I understand that the most important factor is a high degree of professionalism
at all levels and tiers of the company.
I was studying a Higher Diploma in Electronics, and due to my circumstances I needed
a job that I could combine with my studies while continuing to train.
The position that I wanted or that I wanted to train myself for was mechanical design engineer
and this is a company with very complex machines, which showed great potential
for developing my career.
It gives you job stability because it has a very well-established market and a very high
volume of orders.
It is not a company where you start off as an official assembler and that's where you are for the rest of your life.
Here you have an outlook where you can be trained by other workers.
They continue to give you more responsibilities.
A solid team that is concerned with improving day by day,
and which is also committed to training and integrating new additions.
If we give them a professional career and attend to all their needs, the truth is that
success is guaranteed.
I don't know if it really matters where you start, but rather where you want to go.
The most important thing is desire, the desire to do.
I think my development has been very satisfactory as I have managed to stay at the company as an employee.
You start to generate value for other people by contributing to the manufacture of
a quality machine tool that afterwards will be used to manufacture components for other
machines such as cars, aeroplanes, household appliances, medical equipment… ultimately,
a series of elements that are necessary for society.
Above all, I believe in commitment, excitement, a business focus and a desire to keep learning
to be able to develop.
We have a very low staff turnover, which contributes to keeping the experience and
the know-how within the company, and this is a very important factor as a basis
of technological development.
The product manufactured is theirs,
and they also want to know that what the client will receive is something that has been well made.
They are large, well prepared machines, and we are very well trained.
So, you simply go and do the work well.
Anyone who wants to go further always buys a CMZ, always.
And when they buy one, they always buy more.
When they put their trust in what I say, and they finally buy a CMZ, and when they get it,
they are very, very satisfied with the machine.
I go over the machine process from start to finish.

I've learned to work in a team because at CMZ we work as a team.
For me it involves personal satisfaction, and I think that the people I work with
are also in this situation.

The most important thing about the company is the people who form it.
I started here aged 20, and over 43, 45 years of being active, I've been in three
three positions basically.
Nostalgia, excitement, joy… everything really.
It's the most important value that we have at CMZ.

always through straightforward communication, but another of the most important things is
the technical group.
The launch of an A-Z project, because we created this company from
0 in 2004 and 14 years later we have achieved success.
I've been working here for 6 years.
We started from nothing. Although we were present in the market, we weren't CMZ, we were
"the importer".
From there, I think we've achieved great things and this is very satisfying.
I am the general manager of CMZ's German subsidiary, and working with CMZ is something really special.
We are a company that operates as a pure family company in an industry dominated
by large businesses.
I was a kid. 18 years old.
And well.
I was just another worker.
It was my dad who was in charge.
I worked on the lathe, the cutting tool, the filing machine, the drill, whatever it was… assembly, painting…
everything.
There were 13 manufacturers of filing machines in Spain, and that's why I started making lathes.
Then we saw that numerical control lathes were coming, and so we wanted to get there, but
we couldn't due to lack of knowledge.
When the children came to work, I gave them my hand and I said stay there with your
achievements and your mistakes, because I'm not going to tell you to do anything.
But look, they have knowledge.
It's still a family business where you recognise a lot of people, and people
aren't just another number.
