what is going on Etsy sellers?!?! hope you're having a wonderful day today I'm

just making this video to show you a new feature that may be rolling out to

everyone I spoke to a few my friends and they don't seem to have it yet you may

have it right now but but anyway it's right here click on this and it's

notifications and what you can see is different shops new items in their shop

new item in your shop and then what else there is an item you favorite it is now

on sale so that's pretty cool so that'll bring a lot of like return

people back to your shop because that is one of the biggest downfalls with

selling on Etsy and I think Etsy knows that and wants to compete with you know

standalone platforms like Shopify and other platforms like that which is why

they've introduced zero fees on the pattern websites and the email

retargeting as well so they're really really trying really hard to make it a

complete ecommerce platform for for bigger brands and this is how they're

doing it and this is pretty nice actually you know like once you put uh

something on sale or something like that all the shoppers that have interacted

with your shop for example I've favored at these shops so now I get their

notifications and that's awesome so that's why you should be doing shop

update stuff like that I wonder if they're going to roll this out to

everybody and also maybe include some other types of things like shop updates

or anything like that which would would would be really powerful for for us as

shop owners you know so that's really cool I'm sure you could abuse this

somehow to you could like only have your shop go on a 10% sale right every single

day and have it end every single day and then start it every

single day so that way everyone gets a notification that says Oh an item you

favorite it is on sale so they get that every single day I'm sure there's other

ways you could abuse it too so that's the new feature I don't know

if they're gonna be showing it or giving it to everybody right away or maybe this

is just a test or maybe I shouldn't even be showing this I don't I never like

agreed to any anything and and like said no I won't show this to anybody but this

is what I'm seeing and as you can see it actually is not on Chrome this is my

same profile and it's not on Chrome maybe that's because I should like

logout Andry login I don't know it's on Firefox right now though it's only on

Firefox notifications maybe you've had this and you haven't noticed or and I'm

just now realizing it or this seems new to me I talked to a few friends like I

said and they don't have it anyway in other etsy news Etsy will be featured on

this show making it which is on NBC that's pretty cool

it'll give that see some really some Maine's mainstream exposure and let's

see on the map a little bit more everybody seems to know Amazon and eBay

and a lot of people know Etsy nowadays as well but now even more people will

know about Etsy calm and they'll they'll you know it'll legitimize Etsy a lot

more and you got like this guy Nick Offerman so up Nick he's like one of the

hosts right and then I don't know who this is but we're gonna draw on her face

anyway it's up lady I don't know who these people are so we're gonna draw on

their face too didn't work on this out there we go so what's up hey how you

doing what color should we do do some blue on them some blueberry so girl love

your teeth anyway this is some good news for add see you guys in July 31st on NBC

you could check it out maybe it'll be like one of those like

challenge shows where you have to make crazy stuff mix and match earrings

wedding jump shoot suits and celestial everything unearthing the next big

weight okay that's not about the show never mind that's just about this lady
