Arsenal have been tipped to raid Barcelona for Dembele with the 21-year-old's future in Catalonia shrouded in uncertainty

The Gunners have already had a good first transfer window under Emery, splashing out to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi

Arsenal, however, want one more signing with Dembele heavily linked. The player reportedly wants to leave Barcelona after the club signed Malcom from Bordeaux, beating Roma to his signature in a £36million deal

And journalist Marin, who is followed by Emery on Twitter, claims Gunners chief Sven Mislintat has already contacted Barcelona over a deal for Dembele before

He said: "The German Sven Mislintat has in the @Arsenal three former players of the @BVB Aubameyang, Sokratis and Mkhitaryan

"If Dembele, angry, wants to leave the Barça after the signing of Malcolm, it is logical to think of a transfer to #Arsenal and Mislintant already posed to Barça before

" Barcelona, so far, have claimed Dembele will not be going anywhere. Ernesto Valverde said in May: "He's an incredible talent, technically outstanding, he's quick, a difference-maker

"Maybe he needs to work on defence a little bit and some other areas. Maybe putting on pressure after we lose the ball

"But we know he's young, he's had a tough season and we hope he will continue to develop next year

"  Yet Malcom's arrival at the Nou Camp may work in Arsenal's favour. Prising him away from Barcelona, however, will be difficult

The Catalan giants paid a massive £134million to sign the winger from Borussia Dortmund a year ago

And they may demand big-money to let him go in order to avoid taking a massive loss

As well as Arsenal, Liverpool have been backed to sign the forward, but Jurgen Klopp may opt against a deal having already spent over £170m so far

F1 news: Daniel Ricciardo promised reunion at Red Bull to sign new contract - Duration: 2:31.

F1 news: Daniel Ricciardo promised reunion at Red Bull to sign new contract Ricciardo's future remains uncertain with no word as of yet on what he plans to do beyond this season. He has dropped subtle hints about leaving to embark on a new adventure but with Mercedes tying up both Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton to extensions last week, his only other option could be Ferrari.

Kimi Raikkonen could be set to lose his seat at Ferrari come the end of the year but the F1 giants are seemingly leaning towards Sauber rookie Charles Leclerc to be Sebastian Vettel's team-mate for 2019 and beyond. It means Ricciardo could be forced to re-sign with Red Bull and the UK-based team have already put plans in place to make the Australian's decision a little easier.

According to , Red Bull are recruiting Mike Lugg for the 2019 season with an offer for him to be Ricciardo's new race engineer. Lugg worked with his fellow countryman at Carlin when Ricciardo clinched the 2009 British Formula 3 title. And having finished his work with the DS Virgin Formula E team, he is set to join Red Bull for the remainder of the season to gain experience before taking over from Simon Rennie.

Ricciardo heads into the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend aiming to finish on the podium for the first time since his victory in Monaco back in May. He suffered another engine problem last time out in the German Grand Prix, leaving him fifth in the driver's standings.

The 29-year-old was quickest in FP1 earlier today, pipping Vettel, but he expects a close race on Sunday between the top three teams. "I'm not sure who is going to be the favourite this weekend," he said. "I really think all three are going to be really close. I'm going to predict, after me, the rest of the field will be within one tenth, the other five! "It should be close, I hope it's close, for all six cars.".

Arsenal news : Unai Emery reveals update on Gunners captaincy decision ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:20.

Arsenal's captaincy decision has yet to be resolved, Unai Emery has revealed.

The Spanish boss, replacing Arsene Wenger after 22 years in charge, said last month

that he intends to establish a five-man leadership group in the first-team squad.

Per Mertesacker was the Gunners' previous captain but he retired to become part of the

club's academy structure.

Meanwhile Laurent Koscielny, who filled in as skipper last term as Mertesacker made only

six Premier League appearances, is expected to miss almost half of the season due to an

Achilles tendon injury suffered in May.

Petr Cech, Jack Wilshere, Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey were among those to don the armband

in the Premier League last season.

But Wilshere has since left, Cech's future is uncertain with summer signing Bernd Leno

to be Emery's No 1 and Ramsey is yet to sign a new contract having entered the final

year of his existing deal.

And while Emery has hinted that Ramsey would be among his prime candidates for the role

if he stays on at the Emirates, the 46-year-old says he has yet to settle on his new first-choice

leader despite their league campaign getting underway in a fortnight.

"This is not yet official, this decision," Emery told journalists after Arsenal lost

on penalties to Atletico Madrid in the International Champions Cup in Singapore.

"I said to you I want five captains in the team, then the numbers we are going to give

to them, the first, the second, third, four and five.

"But Aaron has the condition to be one of the captains."

Ramsey could be sold this summer if he does not commit his future to the north London

club with Arsenal facing losing him on a free transfer if he does not extend his terms.

That's despite the Welshman understood to be key to Emery's plans and even possibly

the club's new on-pitch leader.
