Hudson-Odoi has been subject of four bids from Bayern Munich in the current transfer window

The latest offer from the Bundesliga giant was said to be in the region of £35million

Chelsea have rejected all bids, leading to Hudson-Odoi handing in a transfer request on Saturday

Liverpool have also emerged as a potential destination for the 18-year-old winger

Former Arsenal striker Paul Mariner was asked what he thought of Hudson-Odoi joining Liverpool

And he reckons a move to Anfield would be beneficial for the youngster's career. "Well I wish I was this kid," Mariner said on ESPN FC

"As you say he's in such demand, look at the clubs that are interested in him. "All Chelsea fans are saying 'please sign, please re-sign for us'

"But he's at the stage in his career where he wants to play. "Will he get playing time at [Borussia] Dortmund? Maybe, maybe not

"Bayern he probably would because they're going to get a little bit aged. "For playing time, I'm going to say yes, get yourself moving [to Liverpool]

"Chelsea fans won't be too happy about it." Hudson-Odoi has made just five Premier League appearances for Chelsea and is yet to start in the competition

Tottenham transfer news: Adrien Rabiot would prefer Liverpool move over Spurs - Duration: 3:14.

Spurs have reportedly launched a bid for the Frenchman who is set to leave the Ligue 1 leaders upon the expiry of his contract in the summer

Despite Thomas Tuchel being short in midfield, Rabiot continues to be exiled from the first-team set up after he made the decision not to sign an extension

Sporting director Antero Henrique is furious that PSG will lose him on a free transfer and ordered the German boss not to select him again

Barcelona and Bayern Munich have both reportedly held negotiations with his entourage but now Tottenham have entered the fray

PSG are desperate to sell the player this month and Paris United claim that the north London club have tabled a £4million signing fee with a contract worth £6

5m per year to Rabiot. Daniel Levy has a good relationship with PSG after successfully signing Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura from the club

But the same report claims that Rabiot is now hesitating on the offer from Tottenham and is taking his time to reflect before making a decision

On the one hand the idea of living in London is very appealing, especially to reunite with his former team-mates Aurier and Moura

However Rabiot's preferred destination in the Premier League is Liverpool if he is ever to move to England

Jurgen Klopp was said to be monitoring the 23-year-old but they have since cooled off their interest

Rabiot revealed back in October before he was frozen out of the PSG squad, that he used to support the Reds as a boy

"There are a lot of very good leagues. It's also enriching to go elsewhere, but for the moment I'm happy at PSG," he told RMC Sport

"I would love to play in the Premier League. There's not necessarily any club in particular, even though when I was young I was a big Liverpool fan

"Yes, I can understand that my ambition, my impatience can annoy some people. "But the main thing is that it has been useful to me, today I am here, sometimes you have to dare to say things

" Rabiot is free to talk to any clubs from now as he enters the final six months of his deal and could still leave PSG before the window closes
