Wales manager Ryan Giggs admitted last week he is concerned about the injury-prone midfielder having to visit Cardiff so close to the international window

Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock was full of admiration for Ramsey but revealed little to ease Giggs fears

"I don't blame Ryan for being nervous," Warnock said. "Aaron is a top player. I hope we can rough him up

"Needs must."  Ramsey still holds the record for being Cardiff's youngest player to make his first-team debut, aged 16 years and 124 days

Warnock understands that Ramsey is revered by fans in Wales and would welcome him back to Cardiff

Ramsey is out of contract with Arsenal next summer and has yet to agree a new deal with the club

"Every time I watch Wales, every time I watch Arsenal, I just think he does everything

He is a complete player," Warnock said. "I'd love him to be here. "He could be captain as well - I don't think Mozza (Sean Morrison) would mind

We would get him an apartment - you name it!" Cardiff have yet to win a game in the Premier League this season but Warnock insists his team will not be intimidated by the opposition

"I want to do the best we can to give them a game in the other half as well as our own half

"We'd get beat anyhow if we just sat back, so we want to give the fans something to cheer

"  Warnock also had a warning for Harry Arter to cool down with his challenges declaring: "We need you on the pitch!" The loan signing from Bournemouth has been involved in several unsavoury clashes this season

Arter was fortunate to escape with a booking against Newcastle after hacking down Javier Manquillo

And it was a similar story at Huddersfield when a confrontation led to Arter hitting the deck – and a red card for Town's Jonathan Hogg

Arsenal face Cardiff City in South Wales on Sunday with kick-off at 1.30pm.

Arsenal news: Unai Emery reveals he's ready to use long-ball football to win - Duration: 3:16.

The new Gunners boss loves the passing football served up by fellow Spaniard Pep Guardiola at Manchester City but will order muscle and might to achieve a win, starting at Cardiff on Sunday

Emery knows the Welsh club's boss Neil Warnock has achieved success with aggressive football and firing long balls into the box

Wenger's successor won three successive Europa League titles with Seville by adapting his approach and that won't change

The 46-year-old knows Arsenal need success and said: "I will do what it needs to win matches

Others might not like it but we are in the win business.  "I prefer to play the game as it should be played but you also have to adapt

I play to win every match, certainly to improve our away record. "Now we are going to play against Cardiff away and my thoughts are only on how we can win, not to think about the past

"My concentration with the players is the next match and how we can win. The data behind us is clear but I want to write a new data, a new present, a new future with Arsenal

For that my focus is only how we can win this Sunday." And Emery insists their victory over West Ham last time out, following defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea, is just the start

"There are a lot of details we need to improve," he added. "There are situations where we need to have more control

"We want to show on Sunday we are improving. We need more control, more with the ball, more with our positioning, more when we close the ball

"But it depends on the opposition. I have played long ball before, yes, a lot – in Spain, in France, in Russia

"There are a lot of ways for you to choose to find the win. Sunday is one match we need the adaptation to their idea

But all respect for me for this idea because in Spain I played it often. In moments I play like that because I think it's the best way for us to win

During the 90 minutes you need to play a lot of different ways to win." Emery also paid tribute to Warnock and said: "I understand Mr Warnock is very competitive and I like this spirit

"I think in football you need to be competitive, you need quality and you need to be organised

You need to push and to be competitive in each moment and with the players. His career is a good career for that
