That's the view of former Premier League striker Ian Wright following United's 3-2 loss at Brighton on Sunday

The pressure has piled on Mourinho following the defeat with United struggling defensively following a summer of discontent at Old Trafford

Mourinho has regularly voiced his frustrations at the problems at Manchester United, who haven't won the Premier League since 2013

Red Devils vice-chairman Ed Woodward failed to deliver a centre-back to the club, and it seems all is not well at the Theatre of Dreams

And Wright believes Mourinho will be in the firing line if things don't turn around swiftly

"Ed Woodward's unhappy, the manager's unhappy, the players are unhappy and the fans are," Wright said on BBC Radio 5 live's Monday Night Club

"Something is going to have to give somewhere along the line. "If it carries on like this for Manchester United, I don't care how much money they are making, they are going to slip way out of it

"I cannot see any other outcome than unfortunately Jose Mourinho will probably lose his job if it carries on like it is

" Mourinho is the favourite with most bookmakers to be the first Premier League manager to leave his post this season

And Stan Collymore has now offered his take on who should replace the 55-year-old if Manchester United decide his time is up

"I've always thought Mauricio Pochettino would be an obvious candidate," Collymore wrote for the Mirror

"I like the idea of Zinedine Zidane, too. "But right now, Man United are going nowhere fast

"They won't drop out of the Champions League places as they are still good enough to get the top four

"But they are all about attacking football, feel-good factor, the Theatre of Dreams, winning trophies with a smile and swagger

"
