 After an impressive pre-season, Smith Rowe made his senior debut for Arsenal in the Europa League in September

 He then went on to play five more times and scored three goals. Injury has meant the 18-year-old hasn't played since November 29

 But in a bid to give Smith Rowe more first-team experience, the Independent say the teen star is on the verge of joining RB Leipzig

 The report says manager Unai Emery has given his blessing for the deal to go ahead and the player is on his way to Germany to complete the move

 Smith Rowe's move to Germany follows Reiss Nelson's season-long loan at Hoffenheim

 In December, Smith Rowe opened up on what Emery had been asking of him. "The manager has done one-to-one stuff with me a few times after training, working on one-v-one attacking and just being patient," Smith Rowe told Sky Sports

 "The assistant manager [Juan Carlos Carcedo] has been helping me a lot too with turning on the ball when I play in the No 10 position

 "It's good to get that help on the pitch, so I can actually practise it, instead of in the classroom

 "But even in the classroom they have both had one-on-ones with me which I've found really useful

" Meanwhile, Arsenal appear to have completed a deal for Denis Suarez. At around 5pm, Barcelona released a statement on their website which said a loan deal for Suarez had been agreed

 But within 30 mins, the article had been removed from Barcelona's website. It's understood the statement was published in error but the deal for Suarez will still go ahead and Arsenal will announce the transfer on Thursday

Liverpool news: Rio Ferdinand notices one thing Jurgen Klopp must address after Leicester - Duration: 2:30.

 That is according to BT Sport pundit and former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand

 Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Leicester at Anfield and missed out on the chance of extending their lead at the top of the table to seven points

 Sadio Mane gave the hosts the dream start, opening the scoring with a fine finish after just three minutes

 But Harry Maguire equalised for Leicester just before half time and the scores remained the same until the end of the match

 And Ferdinand says the Anfield crowd was anxious as well as the players. "I think they looked nervous," he said

 "Bar the first few minutes where they got the early goal, I think the crowd were nervous

 "That fed into the players and that's something that I think Klopp, won't be worried about, but will address that I'm sure in the coming days

" Liverpool still made up one point on Manchester City after their shock loss to Newcastle on Tuesday

 And with his former side sitting five points clear at the top of the table, Michael Owen says there are plenty of positives to take

 "Well I always try to look at the positives," Owen said. "From this midweek set of fixtures, if you had said Manchester City were going to lose and Liverpool were going to draw, everyone around here would have snapped your hand off

 "So you've got to look at it as a positive midweek set of results. "They've gone an extra point clear in the league and I think that's what they'll be focussing on

 "But, as you say, there as a little bit of anxiousness, little bit of nervousness around and Jurgen Klopp won't want that to feed into the team

 "There's still a long way to go."

" Moves for Bailly and Mata might not look too likely, but Denis Suarez appears to be inbound

 Barcelona confirmed his exit earlier today before swiftly deleting the announcement

 In a statement, Barcelona said: "FC Barcelona and Denis Suarez have reached an agreement for the extension of the player's contract with the club, which ended on 30 June 2020, until 30 June 2021

 "FC Barcelona have also agreed a loan deal for Suárez with Arsenal for the remainder of the 2018/19 season

 "The Premier League club will pay the player's salary during this time and the agreement includes an option to buy

 "The Galician midfielder puts an end to his second spell at Barca after featuring for Barca B in the 2013/14 season and for the first team since the summer of 2016

 After loan spells with Sevilla and Villarreal, Barça exercised the buy-back clause in his contact for him to return to Camp Nou

 "In total, Denis Suarez played 71 goals official matches in three seasons with the first team at FC Barcelona

He managed to score 8 goals and has won five trophies: a league, two Copas del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups

With Barça B he made 36 appearances." Suarez has been a bit-part player at the Nou Camp this season

 He has made just two La Liga appearances and isn't fancied by Ernesto Valverde.
