We are back on the road, going far from our home waters
We will do street fishing in Dordogne

After a long drive we arrived
to Périgueux
First we gonna buy some tackles
in this huge tackle shop
We need to buy some lures to be ready for fishing
We bought some stuff
to fish a river
we will target perch, chub and maybe pike
So we buy some finesse lures for drop shot something like that
and there we go ! We gonna have some fun !
There it is, we arrived to the first spot
we have a little canal to fish right there, and the main river
we definatly can find some fish there
the river is pretty big, but the waters seems to be a little bit murky
we will see how the fishing will be
we prepared some different tactics, lures
and we know there is fish there
i think that can be very nice
let's go !!
we were very hopeful for this first day and the spot was looking good
but despite all our efforts, nothing happened
Thomas try the chub in the late evening but they make fun of him this time

never mind, a friend of us was a drone pilot, so he showed us what he can do
we fish a couple of hours on this river
we discovered some spots
we got some bites but that was not craziness
tomorrow we are going back fishing and try other spots in ordered to catch perch..
tomorrow we are gonna fish more and hopefully catch some fish

Day 2 here in Périgord, street fishing today
back for fishing all day
we are going to focus on street fishing, in the middle of the city
we have some nice visible spot here
let's try to target this today
Thomas will target perch with light tackle
i'm gonna try heavier lures to catch the pikes and other bigger fish
we will use different lures
i'm gonna fish with bigger tackle, small one for thomas
let's see what works, let's go
i start with a spinnerbait
a visible color white and yelllow
i'm gonna target pike now
thomas is fishing with light baits
to catch the parch, i see some minnows close to the bank
it is a good sign
let's see if the fish are active

We have some fun, doing some street fishing is very cool
we struggled during the first two days, looking for a nice spot
final day, a few hours left and we find the fish so
we were lucky we found the pattern immediately
this is the spirit of street fishing

on the final day we get lucky and caught some active fish
the first two days were very hard
but we manage to get some nice drone shots
we were on vacation here and have the opportunity to fish
finally we found the fish
we enjoy a lot, and catching a decent amount of fish
perch, pike, different species
that was really nice
for sure !
that was difficult to find the lure that was working, finally the last try with a 3" softbait was a succes
it imitates the shads perfectly and works really well
