Ahead of another big summit between North Korea and the United States,... Pyeongyang

and Beijing seek to boost their ties once again, this time through a North Korean arts

performance in China.

While celebrating decades of diplomatic ties, the two countries could also have coordinated

strategies for the upcoming Pyeongyang-Washington summit.

Oh Jung-hee reports.

North Korea and China are forging stronger ties once again ahead of the North Korea-U.S.

summit.

According to Chinese media outlets, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with North Korea's

Ri Su-yong in Beijing on Sunday and watched a performance by a visiting North Korean art

troupe.

A group of about 280 North Korean artists went to the Chinese capital last week after

being invited by China's ruling party... and Ri Su-yong, who heads Pyeongyang's International

Department, led the group.

This was the first performance by North Korean artists in China since December 2015.

Pyeongyang and Beijing celebrated their 70 years of diplomatic relations, while exchanging

messages of (quote)"cordial greetings" and (quote)"profound friendship."

But while showing their strong ties, Chinese President also took the opportunity to say...

that Beijing will pursue an active role in denuclearization talks.

Mentioning he's had four summits with the North Korean leader since 2018, Xi highlighted

that Beijing is ready to work with Pyeongyang in achieving world peace and stability.

The concert comes three weeks after Kim Jong-un crossed over to Beijing for the fourth time

earlier this year to discuss strategies on nuclear negotiations.

And it also comes a month before the second North Korea-U.S. summit, expected to be held

in late February.

Pundits believe Kim Jong-un and Xi Jinping could have exchanged opinions once again on

the upcoming summit to coordinate strategies... through the visiting North Korean delegation.

Fox Sport News - Slashed Everton fan admits he 'can't look at himself in the mirror' - Duration: 11:04.

This is the shocking image of the Everton fan slashed during a fight with Millwall supporters before the clubs' FA Cup tie on Saturday

Jay Burns, who posted the picture on Facebook, needed dozens of stitches after the violent showdown

He posted on social media: 'Thanks to everyone messaging me. I appreciate it, checking up on me

Absolutely devastated about my face, nice one to all the Everton lads and everyone who has messaged me and the Liverpool lads who have messaged me

I can't even look at me self in the mirror.'     A football fan has shown his scar following the Millwall v Everton FA Cup match on Saturday Shocking scenes shows Millwall and Everton fans fighting before Saturday's FA Cup clash Footage appears to show the moment the fan was slashed by a blade during a mass brawl between Everton and Millwall fans  A fan clutches his face after appearing to be hit in the face with a weapon by another supporter He stumbles as he tries to back away from the attack before eventually falling at the feet of the crowd The fan walked away with a nasty slash to the face following the mass brawl before the game Everton and Millwall fans clashed outside of Surrey Quays station on Saturday afternoon Britain's top football police officer told Sportsmail that the mass violence was part of a persistent criminality which the football authorities are too often ready to ignore

As well as the slashing, a mother described a brick being hurled through the window of the Everton coach on which she and her 10-year-old daughter were travelling to the tie, which Millwall won 2-1

But Millwall's condemnation of fans on Sunday was limited to reports of racist chanting outside the ground, while the Football Association indicated that violence away from the ground was well beyond their jurisdiction

Deputy Chief Constable Mark Roberts, the National Police Chiefs Council Football Lead said: 'Anyone who thinks this doesn't happen on a regular basis would be very naive

It is a bit too easy for everyone else to say "It's nothing to do with us." For every high profile incident there are at least a dozen episodes which are not reported because officers have dealt with them

'Other forces called on to deal with football-related violence on Saturday included South Yorkshire, after skirmishes broke out between Doncaster Rovers and Oldham Athletic fans ahead of their tie, which Rovers won 2-1

Clubs' insistence that they will only pay for policing in a narrowly defined area around grounds is a source of mounting frustration to cash-strapped senior officers, who find themselves tackling criminality around multiple kick-off times

One leading Premier League club which was condemning racist behaviour at its ground before Christmas has engaged lawyers to find ways of reducing the money they pay to police

'That is rank hypocrisy,' Mr Roberts said.'Police are picking up the tab on people who are only there because of the football match and the service to the rest of the public is eroded

People need to take a broader responsibility.'YouTube footage of the clashes between dozens of supporters outside a block of flats in east London suggest that two groups of fans were intent on violence before the 5

30pm kick-off.Liverpool-based Vision Coaches, which took Everton fans down to east London, told Sportsmail that the four vehicles which arrived on time at 4pm parked up safely

But a fifth was late, arriving at 5pm, and became caught in the crossfire, incurring damage totalling £10,000

The windscreen cracked and three windows smashed.        The two sets of supporters fought by Southwark Park in the build-up to kick off at The Den Police officers on horses and on foot eventually broke up the brawl at 4

30pm Everton supporter Lynsey Phippard, 36, told the Liverpool Echo that she had swapped seats with her 10-year-old daughter minutes before a brick was thrown through the window, at around 5

05pm.'Three windows got smashed,' said Ms Phippard. 'There were two on one side and one on the other which is the one that me and my daughter were sat next to

I swapped places with her [because I saw it looked like trouble.] The coach was full of women and quite a few older people, so not fans looking for trouble

' Ms Phippard said the driver was forced to abandon his attempts to get the bus to the ground

More fights broke out between Everton and Millwall supporters in the build up to kick off Everton fans goaded Millwall supporters who were penned into a pub beer garden Missiles and objects were thrown from the beer garden before Everton fans threw them backThe eye-witness testimony of residents in Millwall pointed to pre-mediated violence

One, who did not wish to be named, told Sportsmail: 'We saw a load of fans pouring out of the Farriers pub - a Millwall pub - and they had clearly arranged to meet the Everton fans by the park for a scrap

It's 15 minutes from the stadium so it clearly seemed pre-arranged. 'The fans had scarves over their face to hide their identity but police had cameras on them

It was very scary. We were going to go down to Surrey Quays station to see friends but stayed at home to stay out of trouble

'A local grocer said: 'I saw fans scrapping outside another pub. They were shouting "f*** you, f*** you" and barging into each other

It's where the Millwall fans go before the game so I'm not sure why Everton fans were going there

'Before the game, Sportsmail witnessed more than 20 police escorting Everton fans on the train from London Bridge to South Bermondsey

The fans were held at station on arrival as police had a tip-off that Millwall fans would be waiting at other end

Millwall fans confront arriving Everton supporters outside of The Den before kick-off The Everton supporters, many of whom already appeared drunk, exchanged verbal insults with Millwall fans in the distance before being shepherded to the away end upon exiting the station

Everton said they were working with the authorities to help investigate and encouraged fans to relate their experiences

The Football Supporters Federation said they 'condemned all football violence' yet said the broader significance of the Millwall episode should not be overstated

A spokesman said: 'While there is no room for complacency, the overwhelming majority of fans want nothing to do with such behaviour

'The FA will investigate alleged discriminatory chants by home Millwall supporters

Social media videos alleged there were derogatory chants about Muslims. Millwall condemned the chanting and said anyone identified would receive a life ban

Tottenham transfer news: Is this the clue Adrien Rabiot deal is ON? Fans will like this - Duration: 2:58.

The midfielder is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiry of his contract

Sporting director Antero Henrique requested that Adrien Rabiot was frozen out of the first team set up after he refused to sign a new deal

PSG are desperate to sell the player this month and Paris United claim that the north London club have tabled a £4million signing fee with a contract worth £6

5m per year to Rabiot. The 23-year-old remains hesitant on a deal amid claims if he is to move to the Premier League he would rather join Liverpool

Daniel Levy has a good relationship with the Ligue 1 leaders having already previously signed Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura

And the Ivorian has hinted that his former teammate maybe on his way to north London for a reunion

He posted a picture of him whispering in Rabiot's ear on Instagram accompanied with praying hands and a love heart emoji

The stunt has given Tottenham supporters hope that a potential move can materialise

There is a chance the picture may have been dedicated from Aurier in reference to Rabiot's £21,000 donation towards the search for Emiliano Sala, who went missing on his flight to Cardiff from Nantes earlier this week

His family set up a donation page to fund to continuation of the search after it was stopped by Guernsey Police

Former Arsenal striker and ESPN FC pundit Paul Marriner has claimed that he can see a deal happening and that Tottenham is a good fit for the player

"Yes [Tottenham would suit him]," Mariner said. "I like this lad a lot. I think they [PSG] do need to keep him but I don't think they can or will keep him

"I think there will be other suitors as well. I think he's already made his mind up that he wants to leave PSG

"So I'm going to say for him, yep, it's going to happen [to Tottenham]." Tuchel is keen to have Rabiot reintegrated into his team but has had his requests turned away by the board

PSG have not yet given up in their pursuit of Everton's Idrissa Gana Gueye. They remain close to finalising a deal for Zenit St-Petersburg star Leandro Paredes who was set to join Chelsea

Extra reinforcements in midfield could see the Parisians force Rabiot through the exit door before the end of the month

Julian Weigl and Abdoulaye Doucoure have also been linked with moves to the Parc des Princes
