From a video standpoint the other list is great,
but from an analytic standpoint it is lackluster and I left out some important details.
So, here is a new one focusing more on the data of each server instead of my personal dramas.
Let's begin.
S4 Remnants
The biggest private server, pulling an average of 100-130 players,
and peaks of 160.
It has all weapons with pen stats and all gamemodes.
The system rewards players with ap for leveling up and doing events,
that can be used to buy stuff from the store.
But aside from that there is no real incentive to play once you reach a high level and have everything you want.
Recently however, there was a security breach in which one user who was banned got the hardware id of other people to access the game
which caused the ban of people who didn't do anything basically.
The issue was not handled with enough transparency and professionalism,
which lead many players to leave and search for another place,
and unfortunately just unbanning accounts is not enough incentive to convince them to go back.
Overall the server is good, there is always a room to play,
but the administration lacks leadership and a concrete direction,
so get your shit together and make the place better.
S4C
A server focused on creating a competitive ambience.
They implemented an elo system in which you gain or lose points in the matches you play.
Everything in the store is free and has pen stats.
The server however only has 3 game modes and lacks all the weapons due to operating on a older season,
and the new weapons have questionable usefulness.
From what I saw the server pulls and average of 15 players, with a peak of 30+.
Unfortunately, to play there you require to submit a form since the server is private,
which limits the growth of the player base.
Overall I think the server is fine, but it may give the impression that it is an elitist club.
S4 Dark Force
Currently the second biggest server, pulling an average of 50-80 players, with a peak of 100 players,
it also has all weapons and game modes, but the weapons and clothes have both the pen and the force pack stat.
The server tries to resemble the European by implementing a capsule system,
which functions in the exact same way:
You spend ap to get capsules that have a random chance of getting the item you want.
But if you don't like the system you can buy the thing you want for a higher price.
It does give players an incentive to play but unfortunately it harms the character customization.
Also, the game crashes a lot, sometimes I can't leave a room without the screen getting frozen
And when I re-open it the resolution gets reseted and I have to change it again.
The server grew exponentially due to all the people leaving remnants after getting banned,
and it seems that growth won't stop any time soon.
Overall it's like a completely free version of the European server, which is good,
but it also has the same limitations.
S4 Max
A server that aims to be a place to hang out.
It has an average of 30 to 60 players with peaks of 70 or more.
The server operates in an old season, so it lacks all weapons and game modes.
Everything in the store is free with stats pen.
What makes the server stand out is all the new content such as maps and weapons created by users.
Currently people are free to send personalized content to the admins as long as it looks good.
Overall it is a rather casual server that is driven by the community that plays it
so it seems a good place if you just want to play a while to the s4.
In my humble opinion there is no better or worse server, each one offers different things and appeals to a particular type of player.
My advice would be to try them all and decide it for yourself.
