Waching daily Jun 30 2018

</form> The legendary Glastonbury festival took a fallow break this year to give the land and village a rest

But two festival fans still donned wristbands and glitter on the weekend it would have been - to get married instead

Jack Crook proposed to Millie Taylor while they were watching the fireworks at Glastonbury's Worthy Farm, on June 21, 2017

While planning their big day, the couple started to joke about having a festival-themed wedding

Jack told Somerset Live : "It has been joked about that possibility, as there's no Glastonbury next year, we could get married that weekend to follow the theme through and make use of the time

"  However, their joke soon became a reality after feeling uninspired by traditional wedding venues

Their their wedding featured tents, wristbands and glitter and the pair even tied the knot on the same dates Glastonbury 2018 would have taken place on

The groom added: "Millie and I visited a few traditional wedding venues and decided they just weren't for us

And so the festival theme was born.  "We had three giant tipis in a local railway station surrounded by friends and family

"It was very bright, relaxed and glittery. We asked a glitter girl we met at Glastonbury to come and make our guests sparkle!"  Jack called the day a "huge success" after the newlyweds organised everything themselves

He said: "There was a singer during the day and a band and disco throughout the night

"We also hired a fire pit from a bar we go to in Glastonbury and had surprise fireworks to recreate Glasto's opening night where we got engaged

"We did everything ourselves so it was a lot of work, but so worth it.  "Everyone we have spoken to since the big day has said they have never been to anything like it and it was the best wedding they had been to - a huge success in our eyes

"We might have to do something similar the next fallow year!"

Media is powerful but there are times when it has been used in a wrong way.

Pictures, videos and information are manipulated in a way that they look real.

Here are some fake news scandals:

London Terror Attack, Westminster: March 22, 2017

A picture of a lady wearing a hijab was circulated which read how she was indifferent to the victims of the attack.

The lady released a statement on how devastated she was after the attack and was stunned at how she was being blamed for her behaviour.

The account that shared the picture turned out to be a Russian bot by the name of @SouthLoneStar.

Twitter suspended the account in the month of November.

London Bridge Terror Attack: June 3, 2017

Immediately after the attack a picture was circulated online which claimed it was the suspect responsible for the attack.

The image turned out to be of the famous American comedian Sam Hyde.

Hyde's picture was circulated again after the attack on Finsbury Park mosque, London on June 19, 2017.

He again became a victim of fake news and was blamed for the death of 58 people in a mass shooting that took place on October 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Seth Rich Murder Conspiracy: July 10, 2016

Democratic National Committee employee Seth Rich's murder was used as misinformation.

Julian Assange the owner of WikiLeaks publicly spoke on a Dutch radio show about Seth being involved in D.N.C hack which was connected with the Russians.

American political consultant, Roger Jason Stone said that the Clintons had Seth murdered to hide the evidence of his involvement in the D.N.C hack.

Political commentator and American talk show host, Sean Hannity continued to fuel this story even after a year of Seth's death

but after his family requested people to stop the false accusations things were brought to a halt.

Republican Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore Case

One of the Washington Post's reporthad accused Roy Moore of having sexual contacts with minors.

Moore's supporters circulated false news that an accuser was arrested for speaking lies about the candidate.

Alabama reporters received automated calls where someone said that he was a Washington Post reporter by the name of Bernie Bernstein

and that he had taken money to post damaging reports about Moore.

President Donald Trump

News website TIME reported that President Trump had removed a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval office.

One of the biggest hoax's that has infiltrated America is the collusion between Trump campaign and Russia.
