Well, let's start!
The movie that got the 5th place in Brazil is:
"Nothing to Lose" which tells the story about the evangelical bishop Edir Macedo,
who is the founder of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God and owner of Record TV network.
The movie grossed $32,995,668 in Brazil.
The movie that got the 5th place in Japan is:
"Fantastic Beasts: The crimes of Grindelwald"!
The movie grossed $58,937,991 in Japan.
I really liked the 1st movie but unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to watch the 2nd movie of this trilogy
that is based on J.K.Rowling's work.
The movie that got the 4th place in Brazil is:
"Aquaman"!
The gross of the movie was $35,130,289 in Brazil.
DC movies are always a hit in Brazil and it wasn't different with Aquaman.
That's a movie that I'm looking forward to watch soon...
as I'm curious to check James Wan's direction.
who is famous for his horror films, so, it'd be cool to see what he has done in a super hero movie!
The 4th place in Japan goes to the movie:
"Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom"!
I love the franchise and it seems to be quite popular in Japan too.
Every time they release a movie, it'll become a hit in Japan.
The gross of the movie was $72,322,055 only in Japan!
The 3rd place in Brazil goes to the movie:
"Black Panther" which the gross of the movie was $36,942,425!
I remember that people talked a lot about this movie here in our country,
and I confess that I liked it too!
If I were a super hero, I certainly wanted my costume to be Okoye's style, full of accessories and super stylish!
The world of Wakanda they created and the costumes are jaw-dropping material
and it was cool to have watched it on the big screen!
The 3rd place in Japan goes to the movie:
"Code Blue: the Movie"
It is a movie based on a Japanese dorama.
If you don't know what a dorama is,
it is like a TV series.
In this case, it's a medical drama.
Code Blue is a code that doctors and nurses use for a patient who changes his/her condition suddenly and needs urgent resuscitation.
If you enjoy these kind of genre, you might like this movie.
The gross of this movie was: $78,778,562 in Japan.
The 2nd place in Brazil goes to the movie:
"The Incredibles 2"!
I loved the 1st movie and I'm excited to know what is the next mission of this superheroes family!
The gross of this movie was: $37,575,760 in Brazil.
The 2nd place in Japan goes to the movie:
"Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer"
Detective Conan is a super popular manga/anime in Japan.
and it has been released 22 movies until today!
The franchise's box office record has been rising year by year,
and this last movie was the one that profited the most!
The gross of the movies was: $80,403,452 in Japan.
Detective Conan tells the story of a brilliant young detective who was turned into a child
by a mysterious criminal organization.
So Conan unravels the crimes and mysteries hoping that he will be able to get back to normal one day.
It was one of the anime I loved watching while I was living in Japan
and it seems that the popularity of the work remains steady and strong.
The movie that has shined in the 1st place in Brazil is:

"Avengers: Infinity War"
Marvel enchanting the Brazilians as always! xD
I'm not a big fan of the previous Avengers movies but I loved the Infinity War!
I like it so much that I did a review on the channel.
Thanos is one of the most interesting villains in the Marvel's movies
and I can't wait to check the next Avengers movie!
The gross of this movie was: $66,684,469 in Brazil!
The box office champion in Japan was the movie:
"Bohemian Rhapsody"!
Japan loves Queen but I did not imagine that
the movie would be the box office champion in the land of the rising sun.
But I found it so awesome because it was one of the films that I enjoyed the most of 2018 too!
Yes, there is a review on the channel in case anyone would want to check it out.
Watching this work on the big screen and listening to Queen's hits on decent sound equipment was such an incredible experience
and it seems like many Japanese people wanted to have that experience too!
The gross of this movie was $88,631,919 in Japan!
almost $ 22 million more than the UK itself.
Well, that was the top 5 box office champions in Japan and Brazil.

In Brazil, you can see that 4 of the 5 movies, has the superhero theme.
As for Japan, you could see movies of various genres making to the top 5 and the national movies always present in the rankings.
