The Frenchman is still trying to force a move away from Parkhead before tonight's transfer deadline
Dembele has been linked with a host of clubs, most notably Lyon and Marseille in recent days
The former have confirmed their interest and are working hard to try and negotiate a deal with Celtic before midnight, despite Rodgers' refusal to sell
But according to Get French Football News, Dembele is very upset as Rodgers is blocking his move to Lyon
Lyon are confident they can secure Dembele's signature by the time the deadline passes this evening
President Jean-Michel Aulas said last night: "It's very complicated with Celtic for Moussa Dembele
"We will make sure to negotiate well tonight and we hope that the reason will prevail, that we will have a new player to complete the transfer window
" Dembele is training with Celtic's first-team squad this morning. Get French Football News add that Rodgers told the striker to leave Celtic in January, talking up the likes of West Brom and Brighton who had expressed an interest
The former Liverpool boss reportedly spoke highly of Seagulls boss Chris Hughton in the hope of persuading Dembele to return to England
Get French Football News also claim Rodgers told the 22-year-old to accept a deal from a Chinese Super League club last summer
Dembele has also been told Celtic 'is not big enough for him' but is now unhappy after being told he can no longer leave the Scottish giants
Rodgers doesn't want to sell the former Fulham striker without bringing in a replacement
This means Celtic may be forced to launch a late bid for Kilmarnock striker Jordan Jones, should Dembele's Lyon move go through
Jones is being tracked by Rangers, who are reportedly ready to launch a £500,000 bid for his services
