 Manchester United supremo Woodward is under pressure from Mourinho to sign his top targets with the transfer deadline creeping closer

 The Red Devils want a centre-back and a winger to sign before the new Premier League season, with Willian, Ivan Perisic, Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire and Yerry Mina all linked

 Manchester United have signed Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant already but Mourinho feels more is required if the club are to win the title

 The Manchester Evening News claim Woodward was due to jet out to Miami, where the club are currently in action on their pre-season tour

 However, it is said he 'may not make the flight', with the implication that he will instead continue to work on their transfer business

 United are keen to balance the books before making further additions with three casualties on the cards

 Anthony Martial is expected to leave if the club receive a bid in the region of £70million, with the 22-year-old being tracked by Chelsea, Tottenham and Bayern Munich

 Matteo Darmian is hellbent on returning to Italy amid links to Juventus and Napoli

 And Marcos Rojo will supposedly be allowed to leave if the club sign a new defender

 The MEN add there is a growing fear that this summer could be a repeat of the 2013 transfer window

 Then, the club were trying to get the David Moyes era off to a flier with Gareth Bale and Thiago Alcantara both linked

 However, it did not work out. United ended the transfer window with just Marouane Fellaini to show for their efforts

 And Mourinho is facing similar disappointment if the Red Devils fail to land the players he wants

Lewandowski blow Manchester United's hopes of signing Robert Lewandowski this summer have been dealt a blow with Niko Kovac insisting that the striker will be going nowhere

 The striker's agent stated earlier this summer that Lewandowski has made it clear to Bayern Munich that he wants to seek a new challenge elsewhere

 However, Bayern boss Kovac insists Lewandowski, the club's top scorer in all of the last three league seasons, is not for sale - even if the front-man wants to leave the Allianz Arena

 "There's nothing new with Robert, it's clear that he will not leave this club because we have a top striker and we certainly do not want to relinquish him or give him away," he said

 "We want to achieve a lot with him. He is a great footballer, who has achieved a lot in the Bundesliga, scored many goals and now in the new season certainly will score many goals

Amazon Echo challenges Google Home with this useful feature ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:17.

AMAZON Echo has been gifted a brand new feature that is set to challenge Google Home as both

continue to fight for smart speaker dominance.

Amazon has announced its Echo line of products will receive an incredible new feature that

will allow Alexa to give more precise details about local businesses.

The tech giant has partnered with Yext, a company specialising in business data that

is distilled from the likes of Google and Facebook.

This will allow users access to precise phone numbers, addresses and opening hours of businesses

around them.

Howard Lerman, the founder and CEO of the digital knowledge specialist, insisted the

partnership will allow Alexa to provide more "authoritative" answers to users.

Yext attempts to bring users the most precise answers possible by partnering with businesses

directly to ensure information is correct.

This means, in theory, if a business is closing early on a bank holiday it will notify Yext

who would then work with Amazon to ensure hours are updated when a user asks their Echo.

The update is currently available in the UK, US and Australia among others but will both

companies plan to radically expand the roll out in the future.

Prior to the new partnership the Amazon Echo would pull data from Yelp, a review forum,

that would identify similar information that may not have been as precise.

This allowed users to ask what the most popular Chinese restaurant was near them for instance

and get an answer from Alexa.

The update provides a radical challenge to Google Home that also offers similar functionality.

The Silicon Valley giant's speaker is able to obtain information from its vast Google

Maps and Search data pool.

Over the years Google has got much better about updating the app information that is

subject to change such as business opening hours.

On instances Google is uncertain on whether business hours will be affected on a bank

holiday for instance it will alert users by saying they may be subject to change.
