Tielemans news, Janssen exit, transfer hope, incoming stadium update - Spurs Q&A - Duration: 2:28.

There are just over two days remaining until the transfer window closes shut and the big question is whether Tottenham Hotspur will sign anyone before it does

Mauricio Pochettino explained today at his press conference that the club seemed close to a couple of "options" a couple of days ago but then he was not as optimistic on Tuesday

However, he did admit that "much can happen" late in the window and that also opportunities could arise for players to leave

After the Argentine's press conference on Tuesday afternoon at Hotspur Way ahead of the Watford match, our Tottenham reporter Alasdair Gold took part in a Facebook Live Q&A

He gave the full lowdown on Pochettino's passionate display during the press conference, including his declaration that he will "stick with this club until the end", as well as answering questions about transfer news concerning the likes of Monaco's Youri Tielemans and Leeds United's Jack Clarke, as well as a potential exit for Vincent Janssen and the latest on the club's new stadium

The video of the Q&A is up at the top of the page. Do have a watch and leave some questions as comments below this story and we'll endeavour to answer them in the next edition

After Empire star, Jussie Smollett, 35, was brutally beaten in Chicago on January 29 — in an attack that police tell HollywoodLife they are treating as a possible hate crime — Hollywood is rallying around him. "I'm deeply horrified and saddened by the racist and homophobic attacks against @JussieSmollett. He is a kind and profoundly talented soul whom I respect with all my heart. The terror of racism and homophobia has no place in our society, it is the most indecent way to live," Strong wrote on Twitter.

In a second tweet, he added: "… whoever did this, do not forget that you are nothing but hate filled cowards while Jussie's talent and activism will continue to shine a bright light on to the world for decades to come" GLAAD — an American non-governmental media monitoring organization founded by LGBT people in the media released the following statement. "GLAAD reached out to FOX and Jussie's team today to offer assistance as well as support for him. Jussie is a true champion for LGBTQ people and is beloved by the community and allies around the world."

News24 - Man Utd transfer news: Guillem Balague confirms midfielder exit deal has been struck - Duration: 2:20.

That's according to transfer expert Guillem Balague who claims the Belgian will exit Old Trafford

Fellaini is said to have agreed a £7million move to the Chinese Super League although no club has been specified

The central midfielder has not been a regular under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic first choice

And Balague has been told a deal taking Fellaini away from Manchester United is 'done and dusted'

He tweeted: "Just been told Fellaini to China is all done and dusted.  "He will get €11m annual net

Transfer fee is £7m #MUFC."  Fellaini has made 21 appearances in all competitions this season for United, netting two goals in the process

But the 31-year-old does not fit into the quick, attacking style of play Solskjaer is trying to implement at Old Trafford

Despite the claims, the Norwegian had said Fellaini had a role to play at United

"There's X factor in different players," he said.  "And we all know Felli's X factor and then again he'll be working hard to get back in when all the big games are coming as well

"  United are next in action against Burnley tonight (7.45pm).     The Red Devils won 2-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season

Fellaini will not play tonight as he is currently out with a calf injury.  Solskjaer is looking for his ninth straight win after replacing Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford

Newcastle transfer news: Miguel Almiron due on Tyneside TONIGHT to complete £20.5m deal - Duration: 2:36.

The Paraguay international, who help ed his club win the MLS title last season, is flying into Tyneside tonight to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical after the two clubs agreed a fee.

But Toon officials are confident Almiron will have signed on the dotted line before Thursday's transfer deadline.

He is set to become the costliest player in Newcastle's history, beating the £16m the club paid Real Madrid for Michael Owen in 2005.

And his arrival would end Rafa Benitez' search for a quality No. 10 and go a long way towards satisfying the Toon chief's demands.

Newcastle are also closing in on a deal to sign Benifica midfielder Andreas Samaris on loan for the rest of the season.

Less than 24 hours after Benitez claimed he didn't know if the Magpies would strengthen their squad before Thursday's 11pm deadline, it has emerged that Samaris could be joining the club in the next 24 hours.

Samaris was a Toon target last summer but the club were reluctant to sanction a permanent deal for someone who would have little re-sale value.

And there could be a third new recruit with Monaco left-back Antonio Barreca understood to be Newcastle-bound.

Barreca was on the Toon's hitlist earlier this month but interest cooled when the club moved in for Lazio's Jordan Lukaku.

However when the Belgium defender's move collapsed last Friday, Newcastle got back in touch with Barreca's representatives to revive the deal.

It is Almiron's imminent arrival which will delight Benitez most of all, having identified the South American as the creative player the Magpies require to boost their attacking options.

Atlanta had been holding out for more than £20m for the 24-year-old but with the clock ticking, got in touch with Newcastle saying they would accept the bid on the table.

Like Almiron, midfielder Samaris is someone who has been on Benitez' radar for months.

He wanted to buy the Greek international last summer but the club would not sanction a permanent deal.

Now it looks as if he will have three new players for the survival fight ahead.

And the fact that the club have finally got their act together in the transfer market could have positive developments in relation to Benitez' long-term future at St James' Park.

He had become increasingly frustrated and at the pre-match press conference ahead of tonight's home game against Manchester City, even refused to rule out quitting before his contract expires in the summer.

Liverpool News - Klopp admits surprise at stunning start to Premier League season - Duration: 3:09.

Jurgen Klopp insists he did not think it was possible for Liverpool to be four points clear of Manchester City at this stage before the season began

Pep Guardiola's City side were almost flawless in their run to winning the Premier League title in 2017-18 and yet they go into Tuesday's match against Newcastle United four adrift of Klopp's high-flyers

Liverpool have never gone on to lift a Premier League title since its formation in 1992 and there is a growing sense that with 15 games to go, Klopp can make history as the first manager to bring the trophy to Anfield

'If somebody would have told me at the beginning of the season we'd be four points ahead of City after playing them twice and Arsenal twice I'd have said that's not possible,' the German boss told BBC News

'Let's enjoy the moment, let's enjoy the ride and let's go for everything. We don't set limits for us

'Having lost to City at the Etihad Stadium on January 3, both sides know they can ill-afford to drop any more points and risk losing touch with their rival

Liverpool have three of the top six still to play but will be buoyed by the fact that both Chelsea and Tottenham have to make the trip to Anfield

Leicester City are the visitors on Wednesday night and City, should they take maximum points in the north east 24 hours earlier, could pile the pressure on Liverpool sitting just a point behind

For Klopp, the pressure is not something he can take enjoyment from. 'I don't really enjoy that, not the situation that you can go for this and that,' he said

'Football isn't the most important thing in the world but it feels like that now

' Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Klopp added: 'I expect City to beat Newcastle, but I will still watch it because we play Newcastle as well

'I can only speak for myself, but I don't sit in front of the TV and think (damn) when they score or whatever

I really believe that you have to do your own work, your own job if you want to have something

'Don't be concentrated on other teams, it doesn't help. I expect to be one point up before the game tomorrow, and that doesn't bother me

'
