Last week, Tesla has filed a lawsuit against its former director of Autopilot Program along
with a former head of Google's autonomous car project . The suit alleges that proprietary
information has been stolen from Tesla's computers, and 12 other Tesla employees were
poached to start another autonomous driving company.
Elon Musk has made it clear last week that Tesla will continue evolving its fleet features
with "major" revisions every 12 to 18 months.
Such an unorthodox approach has come with some backlash from those customers who felt
that their new cars have been rendered obsolete only within one or two years.
In a surprising Tweet Elon Musk has expressed his support to President Trump's pick for
the Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, adding he believed Tillerson "should be given the
benefit of the doubt unless his actions prove otherwise."
Musk is a member of Trump's Strategic and Policy forum.
Tesla stock has closed at $252.95 on Friday up more than 3 percent for the week.
