 Perisic has told Inter he wants to leave the club after nearly four years at the San Siro

 Following his declaration to Inter, he was left on the bench in Sunday's defeat to Torino

 His coach at Inter, Luciano Spalletti said: "It's a player that has been talked about because everyone values him as much as we do, and if anyone wants to buy him they will need to pay him good money because we rate him a lot

" While Inter director Guiseppe Marotta told Sky Italia that they will try to "satisfy" Perisic by letting him leave

 And the Croatia international's new club could be Arsenal. The Gunners are keen on signing Perisic on loan in the remaining days of the January transfer window with an option to buy for £34

5million in the summer. Inter have rejected Arsenal's offer and it remains to be seen if they will come back in for the attacker

 However, Inter do appear to be preparing for Perisic's exit. According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Inter don't want to sell Perisic unless they get their value of him is matched

 But the report says if he does leave, Udinese's De Paul is their preferred option

 It is claimed Inter officials want to conclude a deal to sign De Paul for the summer

 Inter vice president Javier Zanetti has reportedly spoken with De Paul in a bid to convince him to join them over Napoli

 Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang dropped a hint that he wants Arsenal to sign Perisic by liking a post on Instagram which stated the winger has "asked to leave" Inter

 But former Everton midfielder Leon Osman reckons Arsenal need defenders instead of attackers

 "I think Arsenal have got a terrific attacking force at the moment but where they seem to lack is defensively," he said on BBC's Match of the Day

 "With Holding, Sokratis, Bellerin all long-term absentees, Xhaka finishing that game in centre-half, it's defensively where you'd expect them to strengthen if they are to keep moving forward
