Arsenal told Lazio that Spanish forward Lucas Perez is available for £7m.

The 29-year-old is being allowed to leave North London this summer after having no impressive

performance at the club.

Perez has only 11 times out of the pitch for the Gunners since he moved from Deportivo

in 2016.

The man had previously spent the season before loan back at his old club, scoring eight goals

at the La Liga side.

And since his returned to his parents club, it does not appear that he is in the new Unai

Emery management plan.

The appearance of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has increased competition for position in

the attack with Alexandre Lacazette and Danny Welbeck as well ahead of the Perez in pecking

order.

According to the Italian publication Corriere di Roma, the Gunners have set their request

price at just £7m for the striker.

Lazio is on the market for a front as they look to reinforce their lineup for next season.

And the Serie A club's sporting director Igli Tare is believed to be confident that

an agreement can be concluded before the start of the Serie A campaign.

Management Simone Inzaghi has the money to spend after selling Brazilian Felipe Anderson

to West Ham for £36m.

Other stars Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile can also be on the way out with some

of Europe's leading teams sniffing around the pair.

Milinkovic-Savic was linked to Manchester United and Real Madrid although he was still

at the club with Lazio requesting about £100m for the player.

Immobile, the main source of Lazio in target, has also been associated with a move away

this summer.

If he stayed, putting in the Perez would certainly reduce dependence on the Italian hitman however

the record was 29 goals in the 33 Serie a match last season.

Chelsea transfer news: Blues prepare 'monster offer' for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic - Duration: 3:30.

Milinkovic-Savic has forged a reputation as one of the brightest rising stars in Serie A by impressing at the Stadio Olimpico

And the 23-year-old has been touted for a move to one of Europe's biggest clubs this summer, with Manchester United keen admirers

Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have likewise been credited with serious interest in prising Milinkovic-Savic away from Lazio

While Chelsea has emerged as an option following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte's replacement earlier this month

Italian newspaper Il Tempo claim Chelsea have "come forward in a concrete way" in "the last few hours"

And they have supposedly prepared a "monster offer" to secure Milinkovic-Savic's services

Lazio chief Claudio Lotito still wants £134m (€150m) for the Serbia international, who featured at the World Cup

And he could see a bidding war ensue with Real, Juventus and Manchester City said to be keen on Milinkovic-Savic

Milinkovic-Savic was granted an extra day of leave and is expected to arrive at Lazio's training camp today

However, he could soon be on the way to one of their Serie A rivals if his father gets his way

Nikola Milinkovic revealed earlier this summer that he wants his son to head to Juventus

"I've told him many times that Juventus would be perfect for him, the ideal club," said Milinkovic

"In Turin there is a prestigious club with multiple trophies that has been dominating the scene for years

He'd have the opportunity to grow and improve until reaching full maturity. "After three seasons in Rome, Sergej knows the Italian championship perfectly, he has settled and integrated in a big way, he has learned the language well

"With top quality teammates like Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa and so forth, he could win the Scudetto, Coppa Italia and why not give an important contribution to triumph in the Champions League? "Juve always go far in that competition and if they were to win the most prestigious trophy, Sergej could even dream of the Ballon d'Or

"It's true, but he could go to Spain after he turns 25, when he has completed his football maturity in Italy

That's what Zinedine Zidane did." Milinkovic-Savic is not the only midfielder in Chelsea's sights, with Arsenal ace Aaron Ramsey on their radar as well
