 Jorginho was Chelsea's main summer signing but Manchester City were thought to be close to landing the midfielder

 However Jorginho and Napoli performed a U-turn and he joined Chelsea just days after Maurizio Sarri was confirmed as Antonio Conte's replacement

 And now, speaking to ESPN Brasil, Jorginho has revealed why he chose the Blues. "There are a lot of things behind a negotiation process," Jorginho said

 "I believe Sarri's arrival played a big part on it. "And there's also the greatness of Chelsea, such a big club

So these factors helped me making my mind." Jorginho and Sarri worked together at Napoli since 2015 and built reputations of two of the best in the world

 Chelsea's pursuit of Sarri came after he led Napoli towards a title battle with Juventus and came close to toppling them

 He has been brought in to drive a more attacking philosophy after having Jose Mourinho and Conte in charge

 And Jorginho admits they have a strong bond. "Yes, it's a pretty good relationship," Jorginho said

"He's always bantering, joking with me. "He didn't call me, because he's not the type to be phoning players, but of course, through agents, I knew what his wish was and what kind of work would be put in here

"  And the 26-year-old lifted the lid on his tactics philosophy. "Very offensive, very offensive," Jorginho added

 "He's very tactical and he works a lot on the tactical aspects of the game. You can see the end product when you look at Napoli and how Chelsea are playing now
