnant, after revealing back in January she was six months into the pregnancy

Last weekend, Kate Middleton's sister-in-law is believed to have flown into New York City for a baby shower thrown by her friends, including her and Bey's mutual pal Serena Williams

According to the Mail Online, Meghan will be joined by 15 of her closest friends to celebrate becoming a mother at a hotel in New York

However, at seven months pregnant, some fans of the royal have been left concerned regarding how safe it is for Meghan to fly to New York while in her third trimester
