That is the opinion of Manchester United legends Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand. West Ham beat United 3-1 at the London Stadium to condemn Mourinho's side to a third Premier League defeat of the season
After the game Mourinho was full of praise for Hammers centre-back Issa Diop. Diop joined West Ham from Toulouse in the summer and has impressed in his early days for the Irons
And Jose Mourinho paid tribute to the recruitment of the France under-21 international
"Congratulations to the scout who found the 21-year-old kid, Diop," he said to BT Sport
"He was a monster and dominated every single duel." Mourinho was not happy at Manchester United's transfer business in the summer and Scholes believes he was criticising his own staff with that comment
"You almost feel that is a dig against his own scout," Scholes said. Ferdinand agreed and believes it shows the increased instability surrounding United at the moment
"The stability of the club is key," Ferdinand said. "For any football club you need stability from top to bottom
"Here there seems to be mini wars, in the changing room, probably above that as well
"Even talking about the scouting networks there who found the young centre-half for West Ham, Diop
"Is that a sly dig? That's a dig at his own scout, that's what I read into that. "He'll probably deny that but that is why I feel he mentions that
"So there's mini wars within the camp, that has to to be ironed out."
