America was anything but united in welcoming their new president.
Relatively low turnout at the inauguration was followed by massive protests against the
new administration.
Among them, large groups of female demonstrators voicing their disapproval over Trump's remarks
on a range of issues including women's rights and immigration policy... particularly as
it relates to a proposed ban on Muslims.
The marches took place in major cities including L.A., Houston and Atlanta with the biggest
one held in Washington D.C. on Saturday... where organizers say nearly half a million
people showed up.
The movement against the president has intensified since Thursday, when activists, celebrities
and politicians including mayors of New York and Minneapolis... joined the protests and
spoke out against Trump's policy positions.
