An evening in the polder

Hello everyone, welcome to a new video

Here in the polder of Oudorp (Alkmaar - Holland)

It's not the first time, i'm here. It's my regular hunting area

Of course, I haven't been here for a very long time

And I just walked through the polder

and the waters have grown a lot of vegetation

It's going to be tough but..

There are some open sections out there, and my route is going to be very short

I just have an hour or so, to fish...

In this beautiful evening..

Well, beautiful?...

There some clouds and a slight breeze

Nothing will prevent me for fishing

I'll hunt for pike

And i hope, you'll join me

I use a small spinnerbait here

The reason is, because of all the vegetation in here

And the tiny stream is very shallow

Using bigger lures in this little stream is not entirely impossible, i don't expect big fish in here anyway

I've seen some Perch swimming in here, so who knows?

This is the risk if you fish with spinners..

you might catch one of these little rascals, look, it's angry

When it's angry, then he's going to put up its dorsal fin..

Very fun

I'll release it

Well, nice result, i would say

Lots of spawning spots on it

It's clear, they're done reproducing themselves..

It's a pissed off male...I think

I'll put it back in the water...

It's not getting happier, i guess

So...let's release it

I just finished the waters around this doggy playground

Just one of the few accessible fishingspots in this area

There are some sort of holes between the reed, which makes casting in your lure, a bit more easy

I had 4 attacks in this water

Underwater, the fish didn't hook themselves properly

Because the bites were so weird, i think they didn't came from small pike, but Perch

Anyway, evening ain't over yet

I'll go to another fishing spot.

Besides, i'll end up across this stream anyway, on my way back, and i'll try again when i'm there..

I kinda like these small underwater attacks..

Anyway, let's go to the next spot

Oh man, a small one again, bummer

I have to admit, it's a fighter!

Wow, it's pissed off! I almost lost it there..

So i need to be fast here, i don't want to lose this one

well..

Once again, a lot of spawning spots on it...

It's one ugly f*cker...

But i'm happy with this catch

I arrived at the end of my route

Now i'm going back again, and i'll pick another route for that

The problem is, i can't use my camera very well..

...Maybe i'll just show you my results or something, holding the fish in front of the camera

But live shots will be a bit tricky here

It's a bit annoying, it's because of the high grass out there

It's going to be hard to get some cool shots, but it's for just a short distance

Just about 100 meters in total

Of course, i'll try to record all of the action, but i can't guarantee cool shots there

Otherwise, i'll just show you the results

I still have 20 minutes left to fish

just 20 minutes

Then i'll quit fishing, but so far, i'm satisfied. I have a lot of fun

Come on, let's fish that last part

This last part here

The last 50 meters of my route, has no vegetation or lillypads at all..

So i'll fish with a crankbait now

this time, i'll use the SPRO Fat iris Pink, 17 grams crankbait

It's very succesful

Let's give it all and try to catch on more

Holy moly, that one's pissed off!

I think it's around..

80, 85 centimeters i guess..

Beautiful specimen, no damages at all on this one

And of course, i love that, let's put it back, it's getting even more angry now

Just one hour and 20 minutes of fishing

And i caught pretty well, i would say
