EastEnders teases shock new romance as Karen Taylor snogs Billy Mitchell - News Live - Duration: 1:47.

EastEnders could be set for a shock new romance between Karen Taylor and Billy Mitchell.

With viewers still reeling from Ian Beale and Jean Slater's recent coupling, it seems another surprise new romance could be emerging in Albert Square.

The Taylors causes chaos at the Queen Vic's New Year's Eve party, with Karen at the centre of all the drama.

Karen sees in the New Year by planting a big kiss on Billy's lips - much to his surprise.

Stunned Billy momentarily forgets about Honey when Karen starts snogging him in front of all the shocked punters.

Billy, who is wearing a sparkly gold vest jacket, doesn't know where to look after he is finally released.

Karen also gets up on the sofa and makes a big announcement about her daughter Bernadette.

The festive spirit doesn't last for long as Karen becomes convinced that Tiffany is responsible for upsetting Bernadette.

She storms into Bernie's room and angrily confronts Tiffany over her recent behaviour.

Embarrassed Bernadette is sick of her mum interfering in her life.

Karen realises she has done wrong - but will Bernadette ever forgive her?

Napoli fans produced homemade banners and wore Kalidou Koulibaly masks as they showed for the Senegalese following the recent racism storm
