Waching daily May 30 2018

Hello, my name is Christian...

I´m Diego!

We are from Mexico City!

#TodosSomosHunters! (#WeAreHunters!)

Hello hunters! Today is Tuesday of Top 5 on Madhunter Channel...

And because you asked for it! Today I will show you 5 prototypes of Thundercats that were never produced.

In these kinds of famous toy lines, the manufacturers tried to produce the most figures they could.

Only that way they could fulfill the demand of the kids.

But sometimes they had issues such as high costs, difficulties in the production or...

Lack of popularity, that caused that some figures were never produced.

Those kinds of figures only remained in prototypes.

The main cause was that the demand for the franchise was reduced, so production was stopped.

Those situations brought nightmares to children in those years and to collectors today...

Because they only give us an image of what it was coming but it was never released!

They traumatized us!

Today I will show you 5 prototypes that any Thundercats fan would kill to get them!

Sharpen your "Sword of Omens" because today I´m very cosmic!

In the position #5, is Cannon Blaster!

This human cannon appeared at the LJN mini catalog and it was supposed to be part of the Berserkers...

The pirates!!!

As mortals, we only had 4 characters: Hammerhand, Cruncher, Ram Bam and Top-Spinner!

We could never have this ruthless warrior.

A curious fact is that this figure never appeared in the original series. It was an invention of LJN (toymaker).

I´m sure you never noticed that this pirate is a midget inside a robot!

It has a special feature... When you press a button the little pirate is expelled from the robot!

It has a perfect design and the colors are very striking.

There is more than 1 figure known but they are all part of the pre-production process.

But the most awesome and important piece is the one they used for the catalog and we can see it here.

The #4 is for Quick Jaws!

The first name thought for him was Trap Jaws!!!

Very creative right?

I'm sure Macplay in Mexico would have called it "Mandibulas Rapidas", they were brief.

It has a mechanism at the back to make the jaws movement.

Those jaws are super badass.

There are variants of colors in the few pieces known, but I think the orange is the best one!

This character was not part of the cartoon, but in the toy line, it was supposed to be part of the Berserkers.

Uff I get nostalgic about all the stuff that LJN thought for this franchise...

Man singing: "Don´t be sad!" (Famous stand-up actor).

The position #3, is for Red Eye!

This Top is getting hot with this figure...

This is Red Eye he is a Lunatak from the Dark Moon of Plun-Darr.

With his infrared vision, he could see Tygra even when he became invisible.

Red Eye is an engineer, a pilot and more! A box full of surprises.

He has a lethal weapon in his chest called Sidewinder...

The amazing thing about the prototype is that it has the weapon which can be launched!

I like his appearance better in the toy than in the series.

From all the Lunataks this character was the only one that got to be a prototype...

We will never know if they thought in another one!

In the #2 is the Mad Bubbler!

This maleficent spirit has the best name of all!

It inhabits the old Thundrillium Mine located on Hook Mountain.

It expels bubbles from its mouth that makes its victim lose the ability to choose between good and evil.

The color of the toy is very different from the character in the cartoon... But even that, I love it!

The prototype was designed to expel real bubbles when pressing the head.

It was the perfect piece to complete the trio of "Rampagers" but it was a shame they never produced it!

"Shame for you Margarito!!!" (Famous 80s character that always loses in a TV Show).

Here is the first prototype for this figure... Is horrible!!!

A friend of mine found this piece at the house of a former employee of the factory.

It was sold for $15,000 USD a few years ago!

A fair price for a relic of the "Modern Archeology"...

In the position #1, is the Devil Berbil!!!

This is a mythical and controversial figure because we can call it a prototype...

But the truth is that it is an invention made by an employee who had extra time in the factory.

This figure was never thought for the original toys. But I can imagine the artist had a lot of fun creating it.

No one knows... But maybe he had the opportunity to show it for approval for production.

I would have approved it!

But I guess it was difficult to approve it...

Because they would have to create a complete story to introduce this character into the series.

But for me, it´s the coolest prototype in this Top!

It´s incredible to see one of the cutest characters of the series transformed into a devil!

I´m sure that the hardcore Thundercats fans have noticed that it has the wings of the Astral Moat Monster!

The Astral Moat Monster is one of the hardest figures to find in the regular collection.

The horns and the colors make it diabolical fun!

My favorite one of this Top is the #1! Write in the comments which one is yours.

If you liked the video give us a LIKE and share it with more Thunderians...

Let´s keep the memories of this series untouched... Do not let the new series destroy it!
