As per Sky Sports, Rangers linked Adam Lewis has opted against a switch to Scotland and instead signed a new deal with Liverpool that will see him contracted to the Anfield Stadium outfit for the long term
Although he is very versatile, the youngster's commitment to the Reds should come as bad news for one player in particular
On the chalkboard The 19-year-old has played in midfield for the development side this season but predominantly plays at left-back
Although yet to make his first team bow, the starlet has been a fixture in Neil Critchley's Under-23's squad

Having been capped by England at Under-19 and Under-20 level, the defender could have a bright future ahead of him and Jurgen Klopp has already shown that he is willing to begin integrating some of the youngsters into the starting XI
Could Lewis be the next to break through, albeit at the expense of Alberto Moreno? Jurgen Klopp has gotten quite inventive with his excuses this season. As it stands, Lewis could soon relegate Moreno the the reserves permanently with any more appearances this season surely unlikely but for injuries and suspensions
