Injustice 2 Games 101 - Everything You Need To Know - Duration: 3:22.

This is Mack, for GameRevolution, here to get you caught up on everything you need to

know about Injustice 2, ahead of its May 16th release.

Developed by NetherRealm and published by Warner Bros., Injustice 2 is playable on PS4

and Xbox One.

There's also a mobile app which ties into these console versions.

In Injustice 2, following High Councilor Superman's defeat, Batman and his insurgency attempt

to piece society back together, while struggling against the remnants of Superman's regime.

To make this restoration more difficult, a new group of villains led by Gorilla Grodd

has appeared, along with supervillain Brainiac.

Earth faces threats from all angles, and the planet is becoming a very crowded place indeed,

with the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Atrocitus, Gorilla

Grodd, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, The Flash, Blue Beetle, Bane, Poison Ivy, Brainiac, Robin,

Black Canary, Swamp Thing, Catwoman, Cheetah, Cyborg, Dr. Fate, Green Lantern, Firestorm,

Green Arrow, Black Adam, Captain Cold, Scarecrow, and the Joker all available to play.

Additionally, Darkseid has been made available as a pre-order bonus.

There are also nine planned post-launch DLC characters, including Red Hood, Starfire,

and Sub-Zero.

That's a lot of characters, and the variety is made even more substantial when you consider

the game's character customization.

Players can personalize these iconic DC heroes with unique and powerful gear earned throughout

the game.

Additionally, and for the first time ever, gamers can take control of how their characters

look, fight, and develop across a variety of game modes.

Every battle brings the opportunity to earn new gear.

It's going to be interesting to see how gear affects online matchmaking and balanced

gameplay.

Speaking of gameplay, this sequel will retain a lot of the original's mechanics, including

environment interaction, stage transitions, clashes, character traits, and the super meter.

Most gameplay improvements are minor, with tweaks to walk speed, additional escape methods,

and improved anti-airs some of the things you'll notice.

Injustice 2 implements a premium currency microtransaction, though it apparently can't

be used to purchase Gear or give an advantage in gameplay.

It's for cosmetic features only.

Beyond the campaign, players can try their hand at Multiverse challenges.

These employ modifiers to change how the game plays.

Complete these short tower sequences to reap new rewards.

Hoping to build an enthusiastic community around the game, Injustice 2 will include

a Guild system, where players can team up to complete more challenges and earn greater

rewards.

There's also the planned Championship Series, which will have professional eSports teams

battling it out across the globe.

There are three editions of the game available: the Standard Edition, which is just the base

game; the Digital Deluxe edition, which gets you 3 DLC fighters, a unique skin for Supergirl,

and a shader pack; and finally there's the Ultimate Edition, which comes with the full

9 DLC fighters, unique skins for Supergirl, The Flash and Green Lantern, in addition to

the Destroyer and Defender Shader packs.

It's $60 for the Standard, $80 for the Digital Deluxe, and $100 for the Ultimate Edition.

And that's that for this episode of Games 101.

Health Benefits And Side Effects Of Turmeric Vs Curcumin - health - Duration: 20:03.

Health Benefits And Side Effects Of Turmeric Vs. Curcumin

Turmeric and curcumin have many health benefits but pay attention to their differences and

side effects. Learn if they work better as food or supplements

Historically spices were treasured for the unique flavors they brought to food and for

their healing properties.

Most spices provide some medicinal benefits.

But one spice that stands above the rest is turmeric.

The health benefits of turmeric are regularly in the news. Its been reported as a potential

treatment for diseases as diverse as arthritis, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, psoriasis,

and Alzheimers.

But does this spice live up to its press?

And can you get the benefits you want just from the food you eat? Or do you need to take

a turmeric supplement?

What are the differences between turmeric and curcumin?

Are there any side effects or drug interactions to watch out for?

Heres what we found out.

It Starts with Turmeric

You may have heard the words curry powder, turmeric and curcumin used interchangeably.

They are related but they arent the same thing.

Turmeric is a spice that comes from the root of Curcuma longa, a beautiful flowering tropical

plant native to India.

Cooking residue found on pottery shards shows that people in parts of Asia cooked with turmeric

4,500 years ago.

Turmeric is one of several spices used to make curry powder, an essential ingredient

in south Asian cuisine.

Its usually used dry but the root can also be grated fresh like ginger.

Turmeric has hundreds of known components but its mainly curcumin that gives this

spice its distinctive golden hue.

Curcumin is the active ingredient that makes this spice gold for your health as well.

Traditional Turmeric Health Benefits

Turmeric has been used for healing for thousands of years going back to Ayurveda, Indias

5,000-year-old natural healing system.

This versatile spice was used internally to improve digestion, dissolve gallstones, relieve

arthritis, and alleviate symptoms of allergies and colds.

It was applied externally for wounds and skin conditions.

It was also used as a beauty treatment.

Soaps and creams containing turmeric are experiencing a surge in popularity today.

Turmeric paste is still applied to the skin of both the bride and groom in a ceremony

before marriage in some parts of India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan to beautify skin and as a form

of good luck.

The Curcumin Quandary

Unlike turmeric, which has been used for healing for thousands of years, curcumin was identified

only about 100 years ago.

Curcumin is extracted from turmeric for its strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

But if youre looking for optimal medicinal value from curcumin, theres a quandary.

Curcumin makes up only about 3% of most turmeric powders. And curry powders generally contain

very little of the stuff.

Curcumin either in turmeric or on its own is not very well absorbed.

In fact, studies show that 40-85% of curcumin supplements pass through the intestines unchanged.

Scientists are working on high-tech ways to make curcumin more bioavailable like using

nanoparticles or combining it with phosphatidylserine.

But it turns out that ancient cuisines worked out the answer to getting full turmeric benefits

thousands of years ago.

By adding black pepper to curry powder mix, it greatly increases the bioavailability of

curcumin.

Its now known that the compound piperine found in black pepper increases curcumin absorption

by a whopping 2000%.

The bioavailability of curcumin is also increased when cooked in oil. Again, tradition has this

covered.

Indian cuisine liberally uses peanut, sesame and coconut oil, and butter-based ghee.

Boiling turmeric in water, as is done to make turmeric tea, also increases bioavailability.

Proven Health Benefits of Curcumin and Turmeric

Turmeric contains hundreds of compounds, each with its own unique properties.

So far, turmeric has been found to contain at least 20 compounds that are antibiotic,

14 known cancer preventatives, 12 that are anti-tumor, 12 anti-inflammatory, and at least

10 antioxidants.

But of all the compounds in turmeric, curcumin is by far the most promising and is definitely

the most widely studied.

Curcumin benefits are derived from its natural anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral,

antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-cancer properties.

A quick look on Google Scholar gives over 160,000 results for scientific studies done

on turmeric and curcumin health benefits.

More research has been done on curcumin since its an isolated compound with effects that

are more drug-like than a kitchen spice.

Heres a list of conditions that turmeric and curcumin have been found to help along

with examples of promising scientific findings.

Allergies and Asthma

Allergies and asthma have been on the rise, particularly in industrialized countries.

Curcumin can help alleviate the symptoms of allergies by inhibiting histamine release

from mast cells.

It reduces both the inflammation and bronchospasms experienced by asthma sufferers.

Alzheimers Disease

One of the most exciting turmeric benefits is that it may prevent Alzheimers.

Elderly villagers in India who eat turmeric as a regular part of their cuisine have the

lowest rate of Alzheimers in the world.

This isnt a coincidence.

Curcumin reduces the brain inflammation and breaks up brain plaques associated with Alzheimers.

Arthritis

Curcumins natural anti-inflammatory properties rival those of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory

drugs (NSAIDs).

When tested against drugs used to extinguish the pain and inflammation of arthritis, curcumin

held its own.

It performs as well as or even better than over-the-counter and prescription NSAIDs.

Curcumin is more effective than anti-inflammatory drugs for rheumatoid arthritis.

Bacterial Infections and Viruses

Test tube and animal studies suggest turmeric kills bacteria and viruses but so far this

has not been proven in people.

The National Center for Biodefense and Infectious Diseases is currently studying the effects

of curcumin on Rift Valley fever. They plan to extend their research to other viruses

including HIV.

Brain Boosting

Curcumin is a potent antioxidant that readily crosses the blood-brain barrier.

It can improve memory and concentration by increasing blood flow and neurotransmitter

formation.

Theres evidence that curcumin can boost levels of serotonin and dopamine.

Curcumin increases levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that

stimulates brain cell production.

Another compound in turmeric turmerone stimulates the production of new neurons.

This makes it a potential candidate for treating neurological disorders, such as stroke and

Alzheimers.

Cancer

Curcumin shows protective effects against many cancers including gastrointestinal, genitourinary,

gynecological, hematological, pulmonary, thymic, brain, breast, and bone.

Curcumin significantly inhibits growth of human breast cancer.

Curcumin has been found to kill cancer cells by several diverse mechanisms.

Its ability to selectively kill tumor cells while not harming normal cells makes curcumin

an attractive candidate as a cancer treatment.

Curcumin works synergistically with both chemotherapy and radiation treatments, increasing their

effectiveness.

Dr. Saraswati Sukumar is a cancer researcher at Johns Hopkins who has been involved in

over 300 studies on the disease.

In a recent interview, she revealed that shes found food provides more turmeric benefits

than supplements. Turmeric in capsules is very insoluble rendering them less effective.

Depression

Three groups of patients with depression were given either curcumin or Prozac, or a combination

of both. Somewhat surprisingly, curcumin supplements were as effective as Prozac. Patients who

took both curcumin and Prozac fared best.

Curcumin can help even major depressive disorder.

If you have depression, turmeric or curcumin supplements can be taken indefinitely.

They can safely be combined with antidepressant drugs or with other natural depression remedies

such as St. Johns wort and SAMe.

Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes

Curcumin holds promise for preventing and controlling diabetes.

One study followed 240 pre-diabetic adults over 9 months. During that time, 19 of the

placebo patients developed full-blown type 2 diabetes while none of the curcumin-taking

patients did.

Curcumin can mitigate diabetic complications including neuropathy. And since it tends to

lower blood sugar levels, it shows promise as a drug-free way to control blood sugar

levels.

Digestive Problems

Using curcumin for digestive problems shows mixed results. While it can help ulcerative

colitis, it can aggravate conditions like GERD and ulcers.

Fatigue and CFS

Fatigue is such a common problem, you might even think its normal to need coffee to

get through the day.

Fatigue can be caused by your lifestyle or it can be a symptom of an underlying condition

like fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome.

Taking curcumin supplements can dramatically decrease fatigue, particularly among the elderly.

The use of curcumin after surgery reduces post-operative pain and fatigue.

Curcumin significantly reduces oxidative stress and fatigue in chronic fatigue syndrome, making

it a potential treatment for CFS.

Heart Disease

The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of curcuminoids protects against atherosclerosis.

Curcumin reduces post-bypass heart attack risk by 56%.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Curcumin has been found to help alleviate obsessive actions and improve associated memory

loss by increasing levels of the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin.

Parkinsons Disease

Curcumin shows promise for treating Parkinsons by preventing clumping of a protein found

in the first stages of this disease.

It is currently being studied as a Parkinsons treatment by the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition.

The usual medical treatment is the application of topical corticosteroids and sometimes phototherapy.

Curcumin capsules were found to be a safe and effective adjunct to topical treatment.

Twelve weeks of curcumin improved inflammatory markers by 48%.

Results were so encouraging that researchers concluded that curcumin will be used more

for treating psoriasis in the future.

Wound Healing

Curcumin can speed up the healing of wounds.

Curcumin in combination with ginger promotes wound healing when used either orally or topically.

Turmeric and Curcumin Side Effects

Turmeric and curcumin are beginning to sound like miracle cures.

And since they are natural they must be safe, right?

Turmeric consumed as a spice in food is considered safe.

There are almost no known turmeric side effects except for an increased risk of kidney stones

in those susceptible.

But we were surprised to learn that turmeric and curcumin supplements carry a large number

of possible side effects, interactions, and warnings.

While clearly turmeric and curcumin are not identical, their respective side effects and

reactions are treated as one on sites like Drugs.com, RXlist.com, and the National Institutes

of Healths MedLine.

All three sites were in agreement that you should not take turmeric or curcumin supplements

if:

You are pregnant. Curcumin stimulates the uterus and raises the risk of a miscarriage.

The safety of this spice while breast feeding has not been established.

You are trying to conceive. If you are having trouble conceiving, turmeric could add to

your difficulties. You have a hormone-sensitive condition. Turmeric

can act like estrogen so should be avoided if you have reproductive cancer, endometriosis,

or uterine fibroids. You have gallstones or gallbladder disease.

Turmeric can make gallbladder problems worse. You are scheduled for surgery in the next

two weeks. Turmeric increases the risk of bleeding.

You take medications that slow clotting such as aspirin, clopidogrel, diclofenac, ibuprofen,

naproxen, and warfarin. This mix increases the risk of bruising and bleeding.

You have GERD, ulcers, or other stomach problems. Turmeric can make GERD worse and cause gastric

irritation, stomach upset, nausea, and diarrhea. You take drugs to reduce stomach acid. Turmeric

can interfere with the actions of medications like Zantac, Tagamet, and Nexium, increasing

the production of stomach acid. You take diabetes medication. Turmeric increases

the risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). You have an iron deficiency. Turmeric can

prevent the absorption of iron. Some supplements contain piperine to enhance

curcumin bioavailability. However piperine can also increase the bioavailability and

slow the elimination of a number of drugs, including phenytoin, propranolol, and theophylline.

Seventy drugs are known to interact adversely with curcumin and turmeric supplements.

Turmeric Dosage

According to the University of Marylands Complementary and Alternative Medicine Guide,

here are suggested turmeric dosages for adults:

Cut root: 1.5-3 grams per day Dried, powdered root: 1-3 grams per day

Fluid extract (1:1): 30-90 drops per day Tincture (1:2): 15-30 drops, 4 times per day

Their recommended curcumin dosage for a standardized powder supplement is 400-600 mg, 3 times per

day.

Look for products standardized for 95% curcuminoids that also contain piperine or black pepper

extract. Follow the dosage instructions on labels.

Turmeric Tea

The people of Okinawa, Japan are the longest-lived in the world, with an average life span of

81.2 years.

And they drink large amounts of turmeric tea.

Turmeric tea is a great compromise between to trying to get enough turmeric into your

daily diet and taking supplements.

Boiling turmeric in water for 10 minutes increases the solubility of curcumin 12 times!

To make basic turmeric tea, put 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder in 1 cup of water and simmer

for 10 minutes. Strain if needed and serve.

If you actually enjoy it, youre in luck.

Most people arent too crazy about it. Its very bitter and medicinal-tasting.

Ive been experimenting to find a recipe thats both healthy and delicious.

This recipe is tasty and assures maximum bioavailability due to the addition of coconut oil one

of our favorite healthy fats.

Liquid Gold Turmeric Tea

1/2 cup water 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 cup coconut milk 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Honey or stevia to taste Bring water to a boil. Add turmeric powder

and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Add coconut milk and coconut oil. Heat until

warmed through. Sweeten with honey or stevia to taste.

Feel free to experiment with the ingredients and proportions to create the brew that is

just right for you.

You can substitute almond milk or regular milk for coconut milk.

Ghee traditional clarified Indian butter works great instead of coconut oil and

adds a rich buttery flavor.

A good friend suggested adding a little rum to make a Hot Turmeric Toddy!

Turmeric vs Curcumin in a Nutshell

Youve heard all the pros and cons of turmeric health benefits found in food versus curcumin

supplements.

If youre a little confused, I felt the same way when I started writing this article.

Heres our take plus a few words from the experts

Turmeric as a spice has a long history of safe and effective use.

Its known that when turmeric is cooked with oil, boiled, or combined with black pepper,

its bioavailability is greatly increased.

While there are turmeric capsules and turmeric tinctures available, their bioavailability

is questionable and are more likely to cause side effects.

Curcumin is an isolated compound with a relatively short history.

Most studies on curcumin end with a statement like this:

Results look promising. More research needed.

Its not always safe, especially if you are already taking any medications or have

an existing health condition.

If you decide to take a curcumin supplement look for a standardized extract that has taken

measures to enhance bioavailability like the addition of piperine, phosphatidylserine,

or the use of nano-particles.

Otherwise your supplement may be passing straight through you.

Dr. Andrew Weil, founder of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, sums up our feelings

about turmeric vs curcumin:

until proven otherwise in head to head studies, whole plants are usually a better

choice than isolates. On the other hand, curcumin appears to have a more rapid and dramatic

effect, and may be the better choice as a therapeutic (rather than a preventative) preparation.

Cancer expert Dr. Saraswati Sukumar believes the liberal use of turmeric in cooking is

all you need to get therapeutic amounts.

We agree that its prudent to start first with turmeric in food and tea for that sweet

spot of maximum benefits with virtually no risk of side effects.

And if you dont get the results you want, you can try turmeric supplements.

If that still doesnt bring the relief youre looking for, then you can try curcumin supplements,

staying mindful of interactions and side effects.

Senator Lindsey Graham On James Comey Firing And Russia (Full) | Meet The Press | NBC News - Duration: 10:27.

DANGEROUS BECAUSE HE MAY BE OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE IN TERMS OF

THE INVESTIGATION. >> JOINING ME NOW IS SENATOR

LINDSEY GRAHAM OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

SENATOR, WELCOME BACK TO "MEET THE PRESS."

>> GOOD MORNING. >> I ASSUME IT'S DARK COMEDY.

>> WHY DID I AGREE TO DO THIS? >> OH, BECAUSE YOU'RE A GLUTTON

FOR PUNISHMENT, SIR. >> OKAY.

>> WELCOME. LET ME START HERE.

THE PRESIDENT SAID THAT RUSSIA WAS ON HIS MIND WHEN HE WAS

MAKING THIS DECISION. HOW CONCERNING IS THAT TO YOU

WHEN IT COMES TO HIM ADMITTING THAT WAS AMONG THE THINGS IN HIS

MIND WHEN HE MADE THIS DECISION TO FIRE JAMES COMEY?

>> I THINK WE NEED TO HAVE COMEY COME BEFORE THE JUDICIARY

COMMITTEE AND CLEAR THE AIR. DID THE PRESIDENT EVER SAY

ANYTHING TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE FBI THAT WOULD BE CONSTRUED AS

TRYING TO UM PEAD THE INVESTIGATION -- IMPEDE THE

INVESTIGATION? THE PRESIDENT CALLED ME ABOUT

THE FIRING AND REFERENCED THE COMEY MEETING LAST WEEK AND THE

JUDICIARY COMMITTEE AND HOW BAD IT WAS.

IT'S TIME TO CALL THE FBI DIRECTOR AND HAVE HIM EXPLAIN TO

THE COUNTRY AT LARGE ABOUT THE DINNER.

IF THERE ARE ANY TAPES THEY NEED TO BE TURNED OVER.

I DOUBT IF THERE ARE WE NEED TO CLEAR THE AIR ALSO.

>> LET ME PUT UP THAT TWEET WHERE THE PRESIDENT PUT THE WORD

TAPES IN QUOTES SO WE DON'T QUITE KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.

DID YOU THINK THAT CONSTITUTED A THREAT TO COMEY?

>> I THINK IT WAS INAPPROPRIATE. I THINK IT REQUIRES SOMEBODY

LIKE ME, A REPUBLICAN TO CALL COMEY BEFORE THE JUDICIARY

COMMITTEE TO LET HIM EXPLAIN THAT CONVERSATION.

RIGHT NOW, I DO NOT BELIEVE PRESIDENT TRUMP IS A TARGET OR

SUBJECT OF ANY INVESTIGATION REGARDING COLLUSION WITH THE

RUSSIANS. THAT'S WHAT I BELIEVE.

BUT THIS TWEET HAS TO BE ANSWERED.

I WOULD ADVISE THE PRESIDENT NOT TO TWEET OR COMMENT ABOUT THE

INVESTIGATION AS WE GO FORWARD. THE RUSSIANS DID INTERFERE IN

OUR ELECTION. I DON'T THINK THEY CHANGED THE

OUTCOME. I HAVE NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION.

THE PRESIDENT NEEDS TO BACK OFF AND LET THE INVESTIGATION GO

FORWARD. WE NEED TO CALL COMEY AND GET TO

THE BOTTOM OF ALL OF THIS. I THINK IT'S TIME FOR AN FBI

AGENT TO LEAD THE FBI. YOU TALK ABOUT A NEW PERSON TO

LEAD THE FBI, HOW ABOUT AN FBI AGENT ABOVE REPROACH.

>> WHY DO YOU THINK IT HAS TO BE AN FBI AGENT AT THIS POINT?

WHY NOT A U.S. ATTORNEY, PROSECUTOR, SOMEBODY LIKE THAT?

>> IT COULD BE. IT COULD BE A LOT OF PEOPLE.

HOW ABOUT THE IDEA OF AN FBI AGENT LEADING THE FBI, PROMOTING

WITHIN THE RANKS? THERE'S SO MANY GOOD AGENTS, MEN

AND WOMEN OUT THERE CAPABLE OF LEADING THE AGENCY.

THIS IS UP TO THE PRESIDENT. HE HAS THE CAPABILITY TO PICK

SOMEBODY BEYOND REPROACH OUTSIDE THE POLITICAL LANE.

I HOPE HE'LL DO THAT, I'M READY TO DO THAT.

I'M READY TO MOVE ON AND PICK A FLEW FBI AGENT.

I HAVE NO EVIDENCE THE PRESIDENT COLLUDED WITH THE RUSSIANS AT

ALL. NOBODY ON THE CAMPAIGN I KNOW OF

HAS COLLUDED WITH THE RUSSIANS. WE DON'T KNOW ALL THE EVIDENCE

YET. WE NEED TO CONTINUE FORWARD AND

PROTECT THESE INVESTIGATIONS. >> WHILE STAYING ON THE FBI

DIRECTOR, EIGHT PEOPLE INTERVIEWED YESTERDAY AT THE

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, ONE OF THEM A COLLEAGUE OF YOURS, SENATOR

JOHN CORNYN. TWO WERE WOMEN, COULD BE THE

FIRST WOMAN TO HEAD THE FBI. A FORMER FBI AGENT AND FORMER

MEMBER OF CONGRESS. LET ME ASK YOU THIS.

IN THIS POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT, DO YOU THINK IT'S THE RIGHT TIME

TO HAVE THE FIRST EVER FBI DIRECTOR WHO HAD A POLITICAL --

ELECTED POLITICAL BACKGROUND WHICH IS WHAT IT WOULD BE IF

EATS MIKE ROGERS OR JOHN CORNYN WERE NAMED?

>> NO. I THINK IT'S NOW TIME TO PICK

SOMEBODY THAT COMES FROM WITHIN THE RANKS OR SUCH A REPUTATION

THAT HAS NO POLITICAL BACKGROUND AT ALL THAT CAN GO INTO THE JOB

ON DAY ONE. WHO DOES THE FBI DIRECTOR WORK

FOR? TO ME, IT'S LIKE APPOINTING A

JUDGE. THE PRESIDENT ACTUALLY APPOINTS

A JUDGE BUT THE JUDGE IS LOYAL TO THE LAW.

THE PRESIDENT APPOINTS THE FBI DIRECTOR BUT THE FBI DIRECTOR

HAS TO BE LOYAL TO THE LAW. JOHN CORNYN IS A WONDERFUL MAN

UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD BE A SUPERB CHOICE TO BE FBI

DIRECTOR. THESE ARE NOT NORMAL

CIRCUMSTANCES. WE HAVE A CHANCE TO RESET AS A

NATION, THE PRESIDENT HAS A CHANCE TO CLEAN UP THE MESS HE

MOSTLY CREATED. HE REALLY DID HIS STAFF A

DISSERVICE BY CHANGING THE EXPLANATION.

I WOULD ENCOURAGE THE PRESIDENT TO PICK SOMEBODY WE CAN ALL

RALLY AROUND, INCLUDING THOSE WHO WORK IN THIS FBI.

>> LET ME ASK YOU SOMETHING ABOUT RUSSIAN INTEREST

INTERFERENCE. LATER IN THE SHOW I HAD A SHOW

WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE, REX TILLERSON.

I CONDUCTED IT YESTERDAY. HE WOULD NOT GIVE AN EXPLANATION

WHY THE ISSUE OF RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE WASN'T EVEN BROUGHT

UP DURING HIS MEETING WITH FOREIGN MINISTER LAVEROV.

IT DIDN'T SEEM TO BE A TOP PRIORITY.

CAN WE MOVE ON IF WE DON'T CONFRONT THEM ON THIS?

>> I DON'T KNOW. SECRETARY TILLERSON DID A

MASTERFUL JOB TALKING ABOUT THE THREAT OF NORTH KOREA.

I UNDERSTAND WANTING TO ENGAGE THE RUSSIANS AND SYRIA BECAUSE

THEY'RE PART OF THE SOLUTION IF WE FIND ONE.

I'M 1,000% THE RUSSIANS INDEPENDENT FEARED IN OUR

ELECTION AND HACKED INTO THE DOC E-MAIL AND I DO NOT BELIEVE WE

CAN GO FORWARD AS A NATION UNTIL WE PUBLISH RUSSIA.

I HAVE BIPARTISANS SANCTIONS FOR RUSSIA AND MY GOAL IS TO PUT IT

ON THE PRESIDENT'S DESK AND HOPE HE WOULD EMBRACE IT.

RUSSIA DIDN'T CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION BUT THEY SURE

TRIED AND I HOPE THEY WILL SEE THEIR INTERFERENCE AS A THREAT

TO OUR DEMOCRACY. >> I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE

INVESTIGATION. NENBC "WALL STREET JOURNAL" POLL

I WILL READ IT TO YOU. WHO SHOULD INVESTIGATE RUSSIAN

INTERFERENCE. ONLY 15% THINK IT SHOULD BE YOU

FOLKS IN CONGRESS, SENATOR. 78%, A BIPARTISAN GROUP OF

PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO SEE AN INDEPENDENT COMMISSION OR A

SPECIAL PROSECUTOR. DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY THE PUBLIC

DOESN'T TRUST NOW THE POLITICSES TO DO THIS?

>> YEAH. BUT HERE'S WHAT I THINK ABOUT

THE INVESTIGATION. RIGHT NOW, IT IS A

COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE INVESTIGATION, NOT A CRIMINAL

INVESTIGATION, SO YOU DON'T NEED A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR.

I TRUST DEPUTY ROTHENSTEIN TO DO THIS.

IF HE GETS TO THE POINT HE CAN'T DO IT AND IT BECOMES A CRIMINAL

INVESTIGATION, WE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR.

AND INDEPENDENT COMMISSION TAKES IT OUTSIDE OF CONGRESS.

I THINK THE INTEL AND JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, WE'RE DOING A GOOD

JOB. I WANT TO KEEP IT INSIDE THE

CONGRESS. I'D LIKE A SELECT COMMITTEE

WHERE WE ALL WORK TOGETHER. RIGHT NOW I SEE NO NEED FOR A

SPECIAL PROSECUTOR. IT'S NOT A CRIMINAL

INVESTIGATION AND SEE NO NEED FOR INDEPENDENT COMMISSION YET.

>> YOU HAVE CALLED FOR A SPECIAL COUNCIL A NUMBER OF TIMES DURING

THE OBAMA YEARS AND TARGETING REPORTERS AND LEAKS AND WHITE

HOUSE LEAKS AND INVESTIGATIONS AND THE IDEA JOE SESTAK MAY HAVE

GOTTEN A JOB OFFER IN EXCHANGE -- MY POINT IS WHY DID

ALL THOSE MEET THE TEST FOR SPECIAL COUNCIL BUT THIS ONE

DOESN'T? >> THIS IS A

COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE INVESTIGATION.

WE'RE NOT INVESTIGATING A CRIME YET.

IF IT BECOMES A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OF THE TRUMP

CAMPAIGN COLLUDING WITH THE RUSSIANS AND MR. ROTHENSTEIN

DOESN'T DO HIS JOB. THERE IS A PROCESS IN PLACE.

I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT POLLING OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN GETTING THE

RIGHT ANSWER. RUSSIANS DID IT, NEED TO BE

PUNISHED. TRUMP IS NOT A TARGET OF THIS

INVESTIGATION YET. LEAVE THIS INVESTIGATION ALONE.

CONGRESS IS DOING A GOOD JOB, IN MY VIEW.

IF IT GETS TO THE POINT WE CAN'T WE'LL TAKE IT OUTSIDE OF

CONGRESS. >> YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE

PRESIDENT'S FINANCE, THE PRESIDENT HAS MADE A BIG DEAL HE

SENT YOU A CERTIFIED LETTER FROM HIS ACCOUNTANT, ALL THAT MEANS

IS YOU SIGNED FOR IT. >> RIGHT.

>> THAT'S FINE. IN THIS CASE, SHOULDN'T YOU WANT

TO SEE THE TAX RETURNS FROM ONE OF THESE LLCs THAT RUN A GOLF

COURSE, THERE'S A REPORT FROM NORTH CAROLINA THE TRUMP

NATIONAL GOLF COURSE MAY HAVE BEEN FINANCED WITH RUSSIAN

MONEY. THAT WON'T BE IN THE PRESIDENT'S

TAX RETURN, THAT WILL BE IN THAT LLC OF TRUMP NATIONAL IN

CHARLOTTE THAT HAS THAT. ARE YOU GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET

YOUR HANDS ON THOSE RECORDS? >> I HAVE YET TO FIND ANY

EVIDENCE OF IMPROPER BUSINESS DEALINGS BETWEEN THE TRUMP

ORGANIZATION AND RUSSIA REGARDING THE ELECTION OR

ANYTHING ELSE. HOWEVER, FOREVER YOU CAN SHOW ME

THERE'S REASON FOR THAT, THERE'S A SUSPICION OF THAT WE NEED TO

GET THOSE DOCUMENTS. I DON'T ASK FOR THEM UNLESS

THERE'S A REASON. THE PRESIDENT SHOULD TURN OVER

HIS TAX RETURNS, HE SHOULD DO THAT.

I DON'T HAVE A REASON TO SUBPOENA THEM.

IF I GET THAT REASON, I'LL DO IT.

HE SHOULD TURN OVER HIS TAX RETURNS, DO THAT NOW.

>> ALL TAX RETURNS, NOT JUST PERSONAL BUT LLCs.

THAT'S WHERE THIS WILL BE, NOT IN HIS PERSONAL TAX RETURN IF

THAT'S THERE. >> IF YOU CAN SHOW ME A NEED TO

DO THAT I WILL DO IT. I CAN'T SAY ON TELEVISION BASED

ON YOUR QUESTION THAT'S A GOOD IDEA.

I'M OPEN MINDED TO ALL THINGS RUSSIA.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS I THINK RUSSIA TRIED TO AFFECT OUR

ELECTION AND UNDERMINE OUR DEMOCRACY AND I'VE YET TO FIND

COLLUSION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA.

THERE'S A "WASHINGTON POST" STORY THAT COMEY WENT TO BURR TO

GET MORE AGENTS AND MORE MONEY. THAT'S NOT TRUE.

THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS BEING SAID TRUE OR HALF-TRUTHS.

LET THE PROCESS WORK. I PROMISE THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH

CAROLINA, THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES I DO CARE ABOUT

THIS. I HAVE NOBODY TO PUNISH OR

REWARD OTHER THAN GET TO THE FACTS.

>> SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM. I HOPE YOU DON'T REGRET COMING

ON NOW.
