New wording on handball is set to be introduced next week in an attempt to end confusion over 'deliberate' contact with the ball

Manchester City's win over Schalke in the Champions League on Wednesday was marred by controversy when the video assistant referee (VAR) awarded a penalty against Nicolas Otamendi for handball, even though the City defender appeared to be trying to get his arm out of the way

Last month, UEFA's chief refereeing office Roberto Rosetti said officials would penalise handballs if defenders used their arms to make their bodies 'bigger' but a new wording of the handball law will be passed at a meeting of the International FA Board (IFAB) in Aberdeen on March 2

David Elleray, the technical director of IFAB, told The Times: 'The new text will clarify those situations where players can expect contact with the arms to be penalised and where they can expect not to be penalised

It will significantly reduce the grey areas around handball.'We will be identifying those areas were non-deliberate contact will be penalised and when it won't be

'There will still of course be a reference to deliberate handball, there has never been any discussion about getting rid of that, and any deliberate handball will be penalised in any situation

'The referee initially gave a corner after the ball deflected off Otamendi but Schalke's claims of handball were eventually backed up by the VAR after a confusing delay of more than three minutes

There was no clarity on whether Otamendi had handled deliberately and, adding to the farce, the referee could not review the incident himself as the pitchside monitor was broken

Liverpool news: Andy Robertson reveals what Reds need to be WARY of ahead of Man Utd clash - Duration: 2:30.

The Reds travel to Old Trafford to take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's revitalised United side on Sunday in one of the most highly-anticipated fixtures on the footballing calendar.

Klopp's men still lead the Premier League, but have only won one of their last three games and a 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday didn't help to build any momentum either.

United, on the other hand, will be desperate to scupper their rival's chances of claiming their first league title in 29 years with a victory at the weekend.

They were also on the receiving end of a 3-1 defeat to the Anfield side in December, and will now be highly motivated to gain revenge on their rivals.

The likes of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have enjoyed a stunning return to form since the last defeat, with the pair bagging 15 goals between since that particular game on December 16.

It's for this reason that Liverpool defender Robertson is concerned about the new threat the Red Devils pose, and he expects them to be an improved team since their last encounter.

"You look at their teamsheet or squad list and it's full of stars," Robertson said. "They came to the party and they have a fantastic team.

"It's always a big game against them, but it's a huge one because they're a different team playing some really good football. I think we need to be wary of them.

"We know what we're coming up against and we need to stop their danger-men but hopefully we've got enough to cause them problems as well to get the result that we need."

Roberton will be hopeful Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino can return to form to fire Liverpool to victory over United.

The attacking trio have been a resounding success so far at Anfield, but they have struggled of late to find the net, scoring just four goals throughout all of February to date.

They will have a difficult task of finding the goal against the Red Devils as well, with Solskjaer's side keeping a clean-sheet in three of their last four fixtures.

United have enjoyed 11 victories from 13 games under the Norwegian's management, and they will be confident of extending that on Sunday infront a home crowd.

Following the game against each other, United will travel to Selhurst Park on Wednesday for a match against Crystal Palace while Liverpool host Watford on the same night.

A skier with a group of friends at a backcountry jump in Utah accidentally triggered an avalanche when he fell capturing a terrifying slide down the mountain before his complete burial in snow

The skiers were near Guardsman's Pass near Park City, Utah, on Saturday where the companions had been doing jumps in the canyon earlier, until the unfortunate member of the group, who wished to remain unidentified, fell, according to FOX 13 Salt Lake City

'I'll remember that moment when the day switched,' said Colby Stevenson, 21, a professional competitive skier

'I watched him roll over the jump. All the sudden I see this avalanche and I'm like, 'oh, slide!''The helmet cam captured the moment the perspective abruptly flips over and a chaos of snow is kicked up

Stevenson could only look on as his friend was carried down the slope amid all that snow

'He let go of his poles and he was swimming through the avalanche to keep his head up,' Stevenson told FOX

 'Right as the slide comes to a stop, I'm skiing over there, full panic, adrenaline through the roof, just wanting to save my friend

'The avalanche carried the his friend approximately 200 feet past rocks and trees lining the mountainside until it fully buried him

'It was scary. I didn't know how to think straight really,' said John Brown, 24, another ski pro who also witnessed his friend carried away by the snow slide

The skiers spotted the tip of a ski during their immediate search for their friend

'When I hit his leg for the first time he started screaming,' Stevenson said, the muffled screams chillingly recorded on the cam footage

'It was very frantic we were just going to dig until his head was free and he could breathe

' He was buried cemented snow for 75 seconds before his rescuers were able to free him from the icy burial

'We dug his head out and I'm like, "I'm sorry I hit you in the head,"' Brown recalled, 'and he's like, "that was the best feeling in my life is just getting hit in the head with a shovel

"'The rescued skier was lucky to have two competitive pro-skiers with years of experience in Colby Stevenson and John Brown in his group carrying the necessary equipment to save his life

 Erica decided to undergo surgery on the encouragement of her boyfriend - but has been left devastated by the result

 Appearing on TV show Botched, Erica told doctors that the bad boob job had left her with uneven breasts and a suspicious fluid leaking from them

 After requiring surgery to remove a benign lump in her breasts, her then-boyfriend suggested she receive implants at the same time

 "Occasionally in plastic surgery, a patient is doing a procedure to make a relative or a boyfriend happy," Dr Terry Dubrow explained

 "That's an enormous red flag! A plastic surgeon should never operate on a patient under those circumstances

"  After several procedures, Erica found she still had her benign lump - and now had discharge emanating from her nipple too

 Deciding that she had both a 'serious cosmetic issue and a serious medical, physical, functional issue', Dr Dubrow decided to investigate

 "Right now, you have a problem and we need to be problem solvers! Right?" he told her

 He recommended that she have the implants removed, so natural breast tissue could be used to rectify the issue

 During surgery, Dr Dubrow and his team found many surprises - including 'gross fluid' and several suspicious masses - in Erica's breasts

 But they were able to give her two symmetrical, implant-free breasts.  Erica was delighted with the final result, and said: "After my surgery, my breasts finally feel normal! I no longer have this leaking lump

 "I'm ready to let go of the hurt from my past relationship and move on with my life
