Arsenal play their penultimate pre-season friendly of the summer on Wednesday night when they take on Chelsea in Dublin

The game is Arsenal's final International Champions Cup fixture of the summer, with Unai Emery's side having already lost on penalties to Atletico Madrid and thumped Paris Saint Germain 5-1

Both of those matches were played during last week's tour to Singapore, but the club's final two warm up games ahead of the new Premier League season will be staged in Europe

Having taken on Chelsea tonight at Dublin's Aviva Stadium, Arsenal will then travel to Sweden at the weekend and complete their pre-season campaign with a game against Italian side Lazio in Stockhom on Saturday

Unai Emery took a 25-man squad with him to Singapore and it's likely that the squad that is chosen to take on Chelsea in Dublin will be the same

New signings Lucas Torreira and Stephan Lichtsteiner both returned to London Colney on Monday following their extended summer break because of the World Cup - as did Granit Xhaka and Nacho Monreal

But it is unlikely that any of the quartet would have travelled to Ireland for the game against the Blues due to their lack of fitness

They will instead stay at Arsenal's training base to build-up their fitness levels and could possible travel with the squad for Saturday's meeting with Lazio

Mesut Ozil captained the Gunners for the game against Paris Saint Germain and is expected to start once again against Chelsea on Wednesday night

The likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will feature, as will new sigings Metto Guendouzi, Bernd Leno and Sokratis

Teenager star Emile Smith Rowe turned 18 at the weekend and celebrated by signing a new long-term contract with the club on Tuesday

He, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah all trained with the first-team squad at London Colney on Tuesday evening and are all also expected to play some part against Chelsea in Dublin

Arsenal transfer : Sven Mislintat has approached Barcelona over Ousmane Dembele ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:18.

Arsenal transfer chief Sven Mislintat has reportedly been in contact with Barcelona

over a deal for Ousmane Dembele.

Arsenal have been linked with Dembele with the player reportedly keen to leave Barcelona

in the wake of their signing of Malcom.

The Catalan giants signed the Brazilian from Bordeaux last week, fending off Roma to secure

his signature.

And Football London say Barcelona have been contacted about Dembele by Arsenal chief Mislintat.

Arsenal know they still lack balance in their attack despite having Henrikh Mkhitaryan,

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette on the books.

And with Dembele's Barcelona future unsure, Football London say Mislintat has been in

touch.

The 45-year-old knows all about the France international having brokered his move to

Borussia Dortmund from Rennes in 2016.

Whether it is enough for lure him to Arsenal, though, remains to be seen.

Ernesto Valverde ruled out selling Dembele in May, claiming he was a key part of his

Barcelona plans.

Valverde said: "We have to realise he just got here.

He's had some injuries and getting playing time in our team is not easy.

"He's an incredible talent, technically outstanding, he's quick, a difference-maker.

"Maybe he needs to work on defence a little bit and some other areas.

Maybe putting on pressure after we lose the ball.

"But we know he's young, he's had a tough season and we hope he will continue to develop

next year."

Dembele is football's fourth most-expensive signing of all time, behind Philippe Coutinho,

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Arsenal do not have the financial muscle to sign the 21-year-old but a loan deal may suit

them instead.

Liverpool transfer news: Reds could do EIGHT more deals after Woodburn exit announced - Duration: 2:59.

Woodburn, who became the Reds' youngest goalscorer when he netted in an EFL Cup win against Leeds aged 17 in November 2016, has made 11 appearances for the club and also played seven times and scored one goal for Wales

Blades boss Chris Wilder said of the 18-year-old on the Championship club's official website: "Ben is a great signing for us, he is an exciting player with undoubted quality

"He's been involved with Liverpool throughout their pre-season and I'm delighted they've trusted us with one of their outstanding young prospects, who is a full international as a teenager

"It's his first loan move and I'm sure it will be a great one for all parties. He makes goals and score goals with both feet, he can play in a couple of attacking positions and gives us flexibility at the top of the pitch

" In their statement on the deal, Sheffield United said they had "fought off fierce competition from a number of Championship clubs" to secure the services of the Liverpool academy product

He could be followed out the exit door by a number of other fringe players. Danny Ings has been told he can leave but Liverpool are demanding £25million

Ings has spent three injury-ravaged years at Anfield where he has been restricted to just four goals in 25 first team appearances

Crystal Palace are among the clubs interested. The arrival of Alisson could mean Loris Karius or Simon Mignolet leave too

It emerged this week that Mignolet is in the sights of Barcelona where he could be offered the chance to become understudy to Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Turkish club Besiktas have already been in touch with Liverpool over a move for Mignolet but have yet to come in with a firm bid

Liverpool want £28million for striker Divock Origi, who has interested Watford. The Hornets prefer a loan deal but Liverpool want a permanent sale

Sheyi Ojo, 21, is down the pecking order at Anfield too and Liverpool are in talks with Middlesbrough over a £10million switch Marko Grujic is still wanted by Cardiff - Liverpool want to send him on loan as opposed to selling - while Pedro Chirivella snubbed a move to Rosenborg but remains likely to go

Lazar Markovic is also unwanted by Jurgen Klopp.

Breaking News ⭐ Princess Charlotte and Prince George will soon have to follow strict protocols - Duration: 4:56.

SIBLINGS Prince George and Princess Charlotte are getting an early education on becoming British royals

Royal historian and author Marlene Eilers Koening toldHello! this week the children must bow and curtsy to their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, at public engagements

"Certainly by age five," she said. "The only person they will curtsy or bow to is the sovereign

A royal highness does not curtsy to another royal highness. Yes, there are articles that state this, but it is not true

" George, who turned five on July 22, will soon be expected to begin publicly bowing to the Queen

The magazine noted it's likely that the future king has done so in private when greeting the 92-year-old monarch

Charlotte, who turned three in May, has a couple more years before she begins following her brother, who is third in line to the British throne

However, she was spotted last summer giving a mini curtsy to diplomats while on a royal tour with her parents

"Curtsying and bowing is etiquette, nothing to do with precedence," Koening said

"You bow or curtsy the first time you see the sovereign and then again when you leave

"At Christmas at church, we saw the Cambridges and Prince Harry and Meghan curtsy and bow when the Queen arrived and left

Other royals including Charles did not because they had come from Sandringham and had already seen the Queen

" Women's World added the royal children, who all have "His Royal Highness" or "Her Royal Highness" before their names, do not have to genuflect in front of their parents

They also don't have to bow for their older relatives. But the children aren't the only ones learning proper royal etiquette

Sir William Heseltine, former private secretary to the Queen, revealed that members of the royal family should wait until the monarch retires to bed, before they also hit the hay

In an interview for the book, The Royals In Australia, Heseltine shared that "nobody felt it right to go to bed before the Queen did"

While this tradition is something Meghan Markle may need to adopt now that she's officially the Duchess of Sussex, it was something Princess Diana struggled with

"For Diana the long royal evenings were agony," he said. "There'd be an hour or so in the sitting room of everyone sitting around making conversation, and nobody felt it right to go to bed before the Queen did

"And Diana was driven to such extremes that she'd excuse herself and go to bed, which was thought to be rather bad form going to bed before the Queen

" The bedtime tradition isn't the only rule the former Suits star will need to learn

Last month, it was claimed the 36-year-old had breached royal protocol after an Irish politician suggested she was pleased with Ireland's abortion referendum result

According to the UK Parliament website: "Although not prohibited by law, it is considered unconstitutional for the Monarch to vote in an election

" Reports also surfaced that should Meghan become pregnant, she is unlikely to be allowed to have a baby shower

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter said throwing an elaborate baby shower is unheard of for members of the British monarchy

"While the royals are very wealthy … a lavish baby shower would be seen as highly inappropriate … there's nothing they can't go and but themselves," she told the Daily Mail
