Liverpool transfer news: Southampton star Virgil van Dijk is on his way
Van Dijk left Southamptons training ground earlier today as talk of a move to Liverpool rumbles on.
The Reds - as well as rivals Arsenal and Chelsea - have been tipped to sign the Holland international despite Southamptons insistence he is not for sale.
There was much speculation on Twitter as to where Van Dijk was going after being pictured leaving earlier today. But former star Thompson says the defender is on his way to Merseyside.
