 Pulisic, who has just 18 months left on his contract, has scored three times and provided four assists in all competitions this season

The Daily Caller reports, "Obama has been sitting down with prospective Democrats over

the past few months as the party searches for a strong challenger to emerge to face

President Donald Trump in 2020."

Obama did meet with Biden to discuss his Presidential plans in June, but has since met with many

other rumored candidates.

The Daily Caller reports, "In addition to his former vice president, Obama has had one-on-one

meetings with a host of other possible contenders including Democrats Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth

Warren, former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, and defeated Florida gubernatorial candidate

Andrew Gillum."

"He also notably met with Democratic Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke shortly after his defeat

to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz — only a week later, O'Rourke publicly revealed he was

considering a presidential run despite consistently claiming he definitely will not be running

for president," the Daily Caller adds.

Biden has shown strong interest in running for President, telling reporters during his

book tour earlier this month that, "I'll be as straight with you as I can.

I think I'm the most qualified person in the country to be president."

Biden clearly wants to run.

He's gearing up to announce and could very well be a formal candidate within a matter

of months.

But Obama's eagerness to meet with other candidates has left the former Vice President

feeling betrayed by his long-time political friend and ally.

While Biden's staff officially denies any ill-feelings, several outlets including Vanity

Fair and The Daily Caller report that sources close to Biden say he's taken Obama's

betrayal hard.

The only announced Democrat candidate for President so far is little-known Maryland

Congressman John Delaney, but the party is expected to field as many candidates as the

GOP did in 2016 and possibly more.

With such a large number of candidates, every endorsement, staff pickup, and locked-down

donor could make the difference between victory and defeat.

While Biden has name recognition and campaign experience, he will have to share the race

with literally dozens of other top-ranking Democrat challengers, including a host of

Senators and Governors from across the nation.

Obama's eagerness to meet with other potential candidates could mean he's not ready to

throw his support behind Biden just yet, or that he may have other ideas about whom the

Democrats should nominate in 2020.

The first primaries in the 2020 cycle are expected to take place in just over a year.

London. Chelsea are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, which could have a knock-on effect for Hazard

 Hazard, younger brother of Chelsea's Eden, is the German club's top target to replace Pulisic if he leaves, and Chelsea have the opportunity to bring him back from Monchengladbach, reports German publication BILD

 It is not impossible that Chelsea bring Hazard back to the club in order to use him as part of a deal for Pulisic

 BILD reports that Chelsea have a buyback clause for Hazard, but can only activate it in the summer of 2019
