According to The Times, this clause can be triggered after two seasons, meaning Arsenal could potentially dismiss the Spaniard one year before the end of his three-year deal
This means if Emery is sacked, he will not be paid the full value of his remaining contract
The Times claim Arsenal officials were keen to avoid the situation United found themselves in after the dismissal of David Moyes
The Scot was handed a six-year deal upon his arrival at Old Trafford.However, Moyes was sacked before the end of his first season in charge
Emery was only given a two-year contract at former club PSG, who relieved him of his duties earlier this year
