Waching daily Aug 30 2018

The Brazil winger has his head in the clouds at the moment after a stunning display at Old Trafford earlier this week

He scored twice in a famous 3-0 win for Tottenham against Manchester United, where they had not scored in the previous five games they had played at the ground

It has underlined Spurs' Premier League title ambitions but not everything was going as swimmingly for Moura as it is now

The 26-year-old signed for the north London outfit in January from Paris St-Germain after failing to break back into the first-team

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe arrived the summer before, and the stellar names kept the likes of Moura rotting on the bench

And the former Sao Paulo attacker has opened up on his PSG hell.He said: "It was very hard, the worst seven months of my life

I came from a very good season, I was second top scorer of the team, only behind Cavani

"The following season, I wasn't even called up."I used to go to practice, I wasn't even in the game

I used to go back home."Anyway, it was very difficult. But I kept working hard, strong

And God gave me the best gift of life, my son. Moura is not the only player that has not always seen eye to eye with Emery

The Spaniard also had problems with Edinson Cavani and Neymar during his time at Parc des Princes

Breaking News - Karolina Muchova puts Garbine Muguruza out of US Open - Duration: 1:56.

Czech qualifier Karolina Muchova stunned two-times Grand Slam champion Garbine Muguruza at the US Open on Wednesday, dumping the Spaniard out in the second round with a three-set victory

Muchova, who came into the match against the 12th seed with a world ranking of 202, was understandably nervous from the outset but grew into the contest and eventually prevailed 3-6 6-4 6-4 in two hours and 27 minutes

Muguruza, a former world No 1 who has triumphed at Wimbledon and the French Open, showed plenty of her Grand Slam pedigree by racing into a 5-0 lead as she appeared on course for a routine victory

The Spaniard closed out the opener in 37 minutes and few of those watching the match unfold would have predicted what was to follow

Muchova, playing in the main draw of a Grand Slam for the first time, quickly turned the tables at the start of the second set, evening up the contest after she opened a 3-0 lead on the back of some brave shot-making

'It's the first match for me on such a big stadium so I was feeling nervous. Somehow I got used to it, I don't know how,' the 22-year-old said in a courtside interview

'I don't even know. I was surviving but I think the (fans) helped me a lot.' After she settled, Muchova displayed an adept ability to mix up her play, slogging it out from the baseline before picking the right moments to charge the net

Muguruza, a traditional baseliner, tried to change her tactics to regain the initiative but Muchova kept her at bay with a selection of passing shots and lobs every time the Spaniard ventured forward

Overall, Muchova hit eight aces and 41 winners as she rallied from a break down in the deciding set to seal victory and claim the biggest win of her career as the clock ticked past 1am at the Louis Armstrong Stadium

Next up for the Czech is a third-round meeting with Australian 18th seed Ashleigh Barty

Arsenal news : Gunners fans think Aubameyang should REPLACE Cech in goal – this is why | AFC News - Duration: 1:56.

Petr Cech has some unlikely competition at Arsenal – in the form of Pierre-Emerick

Aubameyang.

After securing their first win of the season last weekend against West Ham, Arsenal are

busy preparing for their Premier League clash with Cardiff on Sunday.

And during a training session at London Colney this week, hitman Aubameyang decided to swap

positions.

Rather than practicing his shooting skills, the Gabon international decided to take his

place between the sticks with brilliant results.

The striker manager to make some fantastic saves and Arsenal supporters were all quick

to make the same comment.

"Cech replacement," one fan said.

Another supporter wrote: "Bench Cech."

A third fan said: "Cech is out!"

Meanwhile on supporter thought Cech wasn't the only one who could lose his place in goal

to Aubameyang.

"Petr and Bernd have some competition," they commented.

Another fan wrote: "He is better than Cech lol."

Team-mate Alexandre Lacazette has recently opened up on his relationship with Aubameyang

on the pitch.

"Every day, like I said, we talk, we laugh a lot, we work together when we are on the

pitch," said Lacazette.

"I like to be with Auba.

He's a good guy.

"I'm not asking the coach or telling him, 'I want to play with Auba' or something

like that.

"He knows we can play well together and then afterwards, he makes his decision."

Arsenal News: Unai Emery enforces big rule change in crackdown after Arsene Wenger regime - Duration: 2:46.

Former boss Arsene Wenger was a nutritional revolutionary when he arrived in England in 1996

But the Frenchman had significantly softened his stance on food intake by the time he left the club at the end of last season

Emery has made sweeping changes in an attempt to improve the performance of the squad he inherited from Wenger

According to The Mirror, the Spaniard's primary change is to ban fruit juice and replace it with water

The former Paris St-Germain boss has also placed restrictions on the use of mobile phones during mealtimes

The aim is to improve relationships between players by making them interact with each other more

Another change to mealtimes sees the under-23s and under-18s eat alongside the senior side

This presumably is done to foster strong relations between the young talent and older players

Emery has also opted to take a far more hands-on approach in training sessions than Wenger did during his tenure at Arsenal

The Frenchman often delegated training work to assistant manager Steve Bould while he focused more on the bigger picture

Emery has spoken about how he hopes to evolve Arsenal's philosophy from the foundations left by Wenger

"Arsenal play possession football and throughout my career," he said. "I've always been a coach who wants possession

There is something I would like to add to my philosophy, that I like to win the ball back as quickly as possible

"So it's about two things: possession and pressing. What I want is for Arsenal to transmit energy and emotion to the fans

The Gunners take on newly-promoted Cardiff this weekend as they look to make it back-to-back Premier League wins

Arsenal hope to have Mesut Ozil back after he missed the win over West Ham with an illness

Chelsea news: Pat Nevin identifies Maurizio Sarri's 'wild card' star - Duration: 3:17.

That's the verdict of Stamford Bridge hero Pat Nevin, who's hailed the Spaniard's performance against Newcastle last weekend

Alonso rocked up at Chelsea at the end of the 2016 summer transfer window as Antonio Conte sought to bolster his defence

But it is his attacking prowess which he has become known for, raiding down the left-flank and complementing the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian

Alonso's forward-minded approach saw him win a penalty for Sarri's Chelsea against Newcastle last weekend, while his shot was deflected in by DeAndre Yedelin for the Blues' late winner

Nevin, who made 193 appearances in five years at Chelsea, has now offered a glowing take on the former Real Madrid youngster

"What was interesting was the role of Marcos Alonso in the outcome, he is still one of our wild cards," Nevin wrote for Chelsea's official website

"As Chelsea have changed to a 4-3-3 formation it was widely thought that Alonso would have to curtail his more attacking instincts, which were so apparent when he played as a wing-back over the past few seasons

"Well it would appear that nobody has got round to informing him! "At Newcastle he won the penalty, hit the shot from the right-hand side that eventually struck Yedlin to win the game, he has been overlapping constantly since the start of the season and he hasn't stopped attacking the back post when our play is going up the right-hand side

"There has been much chat about the full-back role in the current game, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City all having players there who are lauded every week on the TV and radio

"There is no complaint from me there as I have been one of those extolling the virtues of Benjamin Mendy at City and Andrew Robertson at Liverpool, but in a golden age of attacking left-backs, Marcos Alonso should not be ignored for the effect he has on games

"Even though we had plenty of players on good form against Newcastle and Eden was brilliant, particularly when he was fresh in the first half, I gave Marcos the man-of-the-match on the radio station I was working for

"Reports of the death of his attacking role have clearly been exaggerated." Alonso has now scored 15 goals and laid on 10 assists for his team-mates since joining Chelsea from Fiorentina

And he will be eager to make his mark once again when they return to Premier League action this weekend

Chelsea sit third going into Saturday's clash with Bournemouth having collected nine points from their opening three games
