BREAKING NOW: LEADING DEMOCRAT AND TRUMP CRITIC TO ANNOUNCE HE IS QUITTING CONGRESS

The Democratic Party is losing one of their leaders, as a top member of the House of Representatives

is set to announce that he is retiring and will not seek re-election.

According to multiple news sources, Luis Gutierrez, a Democrat from Illinois, is retiring and

will not seek re-election.

He is expected to make the official announcement sometime today.

Gutierrez has been a vocal leader in the Democrats� push for immigration legislation, and he has

been among President Donald Trump�s top critics.Fox News has more.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., a longtime advocate for comprehensive immigration reform and critic

of the Trump administration, is retiring from Congress, Fox News confirms.

Gutierrez held an event in Chicago on Monday alongside Mayor Rahm Emanuel and is slated

to hold a news conference in Chicago on Tuesday morning.The lawmaker confirmed to Fox News

that he plans to run for another office � just not Congress.

There is speculation he could be gearing up to run for governor of Puerto Rico or mayor

of Chicago.

The 63-year-old congressman has served his Chicago district since 1993 and is a senior

member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

A Puerto Rican, he has been a lead proponent in recent weeks of providing federal aid to

storm-ravaged Puerto Rico.

He also has been arrested this year outside Trump Tower in New York protesting the president�s

strict immigration enforcement policy.

But Gutierrez also was among the harshest critics of former President Barack Obama,

whom he called the �deporter in chief� for ordering immigration agencies to deport

hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants.

He strongly disagreed with Obama�s � and his then-chief of staff Emanuel�s decision

� to use the early years of his presidency to push for health-care reform instead of

an immigration overhaul

Before the Thanksgiving recess, Gutierrez told The Washington Post that he was planning

to file the roughly 800 signatures he needed to collect in order to run for re-election.

�I�m filing my papers, and I�m doing it again,� he said at the time.But he has

privately hinted to colleagues for the past several years that he wanted to retire.

Earlier this year, he signaled that he felt comfortable doing so now that the Congressional

Hispanic Caucus has more than 30 members, including several younger, more ambitious

colleagues in safe districts who are likely to be in Congress for several years to come.

WWE News - The Miz Says A Recent Promo Was Completely Unscripted

The Miz recently discussed his Raw segment with LaVar Ball and that the interaction between the two of them was completely unscripted. There's a lot of talk in the present day about how Superstars and their promos in WWE are over-scripted.

That Vince McMahon and his team of writers give the company's performers scripts to memorize and force them to recite them word for word whereas in the past wrestlers were given a lot more freedom in that respect.

To some extent that may be true, but it would seem for the most part the only Superstars who are scripted to that level are ones that want to be.

It's pretty evident that Roman Reigns has the majority of his material written for him, and apparently Kurt Angle insists on it.

Others like John Cena and The Miz however prefer to react to what their opponents say and have also earned the trust of those backstage at WWE so that they can be allowed to do so.

The Miz actually opened up about one unscripted segment in particular during his appearance on the Sam Roberts Pro Wrestling Podcast last week.

The segment the two discussed was the infamous one that took place earlier this year on Raw with LaVar and Lonzo Ball. Apparently Miz asked them if they wanted to go over the script prior to it taking place but LaVar declined.

Whether what happened next was a success or a disaster is still up for debate. According to The A-Lister LaVar whipping off his shirt and confronting him was all unscripted and off his own back.

Roberts even asked Miz about 'the N bomb' dropped by Lavar's son, the part of the segment which was an unarguable disaster, and the former Intercontinental Champion replied that because Dean Ambrose's music was playing at the time he thankfully didn't hear him say it.

The Miz is one of the best talkers under WWE's employ right now so it's no surprise that not only does the company let him go in front of a live camera unscripted, but also that he wouldn't be rattled by LaVar Ball going into business for himself.

One thing is for certain though, WWE probably won't be inviting LaVar and his family back to perform on Raw again any time soon.

Clooney Blacklisting Actresses for Speaking out Against Weinstein Abuses…

In the continuing saga of just how many men in Hollywood absolutely SUCK….you may want

to add George Clooney to that list if you haven't already.

Vanessa Marquez, who played nurse Wendy Goldman during the first three seasons of ER, claims

that Clooney helped blacklist her for speaking up about harassment on the set of the show.

As all of Hollywood's dirty laundry comes out in the fallout of Harvey Weinstein's

fall from grace as it has been revealed there are nearly 30 years worth of sexual assault

and rape claims against the movie mogul.

Yet many of Hollywood's leading men have chosen to defend Weinstein and stayed silent

for years in the face of rampant sexual abuse.

Men like Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and George Clooney are now being revealed for the scum

sucking pieces of garbage that they truly are.

Videos are surfacing showing their own predilections for sexual abuse of women.

Apparently, in Hollywood, no does not really mean no at least not according to these guys.

Marquez, it seems found this out first hand as she now no longer has a career in Hollywood.

She claims she tried to speak out against the rampant sexual harassment and sexual assault

in Hollywood.

As a result of her attempts to raise awareness, she says she was 'blacklisted" by one-time

ER star Clooney.

Her lack of career in Hollywood is directly attributed to Clooney's efforts to keep

that rampant abuse of women under wraps, according to Marquez.

This makes a mockery of Clooney's statements denouncing Weinstein when he stated – "It's

Disturbing on a Whole Lot of Levels" during an interview with the Daily Beast.

Clooney goes on to state of Weinstein's abusive behavior –

"It's indefensible.

That's the only word you can start with.

Harvey's admitted to it, and it's indefensible.

I've known Harvey for 20 years.

He gave me my first big break as an actor in films on From Dusk Till Dawn, he gave me

my first big break as a director with Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

We've had dinners, we've been on location together, we've had arguments.

But I can tell you that I've never seen any of this behavior—ever."

Lying sack of liberal sh*t ~Dean James III% All of this despite the fact that his best

friend for several years, Brad Pitt, had two partners, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie,

who were victims of Weinstein and Clooney himself having direct contact with said abuser

for 20 years by his own admission.

So if Clooney had never seen such behavior from Weinstein why would he feel it is necessary

to blacklist an actress for speaking up about it in an attempt to protect herself and others

from further abuse?

Results such as Marquez describes are EXACTLY why so many men and women do NOT speak up

about instances of abuse or assault such as these.

Victims are further victimized and punished rather than addressing the real issue of the

predators that caused the issue in the first place.

Adding to the issue is those that falsely accuse which makes it that much MORE difficult

for true victims of this sort of abuse to get the help and protection they need from

this disgusting behavior.

Just when you think people cannot sink much lower, Clooney reveals he is an even bigger

douchebag than I thought.

WWE News - Goldberg To Appear In CW's The Flash

Goldberg will be taking his wish for his son to see him as a real-life superhero to the next level soon as he gets set to appear in CW's The Flash.

This time last year, the WWE Universe was recovering from one of the biggest shocks of 2016. Goldberg made his in-ring return at Survivor Series against Brock Lesnar and managed to defeat The Beast Incarnate in around a minute and a half.

It was incredible, unreal, and led to Goldberg wanting a little bit more of the life he left behind.

The former WCW Champion's run wound up lasting all the way up to WrestleMania 33 at which point Lesnar got his win back, becoming Universal Champion in the process.

Goldberg was a changed man compared to his first run as a wrestler though. In his 13 years away he got married, had a son, and basically become a family man.

His main reason for returning to WWE was to show his new family the life he lived before they were around.

While Goldberg seems to have very much left the door open for another in-ring return, his immediate focus is on something very different.

Goldberg will be taking a step back into the world of acting as it was recently announced that he will star in CW TV series, The Flash.

Once again it seems that Goldberg wants his young son to see him as a superhero as on Twitter over the weekend he responded to a fan asking him if the news was true that he will be doing "2 episodes for my boy!".

How big a role Goldberg has on the show is unclear, but it won't be the first time he has tried his hand at acting.

In 2005, Goldberg starred in The Longest Yard alongside other pro wrestlers Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Great Khali.

He also won't be the first man to appear in a superhero television series, following in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes who starred in Arrow and also Edge who appeared in The Flash as well.

This next step in Goldberg's career is an unexpected one. The airing and ending of the WWE 24 documentary shown on the Network recently really suggested that the former Universal Champion was not done with wrestling.

It looks like he is for the time being though, and watch out for him in the new episodes of The Flash coming soon.

WWE News - Liv Morgan Paraphrases Conor McGregor In Twitter Tirade

A number of now former NXT Superstars certainly made a statement on both Raw and SmackDown Live last week.

Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riot, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose all joined the main roster and attacked many of the women already on the roster.

It came as a big shock and has been the talking point of WWE for the past week. There have been two topics of discussion since the attacks happened.

Why WWE selected the five women that they went with, and what's next for the quintet on their respective shows? That will obviously become a lot clearer this week and one woman with big plans on her mind is SmackDown Live's Liv Morgan.

On Monday morning Morgan tweeted words akin to those once uttered by one Conor McGregor, certainly a good idol to follow in the footsteps of when it comes to fighting your way to the top.

Liv tweeted that she loves her team of Ruby Riot and Sarah Logan before adding 'we're not here to take part… we're here to .

well, you know the rest' as well as tweeting 'I came to knock people out . of my way to the top'.

The reason that some have been questioning WWE's choice to call up Liv Morgan and the rest of the women who invaded the main roster is because most of them haven't exactly been featured prominently in NXT.

Morgan herself has only really played a bit part role at Full Sail yet now finds herself front and center on SmackDown Live.

Meanwhile the likes of Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross who have been major players in NXT remain there still awaiting their main roster call ups.

Whether Liv and the other NXT women were the right Superstars to call up or not is neither here nor there as irregardless as the angle has caused quite a stir.

What's more is that on SmackDown Live the focus is purely on Liv, Ruby and Sarah as they don't have an established returning star like Paige stealing a lot of the limelight.

Here's hoping that Morgan can ascend to the top of WWE as quickly and successfully as Conor McGregor did in UFC.

Will WWE Bring Back Starrcade Again -WWE News

WWE may have only just staged Starrcade and brought the show back for the first time in 17 years, but they're already planning on doing it again.

WWE brought back Starrcade a pay-per-view made famous by NWA and then WCW throughout the 1980s and '90s.

Since WWE owns the rights to everything that was WCW, they thought they would try and do something with it, as they have done with a couple of other things lately.

Judging by the reaction to the event, WWE's Starrcade was a roaring success. The show had a great balance of current stars along with performers who made Starrcade great during its heyday.

Arn Anderson doled out a spine buster, Ric Flair introduced his daughter Charlotte for her cage match with Natalya, and Goldust wrestled as 'The Natural' Dustin Rhodes as a tribute to his father and the man who came up with Starrcade in the first place, Dusty Rhodes.

The event was such a success that according to PWInsider WWE have already decided to do it again in 2018.

The first few Starrcades during the early '80s took place at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina and that's where Saturday's event took place. Apparently, ticket sales were great and were actually "the best in a long time for the market.".

The only thing about Saturday night's Starrcade that has left fans scratching their heads is WWE not showing it on their Network.

When it was first announced, the general consensus was that WWE would be airing it as a Network Special but obviously, that didn't happen.

Considering the build and anticipation for the show, it seems like a huge miss on their part, especially after hearing how well the show did for them in-house.

Perhaps if Starrcade 2018 does happen in a year from now, it will be shown on the WWE Network for all to see.

From the Cruiserweight Championship to WarGames to Starrcade, WWE is certainly recycling a lot of WCW's old ideas that they've previously not put to good use.

Perhaps enough time has passed now that Vince McMahon believes that majority of the audience doesn't necessarily relate those concepts to WCW anymore.

Or maybe it's a case of the company trying to bring in a lot of old-school fans from that era that they might have previously lost.
