Matilda: Hello StarFam!

GM Ylva: And welcome!

Both: To Star Stable News!

Matilda: We've told you before that Star Stable is focusing a lot on behind the scenes improvements,

and this week we're improving the quality of player controls!

We've improved the positioning and movement of the camera, which means the way you see things when you

play will look much smoother and nicer.

GM Ylva: From now on the camera will adjust to the position of your character much better.

This will make it a lot easier for you to see your surroundings properly.

Matilda: When you dismount you will also notice that the steering of your character on foot

has improved significantly.

For example, turning your character around will from now on be much faster and easier.

GM Ylva: What is your favorite thing about the new controllers?

Try them out and tell us in the comments!

All around Jorvik there are Golden Stars hidden in secret locations.

These stars will not give you an advantage in the game, but the hunt for them is an adventure

in itself.

Today we're adding another 14 stars.

But, some of the new ones are not only tricky to find.

After you've found the location where they are, they also demand you to do something special

to make them reveal themselves.

So I suggest you go click on everything and everyone that look a little suspicious around

Jorvik, and I recommend you to bring your friends out on your Star search.

I guarantee you'll need each others help!

Matilda: If you want to know more about the Golden Stars we've put a link in the upper right

corner at the end of this episode for you guys - check it out!

Next episode will be the last of this season of The Star Stable News, and we would like to know...

GM Ylva: What do you want to see in the next season?

Matilda: Yes!

GM Ylva: Please tell us all of your ideas in the comments - what did you like about

this season?

And what would you like to see in the next one?

for what you think is the most interesting.

Logo and website launched for RWC Sevens 2018 in San Francisco

A vibrant new logo for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018, depicting the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge, was unveiled in host city San Francisco on Wednesday with fans encouraged to sign up to register their interest in tickets via the newly launched tournament website.

The iconic AT&T Park in San Francisco will provide the spectacular backdrop to the four-day tournament in July 2018 that features 24 mens and 16 womens teams competing for the title of world champions.

The 42,000-seater stadium, which is home to the San Francisco Giants baseball team, is one of the most familiar and highly rated sports venues in the USA and is located in downtown San Francisco, along the waterfront overlooking the bay.

This will be the seventh staging of the tournament, which has previously been held in Edinburgh, Hong Kong (twice), Mar del Plata, Dubai and Moscow.

Having won both the mens and womens events at the famous Russian venue of Luzhniki Stadium, New Zealand will be back to defend their titles but will likely face considerable resistance in the form of Olympic gold medallists, Australia (womens) and Fiji (mens), not to mention strong home competition from both USA sides.

World Rugby Chairman Bill Beaumont said: The success of rugby sevens at the recent Olympic Games in Rio gave the game a huge shot in the arm and we are working hard to ensure its popularity continues to rise in the coming years.

Part of that is building on the success of previous RWC Sevens tournaments, which come at the mid-point in the Olympic cycle. .

Being a vibrant and exciting city, San Francisco is the perfect place to stage this tournament, which in the past has provided plenty of thrilling rugby action.

And we are delighted that AT&T Park will be the venue, providing spectators with great facilities and affording the teams the sort of stage befitting of their athleticism and skills.".

Rugby News | Red's Henry Taefu among eight new caps in Manu Samoa's June squad - Duration: 3:36.

Red's Henry Taefu among eight new caps in Manu Samoa's June squad

Manu Samoa coach, Namualuulu Alama Ieremia, has announced his squad for the June July Internationals. With Aaron Mauger named as his new Assistant Coach, the squad includes eight new players.

Coach Ieremia said the squad represented a solid mix of experience and new and upcoming talent.

"We are delighted with the squad we have named today. We have some very experienced players in the squad, but we have also ensured we have injected some new energy into this playing group," he said.

"Samoa Rugby has been going through a period of healthy change, and we believe we've picked a solid squad for the upcoming season.

"We kick off our campaign as we did two years ago, with the opportunity of a lifetime to play against the World Champion All Blacks.

Then we play Wales in Apia plus our World Cup qualification test matches against our brothers from Tonga and Fiji.

"While Apia Park will always be our true home ground, the fact that we are playing at Eden Park signals an opportunity to call that ground, our home away from home with all our supporters and families in Auckland and NZ.

"We have a huge international season ahead of us, and like other Pacific nations we have to manage the fact our talent comes from all around the world.

"Unfortunately some talented players were not available this season because of injury, but it has also given us the opportunity to blood in new talent," he said.

Samoa Rugby Union also announced the appointment of former All Black Aaron Mauger as assistant coach. "After discussing earlier in the year this opportunity, I am grateful to have someone of Aaron's calibre join our coaching team.

His coaching pedigree is much in demand around the world, and he will fill an area of need in our coaching setup that will assist us greatly," said Namualuulu. Mauger himself is excited about the opportunity.

"I am very humbled and excited about this opportunity. Manu Samoa Rugby has always had a strong place in my heart due to family bloodlines and I have always been a close follower and proud supporter of the team over the years.

"I feel very privileged to be able to join the team and help them through a very important period in Samoa Rugby. This team is a great fit for me and the timing is good.

"The opportunity to work alongside some good people in a team that has a rich culture and strong connections with its people appeals to me immensely.
