The midfielder has been a permanent fixture of Jose Mourinho's side and has fitted in seamlessly at Old Trafford following his £35million move from Chelsea over the summer.

The Serbian signalled to come off in the 4-2 victory over Watford in midweek after picking up a muscular injury.

The report goes on to suggest that Mourinho will be eager to get Matic available for the Manchester derby a week on Sunday.
