Arsenal have already signed a goal keeper and a defender to strengthen things at the
back.
Now, manager Unai Emery must splash the cash to reinforce the attack as well.
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the Gunners are linked with
Spanish international and Real Madrid playmaker Lucas Vazquez.
According to Spanish source OK Diario, the north Londoners have made an irresistible
move to agree terms with the 26-year-old attacker by offering him a salary, which is way more
than what he currently gets.
The Spanish source have mentioned that at the moment, Vazquez earns over €3million-a-year
at the Bernabeu and Arsenal have offered a deal that will make him earn net €8million-a-year.
Under the management of Zinedine Zidane, the La Roja star could only start 16 league games
for Real Madrid last season.
In the presence of top attackers like Ronaldo, Bale and Isco, Vazquez's game time will
likely remain limited and he should leave the club for regular first team football.
Overall, in all competitions, he made 53 appearances for the European Champions in the last campaign,
scored 8 goals and provided 16 assists.
Vazquez can effectively play on either flank and has got the quality to improve Arsenal's
offense.
His current contract has got a huge release clause of €150million but as per a report
covered by Diario Gol last month, the Spanish giants will let him go if an offer of €50million
arrives.
