That is the opinion of ESPN FC pundit and former Major League Soccer star Alejandro Moreno

Ozil has hit the headlines in the last few days after reportedly falling out with new head coach Emery in training on Friday

The former Germany international missed the 3-1 Premier League win over West Ham on Saturday

But Emery has denied claims of a falling out between himself and Ozil, saying the 29-year-old attacking midfielder was ill

Ozil has often been criticised for his performances at Arsenal but signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract in January to make him the club's highest ever paid player on £350,000-a-week

Moreno cannot see how Emery can change the type of footballer Ozil is at his age

But he says Ozil is too good to be pushed aside and left out of the team. "It's always difficult when a new manager comes in and you have, essentially, an elephant in the room," Moreno said

"And that in this case is Mesut Ozil, because the guy just re-signed, and he's making a chunk of money and he has been comfortable for many years

"And if you're Unai Emery, you're trying to work in a way in which you can use the talent of this player and you can use his abilities

"But if he doesn't fit your mentality, if he doesn't fit the psychology of the team that you want to implement, if he doesn't fit your overall plans, then it becomes that idea of a little give and take

"You're not going to change, at this point in his career, what Mesut Ozil is. "And so, do you work around it? Or do you simply say 'we're not going to use you'? "I think he's too good of a player to just say 'we're not going to use you'

"And I don't think that Arsenal is good enough of a team to just say 'you know what Mesut? We don't need you'

" It remains to be seen whether Ozil will return to the Arsenal squad for the trip to Cardiff this Sunday

Real Madrid transfer news: Mariano deal 'AGREED' despite Sevilla settlement - report - Duration: 3:36.

Real Madrid have exercised their first refusal option on Mariano to bring him back to the Bernabeu

That was after Sevilla settled on a transfer fee with Lyon over the striker. Sevilla were willing to pay around £36m for Mariano in a deal that would have earned Real £9m

That is because the Bernabeu club inserted a sell-on clause in the player's contract when he left for Lyon last summer

Real are due 35 per cent of any profit Lyon make on the transfer and a deal with Sevilla was said to be getting close

But Spanish newspaper El Pais claim Real have now muscled in on the deal between Sevilla and the French side

According to the report, Mariano will now return to Real after they exercised a repurchase option worth £20m (€22m)

El Pais claim the transfer dealings were rushed through on Monday evening as Real moved to make sure he didn't end up at Sevilla

A meeting between parties both Real and Lyon are set for Tuesday, where the details of the transfer will be ironed out

"Real Madrid have a buy option they are going to exercise," Sevilla president Jose Castro told reporters

"But we still have no communication from the player, who has told us that he wanted to play with Sevilla again and again

He has the ability to say one thing or another. "We negotiated with Lyon and then they have 48 hours to decide

Real Madrid did it.  "Am I annoyed with Real Madrid? Not at all, this is football

We have to keep working. "We have done what we had to do, in good faith, with an agent and a player who tells us on videos and audios that he only wants to play in Sevilla

" El Pais claim Julen Lopetegui personally called Mariano on Monday to confirm his interest and gauge the reaction of the player

Mariano never wanted to leave the Bernabeu and has jumped at the chance to return

The forward scored 21 goals in 45 games for Lyon last season - his first campaign away from Spanish football

The transfer windows of both Spain and France close on Friday. Real are looking for striker options after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus this summer in a £105m deal

Lopetegui has been granted permission to spend that cash, bringing in Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea and Real Sociedad's Alvaro Odriozola

Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho could be sacked by the end of the week - pundit - Duration: 2:32.

That is the opinion of ESPN FC pundit and former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol. Mourinho is under pressure at Manchester United after successive defeats in the Premier League

The shock 3-2 loss at Brighton was followed by a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham at Old Trafford on Monday

Mourinho is the favourite with the bookies to be the next manager to lose his job in the Premier League

The Portuguese was unhappy with the club's lack of transfer business in the summer and performances on the pitch have reflected his opinion the squad was not strong enough

And speaking on ESPN FC Extra Time on Monday night, Liverpool legend Nicol admitted he could not see Jose Mourinho lasting much longer at United

"How long is this segment?," Nicol asked. "Has he got that long? He could be gone by the time we've finished this segment

"I wouldn't be shocked if he was gone. End of the week, I wouldn't be shocked. Absolute shambles

" Mourinho walked out of his post-match press conference on Monday, claiming he was not being shown enough respect from a journalist

He pointed out that he has won more Premier League titles, three, than the rest of the managers in the top flight combined

And Nicol says United and Mourinho are currently in "turmoil". "He just got beat 3-0 at home, the place is an absolute shambles, the place is in turmoil and he's clapping the fans," Nicol added

"And in the press conference, the only thing he'll talk about is how he's won three Premier League titles

"What does that tell you about what he's thinking?" United's next league outing is against Sean Dyche's Burnley this Sunday
