NATO and Russia heading for a clash over Poland

Poland is shaping up to be at the centre of

a potential clash between NATO and Russian forces.

According to a proposal by Poland's Defence Ministry, the Polish government could offer

up to $2 billion in funding for a permanent US military presence on Polish territory.

In response, Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian government, stated that if the

Americans accepted this offer by Poland, it could 'lead to counteraction from the Russian

side.'

This latest fallout between Poland and Russia comes at a time of growing tension between

the two countries.

Radio Poland has reported that the 'Polish security services have detained a Russian

citizen and banned four people from entering the country after cracking down on a network

waging a hybrid and information war masterminded by Moscow' with the objective of destabilising

the Polish state.

A quick look at the history of foreign relations in the post-Cold War period shows why today's

poor Russian-Polish relationship has the potential to turn Poland into a NATO-Russian flashpoint.

Since the Poles joined NATO in 1999, they have developed a strong strategic partnership

with the United States.

Professor Justnya Zajac of the University of Warsaw points out that 'maintaining America's

political and military presence in Europe has been imperative from Poland's point

of view.

In Warsaw, the United States was seen as a security stabiliser and a state whose presence

in Europe secured a desirable balance of power.'

Poland's expression of such a deep commitment to advancing American geopolitical interests

in Europe has caused consternation in Russia.

The Russians fear that the strong Polish diplomatic connection to the US leaves their enclave

of Kaliningrad Oblast exposed to NATO advances.

Piotr Buras and Adam Balcer from the European Council on Foreign Relations note that 'Russia

sees Kaliningrad as a vulnerable outpost because it is surrounded by the most "hawkish"

NATO member states (Lithuania and Poland)…if the conflict were to escalate, Russia would

probably want to neutralise Poland by occupying the Polish-Lithuanian border region (the Suwalki

corridor) located between Kaliningrad and Belarus.'

In response to what is perceived as NATO's "hawkish" actions as Poland establishes

a special relationship with the Americans, Russia has transformed Kaliningrad into a

deeply militarised corner in north-east Europe.

The stage is therefore set for a potential confrontation between NATO and Russia on Polish

territory that is not dissimilar to the case of Russia's intervention in Ukraine in 2014.

There are troubling similarities between Russian interests in Ukraine in 2014 and the current

row between Poland and Russia.

The RAND Corporation, a global policy think tank, published a report in 2017 that found

that, just as Poland today faces a potential Russian military threat along its north-eastern

border with Kaliningrad, Russia 'had forces in place at its Black Sea Fleet' that threatened

Crimea.

Another similarity between the Polish-Russian clash and the 2014 Ukrainian case is a 'Russian

information campaign accompanying its military movements.'

This is illustrated by the Polish government having established a new wing of Poland's

military known as the Territorial Defence Forces, which is specifically designed to

confront Russia's spread of false information.

What happened to Ukraine at the hands of the Russians could happen again to Poland.

However, what makes the difficult relationship between Russia and Poland even more worrying

for European security than Russia's interference in Ukraine is the fact that, unlike Ukraine,

Poland is a NATO member state.

As a NATO member, Poland is part of its system of collective security enshrined by Article

5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which states that an 'armed attack against one' NATO

member state 'shall be considered an attack against them all.'

If Russian troops stationed in Kaliningrad were to invade Poland, under Article 5 Russia

would be taking on all of the member states of NATO, which most importantly includes the United States.

Very Important News Update | New Book for Pre-Order - Duration: 7:17.

hi everyone thank you for joining me Michael Lanfield here important news

bulletin my newest book our path to freedom how we can live a freer and more

peaceful life this book is coming out August first as a Kindle on Amazon

pre-order it now for Amazon Kindle special price because it's gonna go up

August 1st August 1st you can purchase it but you three purchasing now you get

a special price and it is the third book in the series the interconnectedness of

life so first there was the interconnectedness of life and then

there was the last love and now this our path to freedom so what is our path to

freedom let me talk a little bit about it and the information that is included

in there and it's a little bit different from my other two books in that it

really talks about how we should move away from our culture why we should move

first of all why we should move away from our culture we thought we should do

it and also that we not everyone's gonna go like tomorrow and live right in the

forest so we got to do it slowly and so that is the main gist about this is

really to like two things basically about this book first is still focusing

on the theme and the idea of love and how love will solve everything and

secondly how we should understand that institutions and institutional

institutions that are part of our culture especially Western culture is

they're not they're not serving us any longer they're not serving us sort of

better and so we should get away from supporting any institution so like

institutionalized religions and marriages and any of these like licenses

and IDs and all these things and just giving up everything basically but also

to understand that we are not here to just because we live in a crazy world

and it's not possible just to go live in a forest somewhere and that's what

people think that this book is about no it's about trying to achieve true

freedom for ourselves and we understand when we have these stipulations and

these laws and these rules that are governed by governments Illuminati etc

then we are truly not free so we have to understand these ideas first really and

then really put them into practice afterwards you know slowly slowly

getting away from our culture now I'm fortunate I'm still part of this culture

as well and I'm not there yet at that level where I'm just like living a truly

free life I have been indoctrinated too since I was born and unfortunately you

know I've been slapped with so many vaccines and who knows what else I've

been you know pumped into me and I've been fed in all these lies and all these

you know programming and all these contradictions and things like that but

it always starts it always starts with our food it always starts with you know

understanding that our culture our no matter if it's a capitalist or if it's a

communist culture no matter what kind of society we live in understanding that

they're both they're both fundamentally the same system they're both the same

system and so I talked about this in my book how you know our path to freedom

and I really go into this in detail it is a little bit lengthy book but it's

still a pretty short read it's in paperback

it's little over 100 pages and I think in Kindle I think it's about

some 90 some pages but it really goes into the idea of you know first

understanding all these lies and all these contradictions that that

government is actually putting on us once we understand that then we

understand okay now that we know that the government's and all the

institutions are lying to us they're deceiving us they're still part of this

culture this complex culture which really is based on hurting animals then

we can start to okay I understand this now I have to strive to you know go as

far away as possible from the culture that I was brought up in and teach

others to do the same now this is probably my most radical and most

controversial book that you'll ever read her it's a really sad book but it's

thought-provoking and it really teaches people aha this is what's happening in

the world today this is what I can do I could take baby steps to get there and

the first step is really to love embrace love but embrace compassion embrace

kindness and you know all these wonderful beautiful emotions that really

respect other beings respect the earth and respect each other and so bad is our

path to freedom please do get the book today share with all your friends and

family to share this video please share it and like it because the more people

to share it and like it the more views is gonna get and the message is gonna

get farther and farther to thousands and maybe even millions of people so share

this video around please hit that you know subscribe button and don't forget

to hit that that little bell icon for notifications thanks for watching

everyone I love you all and don't forget don't forget don't forget our

path to freedom pre-order now pre-order it now for a special Kindle price

because the book price goes up August 1st

so and don't forget also lastly write a review of the book when it comes out

Brock Lesnar OUT Until SummerSlam?! WWE Extreme Rules Plans LEAKED?! | WrestleTalk News May 2018 - Duration: 4:50.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleLuke News - I'm Oli Davis… in a minor role.

And while you won't find me on The Gram.

Because there's only so many of your meals I want to see pictures of...

The Undertaker Officially Joins Instagram ...you will find WWE icon The Undertaker,

who has now officially joined the social media platform.

With the username 'undertaker' - all lower case - he's already amassed almost 400,000

followers with just one low quality image captioned The Deadman.

This appears to be the real Phenom, as the new account has the little blue verified tick

that indicates the profile really belongs to the Undertaker.

Unless it's all a work - because we've certainly been there before.

Actually, that poses quite a few questions…

Who really is Fake Undertaker?

Who really is Fake Kane?

And who really is Byron Sa- Wait a second… ...who really is Luke Owen?

I'm sure it's fine.

What isn't so ok, though, is the main event scene of Monday Night Raw.

Brock Lesnar Next WWE Match At Summerslam WWE's Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was

last seen on the 27th April kind of successfully defending his title against Roman Reigns at

the Greatest Royal Rumble.

It seems the event's host city of Jeddah was so beautiful, though - SWEET JESUS, IT'S

SO BLOODY BEAUTIFUL - Brock stayed there and hasn't been heard from since.

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting we'll have to wait two months

more for Lesnar's next appearance, "As of right now, the plan for Lesnar's next

Universal title match is SummerSlam, on 8/19 in Brooklyn."

This will make it 114 days between Brock matches - exceeding the 98 days between WrestleMania

33 and his Great Balls of Fire title defence last year as Lesnar's longest period out

of WWE since 2016.

Apparently "Lesnar is tentatively headlining [SummerSlam] but that is not locked in stone",

but what will happen to the Beast Incarnate following WWE's big summer pay-per-view?

It was widely believed Brock would be leaving WWE to return to the UFC after WrestleMania

34 back in April where he'd drop the Universal title to Reigns [IMAGE].

An agreement was made for Lesnar to stay on with the belt, though, but the exact terms

of the deal have reportedly ranged from a multi-year new contract, to just a several

month extension through the summer.

Dave Meltzer notes that if Lesnar re-enters USADA's testing pool - a prerequisite to

fighting in the UFC again - by the end of June, then that's a clear sign he'll be

leaving WWE to fight at UFC's New Year's weekend show.

If he doesn't, he'll likely stay with WWE.

So with Brock not around on Raw for at least another two months, what are we going to get

on Monday nights?

WWE Extreme Rules Plans Leaked?

Six man tags main eventing pay-per-views, apparently.

The PPG Paints Arena currently lists two matches for July's dual-branded pay-per-view - it's

the best of both worlds!

- Extreme Rules.

One of which is Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn

and Jinder Mahal - implying we're stuck with Raw's lacklustre Reigns vs Jinder and

Lashley and his three beautiful sisters vs Zayn for another two months.

And it's not that much more appealing on the SmackDown side of things, with Daniel

Bryan vs Big Cass being the other featured match-up currently promoted - implying Bryan's

first singles feud since coming out of retirement will involve at least three pay-per-view matches

primarily based on his opponent being tall.

But there is hope - as the card is always subject to change, and the Wrestling Observer

reporting a different SmackDown match as being advertised: Daniel Bryan vs Samoa Joe - which

we just missed out on this week's episode when Big Cass was added to make it a triple

threat.

Interestingly, the Observer notes that neither Ronda Rousey or John Cena are listed in the

other featured WWE superstars section of the adverts.

Speaking of John Cena, find out his shoot comments on his fellow WWE stars by clicking

the video onscreen now!

And give us a subscribe to keep up to date with all the latest backstage professional

wrestling news.

I've been Oli Davis, and that was wrestling.

Unai Emery contract clause in place because of Man Utd fear ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 1:54.

Arsenal have placed a break clause in the contract of new boss Unai Emery to avoid making

the same mistakes as Manchester United.

A new era is underway at the Emirates after the departure of long-standing manager Arsene

Wenger last month.

The Frenchman's reign of dominating most club affairs is over, and the Gunners are now sharing

out responsibilities to a host of new additions.

Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi now have a big say in the day-to-day running of the

club.

And it appears club chiefs have opted to place a break-clause in Emery's new deal.

According to The Times, this clause can be triggered after two seasons, meaning Arsenal

could potentially dismiss the Spaniard one year before the end of his three-year deal.

This means if Emery is sacked, he will not be paid the full value of his remaining contract.

The Times claim Arsenal officials were keen to avoid the situation United found themselves

in after the dismissal of David Moyes.

The Scot was handed a six-year deal upon his arrival at Old Trafford.

However, Moyes was sacked before the end of his first season in charge.

Emery was only given a two-year contract at former club PSG, who relieved him of his duties

earlier this year.

The former Valencia boss has taken charge of seven clubs over the last 14 years.

Happy National Donut Day! | Comodo News - Duration: 2:00.

Hey I'm Shaw Unib Shaida with your Comodo Cybersecurity News Update for June 1st!

Happy National Donut Day!

Enjoy your sweet, soft, sugary donuts, donuts, donuts, but DO NOT forget to analyze your

network for possible cyber-attack vulnerabilities!

Popular Canadian donut chain Tim Hortons learned this lesson the hard way.

This past February, over a thousand locations across Canada found their computer systems

crippled.

Malware entered the donut chain's point-of-sale network.

It made point-of-sale systems inoperable in many locations and the restaurants couldn't

process transactions, leading to partial and complete store closures.

It resulted in an immense loss of revenue as they had to pay employees not to work AND

loss of sales AND product spoilage.

The impact of the Point of Sale cyber-attack was substantial.

An anonymous source said: "The cash registers just plain don't work.

Many of the stores had to close totally."

Even though cybercriminals did not steal any sensitive data such as financial documents

or credit card info, over 1,000 restaurants certainly lost a ton of money and had to deal

with immense reputational damage.

Don't let cyber-attacks cripple your business!

Discover malicious and unknown security threats that are lurking in your network.

You can take advantage of a free forensic analysis malware scan courtesy of Comodo Cybersecurity

by clicking on the link in the description of this video.

Be proactive, do it TODAY and take security measures to protect your business.

Man United finalising Fred transfer | News Now #mufc - Duration: 2:09.

Man Utd transfer news features an update on Fred as Jose Mourinho waits for him to become

his first midfield signing in the summer transfer window 2018.

Manchester United are finalising a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, while he

is in the country with the Brazil national team.

The MEN understands United have not concluded their move for the 25-year-old, but do not

expect there to be any complications in the final round of negotiations.

It is believed United and Fred's representatives are discussing the final stages, and are hopeful

of signing the Brazilian for a fee lower than his €60million release clause.

Shakhtar had indicated they would not accept any less, but United could negotiate a fee

rising to £52.5m with achievable add-ons.

Fred is currently training in London with the Brazil squad, who have held their sessions

at Tottenham's Spurs Lodge in Enfield, just 15 miles away from United's office in Mayfair.

Brazil play Croatia in a World Cup warm-up at Anfield on Sunday, but United could arrange

for Fred's unveiling away from their Carrington training complex.

Jose Mourinho inked his United contract and posed for a presentation picture in their

London office, and the club arranged for Romelu Lukaku to undergo a medical in Los Angeles

last year.

The MEN revealed a week ago United were close to reaching an agreement with the Shakhtar

Donetsk midfielder.

Fred's agent Gilberto Silva flew to London last week, and is believed to have held additional

dialogue to escalate the transfer.

Fred confirmed at a press conference in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday his representatives

had held 'advanced talks with United', after a January switch to Manchester City collapsed.
