" Moves for Bailly and Mata might not look too likely, but Denis Suarez appears to be inbound

 Barcelona confirmed his exit earlier today before swiftly deleting the announcement

 In a statement, Barcelona said: "FC Barcelona and Denis Suarez have reached an agreement for the extension of the player's contract with the club, which ended on 30 June 2020, until 30 June 2021

 "FC Barcelona have also agreed a loan deal for Suárez with Arsenal for the remainder of the 2018/19 season

 "The Premier League club will pay the player's salary during this time and the agreement includes an option to buy

 "The Galician midfielder puts an end to his second spell at Barca after featuring for Barca B in the 2013/14 season and for the first team since the summer of 2016

 After loan spells with Sevilla and Villarreal, Barça exercised the buy-back clause in his contact for him to return to Camp Nou

 "In total, Denis Suarez played 71 goals official matches in three seasons with the first team at FC Barcelona

He managed to score 8 goals and has won five trophies: a league, two Copas del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups

With Barça B he made 36 appearances." Suarez has been a bit-part player at the Nou Camp this season

 He has made just two La Liga appearances and isn't fancied by Ernesto Valverde.

A week later, however, that policy remains blocked because one federal judge has so far failed to lift a lingering injunction that some parties involved in the case forgot even existed. Judge George Russell of the US District Court for the District of Maryland last fall.

But perhaps because that particular court case seemed to lag behind others, the Justice Department didnt bring it to the Supreme Courts attention. Instead it focused on cases from the West Coast.

The Supreme Courts unsigned 5 4 order took no stance on the legality of the ban, first proposed in a surprise tweet by Trump in 2017, but allowed it to take effect while legal challenges proceed.

After the Supreme Courts order, the Defense Department said it was "critical" that the Department be "permitted to formulate personnel policies that it determines are necessary to ensure the most lethal and combat effective fighting force in the world."

But then the Pentagon alerted to the fact that there was still an outstanding injunction in Maryland. "The Department of Justice is consulting with the Department of Justice on next steps," Lt. Col Carla M. Gleason of Defense Press Operations said in a statement last Tuesday.

The Justice Department has asked Russell to lift his order and dissolve the case.

"In light of the Supreme Courts order, this court should immediately dissolved" its injunction, DOJ lawyers argued.

In response, the ACLU told the court that it agreed that it would be appropriate for Russell to put the nationwide injunction on hold, but the lawyers also asked him to exempt the 14 named plaintiffs from the ban because of their specific circumstances. Some have been working closely with recruiters and medical boards and believe they are on the cusp of being able to enlist.
