This video has important news for unionized workers at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.
My local health authority fired me because I was a disabled employee.
My nursing career ended when a workplace accident left me permanently disabled.
An arbitration court, known as a Claims Review Committee (CRC) awarded me Long Term Disability
Benefits.
Claims Review Committee decisions are supposed to be final and binding.
However, my benefits were wrongfully terminated by the insurance plan administrator.
Adding insult to injury, Doctors falsified my medical reports and maligned my character
by describing me as happily unemployed.
Even my employer wrote disempowering lies about me and altered my employment records.
My disability experience as an unionized employee denied me justice.
So I went to the BC Supreme Court and found it controlled by the Labour Relations Board
of BC and judges fearful of losing their jobs.
My judge was not allowed to make a ruling on the merits of my case.
He was very clear and pleased to say that there was no fraud in my petition.
