ok my hair is gross. Can't feel my ass.
we haven't showered in 32 hours
but... this is the sensation of freedom
I just showered. We're putting everything on the motorcycle
Rubén is putting the boxes
and now I'm gonna show you everything we put on
for a trip like this
even if it's one day. Cause safety first peeps
ok this is what we usually wear on a trip
2 special motorycle pants
jackets with pads
helmets
all of these goes inside
cause it's gonna be super cold in Durango
and in this bag that's against water
we put our photography gear
2 cameras
1 go pro
analog camera
and done
always bring cash
its so hot
ok it's super normal
that I go taking photographs while we ride
but the other day the windshield broke
and now we feel the wind super harsh
my head tilts to the back
and every time I try to take a shot
my camera slips away a little
or my cell phone wants to slip too
but all good
but I'm falling asleep a little
yup. I'm sleepy
in this kind of trips
the highway is cool and all
but after a while it's the same view
and with the heat you get sleepy
very necessary to buy coca-cola
or any kind of caffeine
my hear is a mess already
the best things of Sinaloa
is it's dry beef
we're on our way to Mexiquillo
we've been 3 hours on the road
super fast
we're almost there. Well no..
we've drank coke, red bull, electrolite
coffee
good to go
you almost fell?
jajaja
a small bump that's all
whattttt what are you talkin' about
Illich almost fell
because of rocks on the way
these curves are TOO extreme
I wanna pee myself
and ruben is super chill
and seriously I almost peed because of anxiety
ok let's go
these are the most extremes curves we've ever ridden
even more than the ones in Sierra of Oaxaca
ok Bye
so we've just passed the most extreme curves
I've ever been in my life
usually I'm super chill on the motorcycle
but for real
the most extreme curves man!
all the time I was like "f*ck, sh*t, f*ck!"
but well now we're at the military check point
oh and also something really intense we saw
there were 2 trucks like convoys of people
but not of the military
but literally people from the little towns that were armed
I suppose the were the "self defense" convoy of the town
it was so intense to see
they had like huge guns
and they were super chill saying hi and waving at us
really. If you can drive here
you can drive anywhere I'm telling you
this is the most EXTREME road i've ever been in
150 pesos? (8 USD)
no, 1350 pesos (65USD)
huuuuh
and there's no rate for being Monday
I can leave it at 1000 pesos (50 USD)
AUUUUSHH! that's it
thanks Brenda
I put like 2 layers more of clothes beneath this
and I'm gonna put a big hoodie on
and my jacket
cause it's getting super cold
and it's not even dark yet
so great Durango
having all this around and near
people don't take advantage of it enough
just going to parties instead of coming here
exactly
people always tell us like "you guys are rich"
"that's why you travel so much"
i mean people...
if you have a day free. Travel 3 hours
to any direction
and you'll find a place to explore
the cabin cost 1000 pesos (50 USD)
divided in the 3 of us
we're gonna buy food
gas? how much was it?
like 400 pesos (20-25 USD)
plus other extra things to eat
and that's it. It's less than what you'd spend in a night out
travel people. Explore around
what's up with this place
what an incredible place!
how pretty are the waterfalls
i had like 15 years of not coming here
and they're awesome
this is Mexico!
this is Durango!
respect. Seriously
gonna take the drone out
to film this beauty
the best way to transport gear
and us that we forgot
to download the app of drone to film, in your new cellphone
what is wrong with us!
omg. how sad it is we can't fly the drone
so the supermarket is over there?
yes crossing the road
thanks mam!
the water in the waterfalls was super cold
we wet our feet
and my foot is gonna fall now
it's so freakin' cold
drying our shoes and socks
because everything got wet
and ruben is making the 2nd campfire outside
gonna get myself warm
what are you doing seoju?
i'm doing the campfire
you're doing a good job tho
yas
i love fire when it starts to make figures
and here fellas
we're still trying
seoju bringing more heated wood
but apparently we're getting there
I lay on the floor
and I lay on the dirt floor to make this beautiful fire
what score do we give seoju for the fire people?
10!
it looks like we're failing to cook our meal people
well. nothing else to do. When there's no charcoal
this is what we gotta keep doing
its 11 pm! we haven't eaten
since when
we're so hungryyyy
ok. so step 1 and most import to do a barbecue
bring charcoal!
we found a stray dog and want to take him with us!
8 hours after
0 degrees and poor sleep
we're up
we were freezing at night
had to put 3 layers
and ruben and I had to super cuddle to survive
but well. Pretty morning
seoju.. did you take
the wood from the steps?!
we needed wood for the fire!
here it's "The Spine of the Devil"
it's here?
we're in the route 666
look what's up!
how awesome it is
how about those curves man?
incredible
it's the best therapy
these curves are...
they are too hardcore
that's why it's called 666 route
it's because people die a lot here right?
every 10 m there's a little cross dude!
it's just really super dangerous
there's a point the motorcycle goes like this
how much was it in total?
180 pesos (10 USD)
for how many burritos and gorditas?
like 19 .. aahhh kiddin
no, like 10 burritos
it's a lot
and coffee, and water..
ok
can't feel my ass
my hair is super gross
cause with the wind it turns to shit
can't feel my ass again
but.. i'm happy
it were 32 hours of travel
in those 32 hours
we went to a hidden waterfall
saw a garden of rocks that looked like Mars
we rode on the motorcycles
that it's THE definition of freedom
and ate a lot of butter
have clarify that those extreme curves
were super close up AND!
on a high up mountain
and a double road
so if you crashed. You flew out of the mountain
but well we're safe
