✅ Breaking News - Manuel Pellegrini would sell Arnautovic if the price was good for West Ham - Duration: 2:28.

Manuel Pellegrini says he will not stop Marko Arnautovic moving to China if the price is right

Arnautovic wants to quit West Ham for a big-money move to Shanghai SIPG, who are believed to be offering to almost treble his wages

West Ham have turned down an initial bid and maintain they do not want to sell their joint top-scorer, but if a satisfactory offer for the 29-year-old is received, Hammers boss Pellegrini will not stand in his way

Share this article Share 'If I say the player must stay, the player will stay,' he said

'I don't have any problem with the club. In all the months I've been working here I never had any problems with the owners about that

'So they are not forcing me to sell Marko Arnautovic, but I think as a manager the best thing is to take the solution that is best for the player and the club, both together

If they agree, we don't have any problem to change.'I am not telling the club about it

If it's a good deal for both parties we will arrange to be without Marko - but the club doesn't want to sell him

'Two seasons ago Dimitri Payet, another fans' favourite at the London Stadium, refused to play until he got a move back to his former club Marseille

Pellegrini says he does not blame Arnautovic for having his head turned but is convinced the Austrian forward will continue to do his best for the team, even if the move does not come off

'Marko is working with the team without any problem,' said Pellegrini. 'When you have such a high offer, everyone wants to leave but he has a contract here and we will know what will happen about it in the coming days

'Of course you can't blame him, he knows what is the best option for him and now we will see what happens between the clubs

I don't think that the player will refuse to play.' Share this article Share

Premier League transfer news: Deals that could be done before deadline day - Duration: 4:01.

Premier League teams are gearing up for a final push in the January transfer window ahead of deadline day

Clubs have until 11pm on Thursday, January 31 to complete their wheeling and dealing

Chelsea have made the biggest waves in the top flight so far after securing moves for Christian Pulisic and Gonzalo Higuain

However, Arsenal appear ready to strike with Ivan Perisic in their sights. The Inter midfielder has been a long-term target for Manchester United but the Gunners look ready to pounce in a late move for the midfielder

West Ham have been boosted by Marko Arnautovic's contract extension but they could still break their own transfer record in the pursuit of a new mega-money striker

Elsewhere, Manchester United could let one of their veteran stars depart the club but the clock is ticking for a move to materialise

Express Sport has rounded up some of the biggest transfer deals that could happen before the January transfer deadline passes

Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal to Juventus) Ramsey's switch to Juventus has been no secret for several weeks now

The Gunners are resigned to losing their midfield maestro for free in the summer and Guillem Balague claims the deal has been finalised pending an official announcement from both clubs

Antonio Valencia (Man Utd to Newcastle/Fulham) The Ecuadorian star has enjoyed a great spell with the club after transitioning from winger to full-back over the past decade at Old Trafford

But his time in Manchester appears to be over with The Sun claiming Valencia is free to leave with Newcastle and Fulham interested

Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea to Genoa) The Chelsea striker merry-go-round is almost complete following Higuain's switch to Stamford Bridge and Alvaro Morata's move away to Atletico Madrid

Batshuayi's future is the final piece of the puzzle with his loan spell at Valencia on the brink of being cut short

He was expected to sign for Monaco before Thierry Henry was sacked as boss but now reports suggest he could be set for a switch to Genoa

Ivan Perisic (Inter to Arsenal) A deal for Perisic would be one of the biggest of the window if Arsenal can bring him to London Colney

The Inter midfielder has handed in a transfer request according to Inter director Guiseppe Marotta with the Gunners in pole position to claim his signature

Maxi Gomez (Celta Vigo to West Ham) Arnautovic is staying put, but the Hammers could still invest heavily in their frontline with a move for Gomez in the offing

The Guardian claims the Celta Vigo ace has a £43.5million release clause in his contract and that West Ham are ready to trigger it before Thursday

Javier Hernandez (West Ham to Valencia) If Gomez arrives, expect Hernandez to leave the London Stadium following a complicated ordeal with Valencia

Batshuayi is still expected to leave the La Liga side early with Hernandez tipped to replace him

The Hammers striker is angling for a move away according to Sky Sports but only on a permanent basis
