In the video of today we will study Daniel 7. Do you remember the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in
chapter 2 of Daniel on the statue of gold, silver, bronze, iron and clay?
This chapter 7 of Daniel that we are going to today is an enlarged version of that same
dream and if you did not see it I recommend you to see because it is a direct sequence of this video.
And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. Daniel 7: 3.
As in the statue there were four different different metals, in this verse, in this chapter there are
four different animals that each will symbolize one of the nations that lived in the
past. The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all 9 00:01:04,600 --> 00:01:09,370 kingdoms. Daniel 7: 23. The angel who is giving this dream to Daniel says that these animals
are kingdoms to come. Nowadays we know that nations use animals to
symbolize their countries, just like the USA uses an eagle and
like Canada uses a beaver. 4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings;
I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and
made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. 5 And behold another beast, a second,
like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between
the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. 6 After this I beheld,
and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings
of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. 7 After this I
saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible,
and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces,
and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it;
and it had ten horns. Daniel 7: 4-7. This four kingdoms of Daniel 2 are again represented,
but this time animals are used, by following the the statue the lion should symbolize Babylon.
Let us then see what are the similarities and understand that this lion really symbolizes
Babylon. Lions with wings is a widely used symbol in ancient Babylon. We
we also know that the lion is the king of all animals, he is the noblest animal, so
as Nebuchadnezzar was known as the noblest king. Bears are
bloodthirsty animals. The bear is clumsy and slow and that meant the slow progress
that Medo-Persia had until conquering Babylon. The three ribs in the mouth are a reference
to the three main conquests: Egypt, Lydia and Babylon. The leopard though it is
smaller it faces bears and lions, so Alexander the Great with only 30,000
men faced Dario with an army of 600,000 men. The leopard is a very fast animal
and here in this prophecy it is featured with four wings, which means even more
and the truth is that Greece has conquered Medo-persia with a
incredible speed. The four heads of the animal are a reference to the
Greek empire among the four generals: Cassander, Lisimaco, Ptolemy and Seleucus. The fourth animal
was different from all the others, he had big iron teeth and we can do
a link with the iron legs of the statue of Nebuchadnezzar
symbolized Rome. In addition these 10 horns symbolize the 10 barbarian nations
who invaded Rome and conquered it after its decline. This first part, as
we see, repeats again the four kingdoms that would succeed Babylon, but the
chapter 7 of Daniel is going to put us an information of extreme importance, it will us
speak of the realm of the little horn. And Daniel understands that this is a detail he needs
to understand, he asks for help from the angel who is giving him the vision to clarify
what is the small point, or the small horn. 19 Then I longed to know the truth.
about the fourth animal, which was different from all the others, very terrible, whose
his teeth were of iron, and his nails were brass; devoured, shredded and stepped on the
feet what was left; 20 And also concerning the ten horns which were upon his head, and
another that went up, and before which three fell, that is, of him who had eyes, and
a mouth that spoke great things, and whose countenance was mightier than that of his
companions. Daniel 7: 19 and 20. In the next few verses we will understand what it means
the little horn. 23 The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom of the earth, which shall be different
of all kingdoms; and shall devour all the earth, and shall tread it under foot, and subdue three kings.
24 And as for the ten horns, ten kings shall arise from that same kingdom; and after them
and another shall rise, which shall be different from the first, and shall subdue three kings. Daniel
7: 23 and 24. The little horn emerges from Rome, from the fourth kingdom, and he remembers here that ten
kingdoms would first appear which symbolizes the ten barbarian nations. While I am considering
the horns, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before which three of the first
horns were plucked. Daniel 7: 8 The little horn appears among the ten horns of the nations.
three of them. These ten horns are the ten barbarian nations
which arose after the fall of Rome, which became the European nations. The prophecy
he foretold that three of these nations would be plucked, destroyed, by the little horned nation.
The small horn took full control over Europe when the Ostrogoths, the third
kingdom was defeated in 538. Therefore, this nation, this little horn, is something that
appeared after Rome, after Rome had been divided into ten factions, only there is that
this little horn had full mastery. This horn made war against the saints, and prevailed
against them. Daniel 7: 21. And he shall destroy the saints of the most High. Daniel 7: 25. The nation
of the little horn makes war against the saints, against the people of God and overcomes them. And behold
in this horn were eyes like a man's, and a mouth speaking great things. Daniel
7: 8. This nation has a man who speaks and sees through him. And he will utter words against
the Most High, and will destroy the saints of the Most High, and will take care to change the times and the law. Daniel
7: 25. This leader of the little horn, of this nation, we still do not know well what
is, will utter words against the truths of God, he will try to change his own
laws. And they will be delivered into your hand, for a time, and times, and half a time.
Daniel 7:25. Time is an ancient word that symbolizes year. Times in the plural means
two and a half years means half a year. It means that the realm of the little horn will
reign for three and a half years, prophetic, we will see how this means
1260 years in literal time and realize that this prophecy was fulfilled to the letter. Really
this kingdom, this power, reigned for 1260 years. I already told you in one of the videos back
that Revelation and Daniel, both prophetic books, often they intersect in information
to complete each other, we now jump to Revelation 13 and understand
that the beast that is spoken of in this chapter refers exactly to the same super powers
of the book of Daniel 7: 1 And I set myself upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rising up out of the sea
which had seven heads and ten horns, and upon its horns ten diadems, and upon their horns.
a name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast that I saw was like the leopard, and his beasts
like a bear, and his mouth like a lion's, and the dragon gave him power, and his
throne, and great power. Revelation 13: 1 and 2. Both passages have beasts coming out
of the sea, both have a total of 7 heads and 10 horns, both mention the lion, a
leopard and a bear. Is the little horn also represented in Revelation 13
to get more details and understand what kingdom this is? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth,
to utter great things and blasphemies, and he was given power to act for forty
and two months. What is blasphemy according to the Bible? "Why does this say such blasphemies?
Who can forgive sins but God? The Jews answered him, saying, We do not stone you.
for some good work, but for blasphemy, because, being a man, you make God to you
"Blasphemy is the pretense of forgiving sins and of being God. In confession the priest
has the power to forgive all crimes committed after baptism. We (the popes) have about
the earth the place of the almighty God. The pope is Jesus Christ hidden in the flesh. What you want
that God or the Redeemer does, the vicar can do without anything against the faith. The pope is
of such great dignity that he is, not a mere man, but as if he were God. 7 and
he was permitted to make war on the saints, and to overcome them; and power was given over all
the tribe, and language, and nation. Revelation 13: 5 and 7. Both the beast of Revelation 13
like the little horn of Daniel 7 utter words against the Most High, make war
against the saints and both reign over the same period of time, because three years
and a half is exactly 42 months. As I have explained the times in prophecy are symbolic,
are not literal, just as if we look at a map, a map has a scale, 1 cm
can mean 16 km. One day I gave you every year. Ezekiel 4: 6. Forty days, for each
day a year. Numbers 14:34. As we have seen in these verses, one day means one year. Like this
being, how many days are three and a half years, considering that a Biblical month has 30
days, are 1260 days prophetic. Since there are 1260 prophetic days, we must
them to literal years. So, let's see what nation reigned exactly for
1260 years. And I saw one of their heads as the wound of death, and their deadly wound was
cured; and the whole earth wondered after the beast. Revelation 13: 3. This kingdom of the horn
after 1260 years, seems to be defeated, it seems
that he is wounded, but his wound is healed, and he again has dominion. What other information
important thing appears in Revelation 13 for us to definitively identify who we are, the
is the little horn? 7 And it was permitted for him to make war upon the saints, and to overthrow them; it was given to him
power over all tribe, and tongue, and nation. 8 And all who dwell on it have worshiped it.
the earth, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain
since the foundation of the world. Revelation 13: 7 and 8. This is a nation that will be worshiped.
Worship has to do with worship. This really was a different nation, not
only political, but as religious. This kingdom transcends geographical boundaries,
which is a universal nation, with authority over all other nations. Therefore,
let's try to understand with all these clues who is the small horn, or the nation of the
small horn. The most influential church of all time is the medieval Roman church.
It is the only power that fulfills all these 10 points. The medieval Roman church had its origin
In Rome. Appeared in Europe. Three kingdoms that had different religious beliefs
of the church were eradicated. He gained power over Europe in 538 after the fall of Rome.
The medieval Roman church is different from all nations since it is a religious kingdom
and political. The Vatican City is an independent state with its own laws, army,
seals, ambassadors in most nations. The medieval church made war on thousands of
believers who believe in the Bible. The church leader sees and speaks for her. The medieval church
made grandiose declarations: Pope Leo XIII said: "We occupy in this land the place
of almighty God, does the priest pray simply for his sins to be forgiven?
No, acting as an instrument of God and ordained minister he truly forgives sins. "
He decreed laws and regulations that are added and often contrary to the scriptures.
The papacy ruled exactly for 1260 years, from 538 to 1798 when the general
Bertheir at the orders of Napoleon arrested the Pope. Bible Students of the 17th Century
and 18 correctly predicted the fall of the papacy in 1798 d. C. based on the prophecy of the 1260
years. We should not be surprised to discover that God included the Roman church
in prophecy. More than any entity it has influenced secular history and
religious Today my friends, we are to understand what this little horn symbolized,
the medieval Roman church. We came to understand with incredible detail of 1260 years, during
its period that it would fall and that at the end of that time it would come back to reborn,
his wound would be healed. And we remember that during, for example, the period of the Inquisition
this church killed thousands upon thousands of faithful believers at the words of God, faithful to the scriptures.
Look how incredible this prediction was from God, through the dream that the
Angel gave Daniel. And this was the video today. I hope you are enjoying it,
whenever they have doubts, whenever they have some idea for a new video do it,
because I think I did not warn you, I did not say, but the last video was because of a
your suggestion. So this video, this fifth video should have been the fourth, because
has to do with prophecies. I made the video of the origin of evil, because there were questions about
that's because God is unjust, so I felt the need to make this video.
A big hug to all of you that God bless you and we see each other in the next
week, next Saturday. A big hug and may God bless you. See you.
