Through this video we are going to explain a teaching experience
through which we show the results we can obtain
when the students have more knowledge than the teacher
in a specific subject.
The framework is the educative project "The Stone Age"
created by the teachers Ángel Cerdera, Cándido Martín Baz and Patrocinio Domínguez
in the "Maestro Haedo" Highschool in Zamora, Spain.
The objective of the project was to create educational materials
to teach how the prehistory and human evolution were.
The creation of this materials has been based on two main parts:
on one hand, we have ellaborated prehistorical artifacts
and on the other hand, we built a replica of a prehistorical cave
in which we had represented the main prehistorical paintings
from Spain and other countries.
On the frame of the cave project, the teacher talks with the student David Pérez
about including QR codes that link each prehistorical painting
with their explanations.
And why don't we create an interactive APP with the different audios and explainatory texts
about each of the prehistorical paintings in the exhibition?
To do so, it would be interesting to create a workgroup that would develop it.
And this was the result of our teamwork:
an audioguide application with explainatory multimedia resources
for each of the paintings that make up the cave.

What's more, the APP is linked with our YouTube channel,
where we upload educational videos, and some 360º ones as well.
And since we were so proud of the result of our app,
we decided to publish it in the Play Store
to spread its word and so that whoever wanted could enjoy the contents we had created.
And as we have seen, the app has provoked curiosity on the people
having been downloaded from lots of different countries.
But we're not fully happy with that:
we are going to promote our app through our Instagram account
to look for new collaborators and translate it to more languages.
We will also try to add new improvements
such as the capacity to download each audio at wish.
In summary, through this video we have managed to show
how a simple project based on creating several QR codes.
has evolved into the creation of a free plurilingual application
so that everybody can access the knowledge generated in the educative centre.
And all this development has been possible thanks to the knowledge that the students had,
not the teacher.
