Known as the world capital of salsa
officially called Santiago de Cali is the
third most populous city in Colombia
It is located in the southern region of Valle
Cauca between the western mountains and the mountains
Central Andes.
It was founded by Sebastian de Belalcazar the July 25, 1536
making it one of the cities oldest in America.
Our visit was short but very intensive, in just a day and a half we enjoy
several of the sights of the city and know a small part of its history.
Places like River Cat which it is one of the most emblematic places
from the city, by the painter and Colombian sculptor
Hernando Tejada, whose sculpture is accompanied by brides
of the cat… which they are in different locations

Cali Zoo is one of my places favorites,
which is home to over 270 species of animals and it is considered one of the best zoos
of Latinamerica
