Customer Spotlight - Edegar Sparrenberger | Wood-Mizer - Duration: 3:06.

My name is Edgar.

I started this business when I got to know Wood-Mizer.

in Cambara.

In the event of Cambara,

I got to know it there,

And then I went to Bom Jesus,

and I closed the deal and bought the machine.

That's when we started...

I used to work with a chainsaw, but then I bought this machine,

and I haven't stopped using it.

I started working for one customer, then another,

and that was it.

It takes me about two weeks per customer.

My services are booked for three months in advance.

And...it's my third year coming back to these customers.

The demand is even higher than the first time.

And it continues like this. It never stops.

Sometimes I get two or three calls a day from my customers

asking for services, and sometimes I refuse because...

they're in a hurry and it gets hard, you know?

So I schedule my services.

I schedule it, and I take it step by step.

Also region by region.

In Taquara, Igrejinha, Sao Francisco...

Cambara, Lajeado Grande, Bom Jesus...

all those regions.

I can't handle all of that.

But I serve other regions closer to home.

Here in Igrejinha

we have more work to do.

Through Mr. Edegar, who is the owner of the sawmill,

I was able to meet other people

who told me that he did great work in the region.

It's one of the oldest sawmills in this region

that saws wood on others' property.

This way, I have the wood on my property.

I can use it and the cost is much lower.

Because of the transportation of the sawmill,

I can do this on the property with this mobile sawmill we have today.

It's great.

Currently I'm very happy

because this allowed me to buy my tractor and my land,

where I also have a corn crop.

But this is more for leisure.

We have our Care Van today providing cholesterol screenings, glucose screenings, BMI and child

vision checks.

We partner with Lovelace and UNM to provide these screenings.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico have participated with this great event over 5

years and we are happy to be again to be participating this year.

Today's Feria De Salud event is extremely important Albuquerque Community

because we have an opportunity to really educate our community members.

There are members that might be looking into Medicaid, Medicare and retail products so

this gives us an opportunity to meet face to face with our community members to provide

them with education.
