Waching daily Sep 30 2018

The latest weekend of Premier League action saw some notable results, which included West Ham beating Manchester United 3-1 to inflict further misery upon Jose Mourinho's team

Elsewhere, Chelsea drew 1-1 with Liverpool in an enthralling contest, and Manchester City, the division's other unbeaten team, beat Brighton 2-0

Here, Sportsmail gets the fans' verdicts from all 20 top flight sides following the latest round of action

Manuel Pellegrini had it all under control throughout this victory. West Ham's front three were simply dazzling and they all got on the scoresheet to put Manchester United to the sword

West Ham have now struck the right balance in midfield. It's onwards and upwards from here

It feels now that time is ticking for Jose Mourinho. After the Derby defeat there needed to be a reaction from the squad to show they will fight for their manager

Instead, United were run off the park by Mark Noble. That lack of reaction tells me the fight has left the squad

It's a bad time for United fans right now. Unai Emery is the king of winning ugly

It is worth noting, though, that the defending is still awful and the team is still very average moving forward

The substitutes were the stars yet again. Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck were both integral in picking apart a rugged Watford

We held our own against a top side but our finishing let us down. We can have no complaints at the defeat

Isaac Success should have put us ahead when through on goal and it was frustrating to see Arsenal take the lead shortly afterwards

The free-kick which led to the first goal felt soft but we should not have switched off so quickly afterwards to concede a second

Overall an encouraging performance. After a scrappy, close, cagey game as well as a missed penalty, Everton took much better control in the second half

Both Gylfi Sigurdsson and Cenk Tosun needed goals (Tosun especially considering he hadn't scored this season)

Richarlison was effective as always, both Jonjoe Kenny and Lucas Digne had a huge influence on the ball and the chances we created were much better than usual

A vital three points. If Ryan Sessegnon scores at the end of the first half, the match could well have been different

When you miss a great chance it can come back to haunt you and that's what happened

Fulham's back four continue to leak goals and Slavisa Jokanovic must fix these problems

As much as Spurs were clinical, the referee had a big influence on the game. We conceded two goals that were preventable, and the referee denied us a penalty

The players are lacking belief and desire. We need to go back to the tactics that got us promoted

Harry Kane getting a brace was vital and may shut up the doom and gloom merchants

for a week anyway. Five of our seven games have been away from Wembley but to be on 15 points after that run is a good return

Raheem Sterling caused havoc throughout and deservedly scored one and made the other

He has always offered a slightly different threat to the rest of our attackers. He runs at defenders, commits them and is so direct

Now he is adding much more to his game with a clever touch and ability to play the neat and patient football to wear down an opponent

There is huge competition for places at City but Sterling is quickly becoming indispensable

A visit to City nowadays is all about goal difference management. When I saw our team sheet, I realised scoring a goal was not on the menu! Defensively we did reasonably well but we must approach the next few matches with a will to win or it could be a long season

The rut does not look like ending any time soon. This was our most concerning performance of the season so far

Seven games in and it is hard to see where the goals are going to come from. Manchester United up next is tough but by no means a guaranteed defeat after their performances this season

A vulnerable Newcastle were there for the taking and Leicester looked comfortable throughout with Harry Maguire dominant at both ends of the pitch

Back to back wins have taken the pressure off Claude Puel and we are looking good in seventh

Wolves' stunning start continues! With arguably their poorest performance of the campaign they ground out a win against a keen but ultimately limited Southampton side

What has become clear is just how solid Wolves will be under Nuno. That's now only one conceded in the last four league games

Wolves deserved to come away with three points. They controlled the tempo of the game and created the better chances

Saints lacked the killer edge in front of goal once again and Mark Hughes' substitutions failed to make the desired impact

Most disappointing was our capitulation after conceding the first goal. It's going to be a long season

As expected, it was a fantastic, enthralling game that lived up to expectations

But for a moment of magic from Daniel Sturridge, Chelsea played really well here

To that point Liverpool offered nothing really and Chelsea did well. That's the Premier League, you need to kill the game, get that second goal and if you don't, then it could all change

I'd have taken a draw before kick-off. It felt like Liverpool were never going to score

Mo Salah was brilliant until his final pass or shot, Sadio Mane was infuriatingly ineffective and Roberto Firmino was a little subdued

Xherdan Shaqiri, off the bench, was just as wasteful. Enter Daniel Sturridge. Who needs pace when you've got that kind of magic in your boots? A big improvement up front is needed for next week against Manchester City, though

I'm not sure how we haven't picked up our first win, let alone a point. Another disappointing day against a Burnley side who I expect to be fighting down the bottom at the end of the season

Nineteen shots compared with Burnley's three shows our quality is lacking in the finishing department

If we can't win our home games, we're not going to give ourselves much of a chance

I can't imagine this game broke any television viewing records. It wasn't pretty and I don't think either of the two teams will consider this to have been a good performance

But who cares? It was a second successive win, a first away win of the season and suddenly things are looking so much better when viewing the league table

We are still some way short of last season's form but hopefully are moving towards that with this latest win

Liverpool news: Steven Gerrard reveals the ONE thing Jurgen Klopp's side lack - Duration: 2:52.

Daniel Sturridge fired a stunning 89th-minute equaliser against Chelsea to salvage a draw for the Reds at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night

Eden Hazard had given the Blues the lead before Jurgen Klopp's side fought back to earn a point

This was the first time that Liverpool have dropped points in the Premier League this season having won all of their opening six matches

Now manager of Rangers, Gerrard believes there is one thing missing from this Liverpool team that may work against them

"I think the only thing they haven't got going for them is experience," he told BBC 5 Live

Only Daniel Sturridge and James Milner have a Premier League winners' medal in the Liverpool squad

Gerrard came close on a few occasions to winning the title, most notably in the 2013/14 season when he famously slipped against Chelsea

"Obviously someone who went very close myself I think we lacked that experience as well," Gerrard added

"I always felt when we were trying to win it I always felt like we were short in certain positions

" The Reds have really improved across the course of Klopp's tenure having reached three cup finals but unfortunately falling at the final hurdle

The club are looking to build on the foundations laid last season when they reached the Champions League final in Kiev where they were eventually beaten by Real Madrid

Gerrard though, feels the team have a good chance of success this season. "I'm looking now and I can't really find any weaknesses when they're at full strength if they keep everyone fit and healthy," Gerrard said

"I think this is a lot stronger than the team I played in. It's been Liverpool 's best squad for a very long time

" Liverpool face a decisive week, they visit Napoli in the Champions League before hosting Manchester City in the Premier League before the international break
